This podcast is a detailed look into my journey towards self-improvement as I talk to different people about how they have achieved things in their life or explore elements of popular culture that I wish to emulate in mine. I chose the name Man in the Arena after thinking about my own journey. Being a Man (or Woman) in the Arena, as Theodore Roosevelt says in the related quote, means taking blows but keeping on standing and fighting. I think that truly encapsulates the message of this podcast. Many people release books, movies, or podcasts detailing how they have "made it." Well, this podcast will serve as a video diary of me on my way to "making it." What will the end result be? I'm not sure. But here's to all the men and women in the arena clawing their way to success in life.
Sam once again joins us to talk about his journey to where he is now. We're gonna need a part 3!
Some people have gone through so much adversity that it's impossible to fully understand their experience unless it comes from their own mouth. That being said, I bring you a true Man in the Arena and my brother from another mother, Sam Patterson.
I'm joined with the enigma that is Evan Wordlaw as he takes us on his journey towards living his passion. Maybe our discussion will give you some insight into how to craft yours? But then again, as we will discuss, is passion even a strong enough word? Find out in the second episode of Man in the Arena.
My friend and brother from another, Stefan McCall, joins me to talk about habits in the pilot episode for the Man in the Arena Podcast.
