Lestat continues to be one of the more complex and interesting characters we've seen on screen in a while.
Reanimated got back on the tour bus with the band for the first two episodes of The Vampire Lestat and were not disappointed. There's a lot to chew on in these episodes and the promise of plenty more!
Somehow, the Tom Savini-directed remake of the grandpappy zombie movie of all time had slipped through the cracks of our recap process. Reanimated was more than happy to correct that oversight and spend time with Barbara, Ben and the gang at the farmhouse.
Reanimated keenly felt the meta while talking about podcasters in the zombie apocalypse after we watched "Didn't Die."
The inaugural season of the instant classic Widow's Bay comes to an end with some serious themes but the show still manages to make us laugh. Season 2 can't come soon enough!

We reach the end of a decent second season of Mayfair Witches with some good set up for a third season but also some nagging questions. There was also an honest-to-goodness reanimation in the finale, so we managed to stick the landing!
These two episodes feature a lot of overconfidence from our heroine and introduce a whole bevy of new witches.
We had a witch party, some real amoral geneticist behavior, a talamasca in turmoil and much more in these two episodes that do a lot to set up the action coming up this season, we hope.
We head back to New Orleans to hang out with Rowan, Lasher and the other magical misfits of Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches.
While there were neither readily apparent silence nor zones in this film, it was a fun good time.
Turns out all this African zombie outbreak needed was a guy named Brian Murphy. He'll fix your car, be your friend, shoot you in the head, save a baby, give that baby away a few minutes later, sleep in a tree and probably raise your child as his own.
There's some good work in this movie - a good cast and enough to sink your teeth into, but don't expect to be writing letters home about it.
Joe Keery, Georgina Campbell, Liam Neeson and the rest of a stellar cast, balanced with a dynamite script and great effects - all combined? You got yourself a pretty good ole zombie movie right there.
This film from New Zealand made excellent use of its beautiful locations, solid core cast and freaky howlers.

The show definitely lost a step on this episode. The show runners show their hand in how little they apparently thought about the faction 'Los Primativos' and offer up a completely meaningless sacrificial lamb that feels like a cheap attempt to manipulate the audience.
Off to a middling start! Although England gets done dirty in the first episode of the new season of Daryl Dixon, there is some light in this episode thanks to the direction of Daniel Percival who takes time to linger on some good scenes.

Reanimated put on our Junior Solider pants and watched Operation Undead for this episode of the podcast. This Thai period piece brought a novel approach to the genre, powerful performances and great make-up.
That's a wrap on the first season of Revival. We stuck it out, despite becoming painfully obvious that this was not a zombie show. Good performances from Melanie Scrofano, Andy McQueen and Steve Ogg made it worthwhile.
The manifold plotlines of Revival continue to writhe and resolve themselves as the season approaches its end.
Revival still packs a lot of plot into its run time but some of the cracks are starting to show in the production in the late season.
Reanimated found the funeral scene to be more punk rock than the actual punk rock show.

This is the end - of Generation Z, anyway. This show tried to do an awful lot and succeeded at times, but ultimately, it just didn't have time to do what Ben Wheatley was trying to accomplish.

Reanimated tackles the Spanish film Apocalypse Z on this week's podcast - the gang loved the pacing and storytelling in this adaptation of a popular novel and we're looking forward to the sequel!
Despite there being about 60 minutes missing from this movie, and at times it showed - Reanimated had a good time in Salem's Lot. Between a great cast, some fantastic editing and creepy Gordon Lightfoot songs, this really was a fun time.

A rare miss for Silo, this episode had Reanimated wishing we had the bends and could just hang out underwater until the plot decided it wanted to move on in a more meaningful manner.
As Mechanical tries to strike a blow in the psyops battle, Bernard is making moves on multiple levels as usual. In Silo 17 Juliette and Solo undertake a huge mission but then Juliette is faced with a dangerous mystery! Yikes!
Bernard continues to race all over the Silo attempting to quell the growing civil unrest. Lines are being drawn and sides are being chosen.
Solo might have a screw loose, Juliet isn't feeling so good and things in Silo 18 are reaching a fever pitch.

There's a lot to like about this family drama/dark comedy starring Damian Lewis and Kelly Macdonald as the heads of a family of suburban vampires.
We say aurevoir to season 2 of Daryl Dixon with a pretty solid season ender. A lot happened and the episode even wound up going in a direction that we did not expect!
This was a really solid episode of the show with Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride and the supporting cast firing on all cylinders and a script that highlighted some great character growth.
Tears were shed in this episode as we were served up a great reunion roughly five episodes in the making. Tears were also shed in frustration as a beloved cast member was killed. Nevertheless, we carry on as true Walking Dead fans must.

Reality television meets zombies in this episode of Reanimated when our fair hosts get together to discuss the South Korean reality program from summer 2023 called Zombieverse. It's a weird premise but it works surprisingly well, while held together by the interactions of a charming cast and more of the top notch Korean zombie extras and make-up that we've come to know so well from shows like All of Us Are Dead and Kingdom.
Herd is a novel approach to a zombie film, and that's not something you can say too often in the genre. Definitely watch the film before listening to this episode as there are some good plot mechanics that it would be a shame to spoil.

It hews quite closely to the anime with only some, though significant, deviations.

This episode had it all - nun combat, audio diaries and drinking water from questionable sources. Can't wait for more!
We finished up the first season of Dead City this week on the podcast and while we look forward to the second season, the first felt like we were rehashing some old conversations for a lot of it.
Despite some pretty laughable elements, these two episodes throw Reanimated some good plot curves that keep us engaged with Dead City's middle episodes.
In this episode of the TWD spin-off, Reanimated had some beef with seemingly gormless New Yorkers who are so easily persuaded to go on a suicide mission for the sake of a kid they have never met. We also had a round up of some promising projects - so have a listen!
Dead City is feeling a little confusing as it tries to raise the specter of Negan's past while it also maintains all the character redemption arc of the past several seasons of the show. It's still more than worth the price of admission, however. Come check it out with us!
It was finally time to head across the Hudson this week on the podcast, as we got to watch the first episode of the latest Walking Dead spinoff - Dead City. There's a lot here to unpack -- exposition, time jumps, the regression of emotional baggage and more!

For our Father's Day episode, Reanimated honors affable dad Paul Billings as "The Janitor's Boy" and "The Relic" really serve to drive home that if there's any kind of celebratory festival in the Silo, it's probably to cover up some nefarious business. Also, Common, dude. What a series of performances from this guy, holy crap.
Officials are dropping like flies in the Silo. Will Jules' questions unburied dangerous truths? Or just get everyone killed!? I don't know! Also this "!?" is called an interrobang. Just think that's cool.

Reanimated went to the movies for this episode and took in the Robert Kirkman-penned Renfield! What a hoot! Between the physical performances from Nicholas Hoult and Awkwafina, the pure comedic genius of Ben Schwartz and sheer presence of Shohreh Aghdashloo and Nicolas Cage, there was something for everyone. Also, there were gouts of blood.
The French film The Trip was an actual trip in this episode of Reanimated. We had so many questions but ultimately none of them mattered as much as this film being able to keep us entertained, which it did! against all odds.
Class warfare, environmentalism, corporate greed and parenting were all on the docket this week on the podcast with the Canadian film Brain Freeze. Come with us as we navigate the back nine in the dead of winter.
H.A. Conrad emerged from her covid cocoon to record this episode of the podcast wherein we took a look at the cult film Re-Animator (no relation). It's pretty fun, except for the part that Conrad had to fast forward.

This one has blown up big time. Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett put on a showcase of terrific acting skills as the show veers away from the game's plot.
We're back this episode for more reveling in The Last of Us. Not only did this episode have a stellar cold open set in Jakarta, it brought us face to face with the clickers with great effect. We also said goodbye to one of our core cast with a very tender (you might even say it was a tendril) moment.
We brought in Kyle this week to help us process the wonder that is The Last of Us. The show seems to be a powerhouse based on its first episode. Have a listen and watch it with us!
This one has been on our list since the earliest days of Reanimated and it was great to visit Havana, albeit in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. This film puts a wacky cast together with a lot of jokes, political satire about Cuba and zombies and honestly lands in some new territory, so that made it a lot of fun to watch. There was also a bunch of new trailers that dropped last week so we dug into Renfield, Blood, Evil Dead: Rise and some other tidbits.
We sank our teeth into the final episode of the season in this episode. Sure we have our little gripes here and there but overall, this show really works on a lot of levels. Looking forward to a second season!
More vampires and their draaama this week as Louis' and Lestat's romance turns into something unsavory and Claudia scratches out her own personality somewhere in the middle. The show continues to do a great job, both in Dubai and New Orleans.
We rise up out of our coffins for two more episodes of Interview with the Vampire this week. The differences between the original novel and this show are myriad but there's no denying the strength of this show, this cast and the updates that they've woven in. Have a listen with us!
Turns out our hosts were both big Anne Rice fans in their tenderer youths, no surprise there, so it's with no small amount of nostalgia that Reanimated is taking a look at the AMC series Interview with a Vampire. So far so good! The show clearly updates the original 1976 novel in some great ways.
This one had us feeling some emotions. Through all the ups and downs, we'd stuck with this show for 12 years, and it had stayed around and ended on a fairly high note. We'll see how the walking dead universe maintains next year, but there's plenty of meat left on the zombie genre for now.
We doubled up on seconds of Thanksgiving dinner and TWD episodes this week with the season marching like a herd of walkers toward its inevitable conclusion while we hapless audience members are carried along. Lots of fun in these two episodes, as well as some questions about Mercer's planning abilities and critiques of the lengthy closeups of Daryl's facial scar. Join us!
Here's a well put together episode with some great moments between characters who really needed to have a little dialog together, all placed against some fresh backdrops of scenarios we haven't seen in this show yet. Check it out!

Variant finally reintroduces the climby, doorknob-friendly, rock-wielding zombies that the show featured in season one, back before they were having discussions about continuity or "what can our zombies even do?" So to close that loop, they're bringing them back. OK, we can get behind that. Our commonwealth friends are in hot water and our B-plot wagoneers take a trip to renaissance town. It's a fun episode featuring some great lines of dialog and emotionally charged moments - also zombie killing. Basically it's peak Walking Dead.
Happy Founder's Day! Let's all celebrate Governor Milton and Sebastian and their glorious leadership of the Commonwealth. You'd think with a name like Common Wealth, they might be a little less cringey with their monocle-wearing elitism, but hey at least they have gladiatorial combat.
It's starting to sink in that these are the final eight episodes of The Walking Dead prime show. This installment brings Hornsby some fresh, terrible wounds, which is nice. Josh Hamilton continues to delight and surprise us with his turn as a fiendish all around bad guy. We also talk about how vampires and witches seem to be having a bit of a moment and that's cool.
Reanimated goes hunting for some uber vamps with Day Shift on Netflix. This was a fun movie, with great action and world building, but left us wishing there was more character development for some of the supporting cast. Would watch more Dave Franco and Jamie Foxx buddy cop movies.
We close out Tales of the Walking Dead with two more genre-bending episodes this week on the show - Davon and La Doña which take us into some Tales from the Crypt territory. Ms. Conrad spills the beans about the PPP easter egg prime show crossover and the amount of story hooks for the main show or another anthology really just keeps piling up. Have a listen!
Samantha Morton delivers once again as Alpha in "Dee" on Tales, but a few things don't add up in "Amy/Dr Everett" - Reanimated has questions.
After being so crestfallen over Fear the Walking Dead (we don't like quitting things) and not loving The World Beyond, it's been a huge rush to start getting into Tales of the Walking Dead! Also props to COVID-Conrad for pushing through for the episode.
We check out Malnazidos a.k.a. Valley of the Dead this week on the podcast for some Spanish Civil War zombies. This is a fun movie - lots of jokes, lots of zombies, what more can you ask for? Perhaps a scruffy-looking nerfherder to lead the ensemble named Jan (pronounced Han)? This movie has that too!
I know! I know! I said we'd have a fresh episode this week. Well COVID done made a liar outta me. HOWEVER, I can't lie when I say that it's been fun to trot these ole samples out of storage. This week it's Day of the Dead from 1985, so salute the Bub in your life, crack open a cold one with the helo crew and pull up a chair to the pig guts buffet.

Things are getting complicated with the Commonwealth. Acts are being committed that will prove difficult to undo, lines are being drawn and Negan is apparently going to be a dad. Huh? Also, Michael Biehn is there! and Jason Butler Harner does a fantastic turn as Toby Carlson.
We're continuing to churn through the the Walking Dead prime's final season, this time starting off with a Cudlitz directed "Rogue Elements." We still have questions about the Commonwealth but these episodes are gripping and entertaining.

It was Blood Red Sky this week on the podcast. This Netflix original had Reanimated wishing we’d taken the voucher when they overbooked the flight, because nobody was getting out of this trip “ok.” Sure, it wasn’t perfect, but Blood Red Sky took some liberties with well-trodden plan-based thriller formulae and we kinda liked that!

Army of the Dead lived up to Reanimated's expectations of the project - a dazzling spectacle that was a little weak in the story but had plenty of eye candy and ridiculous bread crumbs left behind by Zack Snyder to keep us laughing and enjoying it.
Not entirely sure what Fear can do to get back on our good side after such an underwhelming run in Season 6. Keith Carradine is a highlight in E13, but the story is mediocre.
Fear the Walking Dead started to claw its way back from a handful of bad episodes in the post-John Dorie era with “The Holding,” only to sink to new lows with “In Dreams.” Do people legitimately enjoy episodes of television that lean this heavily on dream sequences?

Daryl and Carol have some long-overdue discussions in this episode of The Walking Dead and we see how Daryl was living not his best life out in the woods for a few years after Rick’s disappearance. Also we get a sneak peak into how Daryl courts women in the zombocalypse by throwing fish at their front door from 20 feet away. Pretty sweet honestly.
Exit Humanity blew our minds this week by making its two hour runtime feel like much, much longer! Its savings graces came in the form of the beautiful locations, occasionally good cinematography and music.

It was time to watch Zombi Child on Reanimated this week. The French film is definitely not a genre zombie movie. It plays around with voodoo zombies but most of the running time is spent on the malaise of teenage girls who can’t even at their prestigious boarding school.

Why does Fear the Walking Dead feel like 100% a different universe from World Beyond? Could it be as simple as YA vs grown ups? A different writers room? Whatever it is, this show is better.
Reanimated got a little ranty on the podcast this week as they suffered through the poorly thought-out season one finale for the TWD spin-off. There were some glimmers and silver linings in the shape of the character Elton, and Felix has a lot of upside, but, despite the best efforts of the cast, the story is just not carrying the show.
After a glitch that cost us another irreplaceable episode of the the podcast, Reanimated rallied and recorded a make up this fine day with three recaps of World Beyond, summarizing much of the sordid details of the saga of Tony and Percy. Follow along gentle listeners!
The Madman Across the Water tried our patience at Reanimated last week on The World Beyond. The drip-drip approach to unveiling the dramatic tension between Elton and Hope is painfully slow and seems to underscore that the show has very little to say about these characters beyond their individual traumatic background flashbacks.
At the same time, the overarching plot of walking from Nebraska to New York is underplayed. The kids have walked across all of Iowa, and remain perfectly coiffed, their clothes and hair are unsoiled. This might work on typical YA audiences, but they have to know that not everyone watching this is 15.
Reanimated still has reservations about TWB. The Blaze of Gory was a lengthy distraction, but the Wrong End of the Telescope did at least play with some interesting cinematography. The characters are developing, but occasionally in a fashion that feels hamfisted. In a society that is traumatized this year, a show about kids dealing with trauma could be good, but will it be?
Jury’s still out on this show for Reanimated but first two episodes are out and we’re committed.
Perhaps there was no way for this finale to rise to the challenge of the extended delay and Reanimated’s own internal hype, but we couldn’t help but walk away from this one a little deflated. Sure, it wrapped up one big arc and replaced it with another and we appreciated that, but some notes just didn’t work as well as we would have hoped.
These two episodes were hot fire! A Strange Case and Meet Me in Daegu both explore themes of otherness and expand on this world of magic that the writers of Lovecraft Country are building block by delicious block. Fun times. Come and hang out with Reanimated while we enjoy this bubble bath of horror.
Alive was fun. I don’t think it’s changing our lives but it feels very much of the moment and therefore it will likely stay with us longer than other films we see for a while.
This week we looked at Lovecraft Country’s A History of Violence which was a Goonies, Indiana Jones fest, but also chock full of so many other plot elements that our heads were spinning. We also dug into the big Walking Dead news that dropped this week. Holy heck!
The episode “Holy Ghost “brings Leticia Lewis into sharper focus on Lovecraft Country and actor Jurnee Smollett proves that she has great range! Leti is a complex character and this episode puts her through the wringer. It’s a lot of fun and hey, there’s ghosts, so come along for the ride!
Reanimated takes a stab at the bulbously packed second episode of Lovecraft Country. We're still into it, but there's at least 10 lbs of crap in this 5 lb bag.
Switching gears yet again on Reanimated when yet another emergency precluded the ability for half of the hosts to finish the book “Survivor Song” by Paul Tremblay. We’ll get to it eventually, promise!
For now, Lovecraft Country is stealing our hearts.
It’s been one thing after another here at Reanimated HQ lately, so, better late than never, we present a double feature of Reality Z and Night of the Living Deb. These are the doldrums of the summer of COVID, y’all, but we’ll get to the other side. pinky sware.
This Belgian "sleaze horror" film throws everything at the wall to what will stick. The result is a bit of a mess, but if you don't think about it too hard, it can be a fun mess.
The Dead Lands continues to entertain Reanimated this week! Next episode we close the loop and we’ll see if the dead will rest in the afterlife.
Reanimated runs through the forests of New Zealand with Waka and Mehe, chasing after “the boy” - wondering all the while why this 6 ft 5 grown-ass man is referred to as a boy by the cast - but no matter. The show continues to entertain, although these episodes suffer from some drag.
Indian miniseries Betaal is the order of business on Reanimated this week. We've now lined Reanimated HQ with turmeric, salt and ash. Listen on for our impressions!
This was the second best Italian zombie movie ever reviewed by Reanimated. The End? had its share of problems - primary of which was the protagonist Claudio was a huge asshole. Listen on for our impressions of The End?!
Reanimated went on a journey with the 2018 German film Endzeit (Ever After) this week. This was more thoughtful zombie fare than we’ve had lately and it definitely took a couple of turns that were unanticipated while the gorgeous cinematography took top prize.
Watching Blood Quantum was a feast for Reanimated. Great cast and amazing first act, the movie had a few hiccups along the way, but overall it was a blast for us to hang out with. Definitely a fresh take on piscine zombies.
We say “see ya later” to Kingdom, but possibly not goodbye? It sure looks like there could be a season three if the South Korean zombie show gets renewed by Netflix. Well they’ll definitely be getting the Reanimated bump, so that should help.
There were a couple of missteps in episodes 2 and 3 of S2 of Kingdom, but Reanimated isn’t altogether deterred. We can hang with a couple of overly prolonged death scenes, because we know there’s mad zombies coming. Also, there was a samurai.
It’s time for awesome hats and medieval Korean zombie action with our recap of Season 2 of Kingdom on Netflix. It took a minute to remember who all these heroes and villains are, but hot dog! what a show.

While it’s not in the same horror league as “Dead Earth,” “The Driver” still manages to entertain once you get past the first act. Once the film settles down into a “Cargo” meets “Thelma and Louise”-style road trip movie, the Dacascoses do great work together. Taken together, these two are part of a cool continuum and Reanimated looks forward to more zombie fare from Wych Kaosayananda.
Our first Thai zombie movie is a steamy slow burn for Reanimated this week. The pros of great attention to zombie survival details are diminished slightly by the choice of set, but the production turns around a fun zombie flick nonetheless.
Reanimated packs up ZOMBOAT! into the canalbarge and bids it bon voyage down river towards whatever fate lies in in or well before Milton Keynes.

The season ends with both a bang and then a whimper after Alpha strikes and the heroes are left picking up the pieces.
Chokepoint and Scars are two very enjoyable episodes that bring us closer to the nutso finale of the season. Strap in!

A solid outing from Season 9 lets us get to know the 'new guys' and takes us in for a closer look at the Whisperers.
The Walking Dead makes some big changes in these two episodes, setting the groundwork for some good story telling.
Season 9 continues as just the ticket to reinvigorate the flagging confidence after Fear the Walking Dead. Angela Kang is changing up the pacing of the meta season story arc and while it can seem accelerated, overall it’s still a good thing.
It’s good to be back in a well-made season of TWD, putting Fear S5 behind us and the endless war between Rick and the Saviors. But it’s not all rainbows and puppers for the gang. Join us on Reanimated as we delve into Season 9.
Survivor Man meets Blair Witch meets zombies. This movie is based on a good recipe and does its darndest, but can quite make it work.
A successful zombie comedy! Though it will not replace Shaun of the Dead in H.A.'s heart, it tickles Reanimated in almost all the right places.
Virginia and her cowboys remain a large unknown, but not in a cool, mysterious way. More in a "we haven't bothered to flesh them out yet" way. Next season is set up to be a long slog with the giant, bloated cast split up in separate camps. Morgan might be dead. I wish he was dead, but the show lacked the balls to finish him off and might swoop in.
Despite the addition of a couple of new characters with good performances and possibly interesting backstories, these two episodes are stinkers. The cast is definitely feeling bloated, the stakes are feeling too low and what drama there is is feeling manufactured. Only a handful of episodes remain to turn the season around.
A seriously disappointing start to the midseason with the showrunners doubling down on Al's camera fixation to help tell a ridiculous story of a guy who puts landmines all around his house, but never tells his family where they are. Also, Morgan and Grace are going to be a thing, but first we'll have to suffer through Morgan getting over his wife and child being dead since season 1 of TWD. Not to suggest that such a loss would be easy, ever, but Morgan has literally seen and been a part of the deaths of like 300 living people by this point on the story, so...
In truth, the less said about Dead Trigger, the direct to VOD Doplh Lundgren zombie flick, the better. However, Reanimated couldn’t leave well enough alone and waded in. Don’t be like us.
FTWD Season 5A wrapped up a week back and Reanimated is pretty ok with how things are working out. Sure the show still suffers from 500% too much walkie talkie and these last two episodes also tended to allow blubbery dialog to take priority over a nuclear meltdown, but hey, at least they’re going to totally deal with the radioactive threat without pulling any punches! … Oh… wait, mm hmm, ok, I’m being told that they seem to be totally downplaying elements of the radioactive threat including Alicia drinking radioactive zombie blood and Morgan’s tainted stick. Whatever!
Al finds her soulmate, and maybe learns to stop filming everything (cross your fingers). Then the gang decides to build an airplane, because you know, they can!
Reanimated says Bah Humbug to some over the top elements in these two episodes but we're still here for FTWD.
FTWD launches this season with a new mission, some determined heroes, big set pieces and still some characters determined to make poor decisions.
Reanimated finished up the first season of Black Summer hoping that more will be coming down the pike.
We passed the halfway mark in Black Summer on this podcast, with episodes Diner and The Heist which were pretty darn strong. Reanimated also chatted about the battle for Winterfell in “The Long Night” episode of Game of Thrones which aired a week ago, so as always watch out for spoilers.

Black Summer continues with some Lord of the Flies action and an episode that makes me tired just watching it. Hats off to Lance. But right after saluting him, we'd slap him in his dumb face for making so many zombie survival mistakes. But then we'd shake his hand and he'd be very confused.

Six episodes into Season 8, the days seem shorter, the nights, colder. Oh it's winter. But still, there's something off.
This is our penance. We must recap Season 8 of The Walking Dead so that we might never have to watch it again. We do this so others don't have to.
It has some frustrating parts but the penultimate episode for Fear the Walking Dead also managed to get some laughs.
Continuing to hammer our way through the pre-mid-season of Fear the Walking Dead, Reanimated gets through a couple of winners with "Laura" and "Just in Case."
Shame about the heavy use of flashbacks in these episodes and HA manages to avoid all the spoilers about Nick somehow.
What a disturbing and yet frothy film. Mom and Dad isn't much of a horror film, but it's got most of the required bits, Reanimated thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Reanimated wraps up the last 2+ hours of FTWD. There are some issues, but overall the strongest total season of the show.
"This Land is Your Land" is a brutal episode of FTWD. We take a look at the way it played out. It was pretty good, definitely left a mark but managed to feature a stupidly long crawl through an air vent that defied belief.
Lots of relationships are put through stress in Episode 12 of Season 3 of FTWD. Walker comes out looking pretty jerky. It's not an action-packed episode but there's a lot of good dialog and character development.

It's zombie-lite but Red Dirt continues season three's attempt to turn the show around for the diminishing audience.

On Reanimated 139 we recapped the mid season premiere of S6, No Way Out, as well as the feel-good The Next World. One good thing about No Way Out - we basically never spend another second of this show or storyline thinking about Pete, Jessie, Ron or Sam, Alexandria's doomed family. A lot of people liked The Next World, but we pan it for being too floofy.
Glenn's miraculous survival is undermined by dull conversations with angsty teenager Enid, the walls fall down and nothing is looking good for Alexandria.

Greetings fair audience members! In their 45th episode Reanimated takes a long, hard look at Resident Evil: Apocalypse, and then wishes they could have taken a much quicker, less hard glance. It's kind of a garbage salad of a movie with a couple of decent scenes, Milla does her thing as admirably as ever but there's only so much one person can do.
Reanimated bid farewell to In the Flesh's second season after episode six, wherein Kieren got his family back - though we never really understood why he'd lost them; Maxine Martin got her comeuppance - though her motives were never really that clear and once they were revealed, seemed unlikely; and Philip and Amy had a nice, weird one day/date/entire relationship with a twist ending! Also, Simon seems like a good dude. Pity he came across so completely skeezy for the first few episodes.
