In this episode I break down the fight between David and Goliath. I draw a correlation between David's journey leading up to the fight and during the fight, and how you can relate these events to your life. We all have our own Goliath to defeat, but most of us try to do it alone. Allow me a moment of your time, and you will be able to conquer your Goliath when its time.
Part 3 is knowing who you are. Point A comes from Matthew 16:1-3, and Jesus explains how we can understand everything of the world, but not God. Point B comes from Matthew 16:5-12 here Jesus warns the disciples about listening to the pharisees and sadducees. Finally in Mathew 16:13-16 Jesus asks the disciples who do people say he is, and who do they think he is. ( I'm reading from the New Living Translation)
Part 2 comes from Matthew Chapter 15. In point A (15:1) Jesus explains how were not defiled by what we put into our mouth, but rather by what we let come out of our mouths. In point B(15:21) Jesus uses the faith of a gentile woman to give an example of how we should humbly come to God ( I'm reading from The New Living Translations)
Part 1 comes from Matthew Chapter 14. I explain how what you do influences peoples opinion of you. Point A comes from (14:13) this is when Jesus feeds more than 5000 people after just finding out John The Baptist had been killed. Point B (14:22) Jesus uses Peter as an example of stepping out on faith. (I'm reading from The New Living Translation)
This episode is an explanation of chapter 15 in the book of Luke in the Bible. Most of us struggle with how the Bible relates to our lives personally. In this episode, I'll attempt to draw the correlation between Jesus's parables and our everyday lives. This chapter talks about three different situations: first a lost sheep, second a lost coin, and third a lost son. I'll touch on all of them, but my main focus will be the son.
