Grace is the pinnacle of the gospel
By grace we are saved, but to work out our salvation requires us to constantly apply grace to our lives. This is what the Galatians forgot when they began to revert back to the Law and many of us do the same thing. Let us get back to the gospel of grace and tune into Pastor Del's teaching on Galatians.
When we begin to believe in Jesus and live for him, we think that everything else will naturally change. However, sometimes it requires more than just learning how to walk with God. Paul addresses the Galatians with a word on empowering grace, in that He has given us a grace at covers a multitude of sins. The Judaizers might have insisted on a gospel of works, but we know that our salvation is given by grace alone. He relays the fact that apostles are servants and stewards for God. From Paul’s message, we learn that a father needs to be the protector, provider, and priest for the family. It differs from who teachers are, and so we see how vital it is to have fathers in our life. Not only that, by looking at a father’s role in the family, God’s plan for the church is revealed to be more than a business. He designed it to be a family, so that He can be the father who the church needs. What does fatherhood look like to you? Let’s learn to embrace the idea of godly fatherhood.
