The holiday season can be filled with celebrations with family and friends.  It's a time to celebrate traditions both new and old.  A time for thinking of others and what we have.

Attitude and those around us help shape who we are and how others view us.

“Culture can help lead others.  Culture can come in all types, shapes, and sizes but it’s most important when we look at how a culture is developed, maintained, and changed.  If a place is known for not having a good or healthy culture, you may tend to stay away from it.  For example, if the culture of a restaurant (maybe the atmosphere) is not the best, you may not return as a customer or ever desire to work there.  But, if a business is known for a really supportive culture which pays their employees well, that would be a place that would generate quite a bit of attention.  This podcast looks deeper into how culture shapes our world”.

“How many times have you been disappointed with customer service recently? Have you left the store or restaurant thinking that you’ll never go back?

Today’s podcast explores how team work and customer service are interrelated. It’s a broad topic that impacts each of us.

Customer service has seemingly been taking a nose dive for the last few years. I attempt to explore why this is and how our teens can help make a difference, starting with themselves.

I explore “team” work with this podcast too. In a smaller group, team work is invaluable to achieving goals. But, I ask whether you have considered our team being our community? How can one individual destroy team work? When a team is running smoothly and everyone is doing their job, the team is unstoppable. Look at major sports champions and look at how they perfected teamwork. Communities are no different. Communities like ours must have everyone working together to make positive changes for everyone. We all know what it feels like when team work fails, or we lose because someone didn’t do their best or do their part. Now, let’s explore this more deeply and consider how much better we can be when everyone is working harder, taking their roles seriously and making each day better!”

This topic is explored by Chief Brandon Standley, Bellefontaine Police Department

Most of us have seen a lost and found container at a store or in school.  Many times, you can find your lost items in one of these central depositories along with many other found items.  What happens though when the discussion about lost and found is about you, or a close friend?  This episode explores the words “lost and found” and how they each mean something so different but often are closely associated with how we live our lives.  This topic is explored by Chief Brandon Standley, Bellefontaine Police Department.
