we traveled across the country to watch this game live and jeez oh petes did we pay the price for it! michigan played its friend rutgers this week, won in a dominant fashion, and we lived to tell the tale. sort of.
i promise we actually do talk about football in this episode if you listen reeeeeeeally closely!!!! but mostly we debate important life questions such as the titular "does jim harbuagh wear cleats to mow the lawn" and "would blake corum be able to score a touchdown from the 2 yard line against a defensive line of 100 harleys" and other important questions that they should cover in philosophy 101

Michigan men's basketball got the win over in-state rival Michigan State, the Spartans first game back after tragedy struck their community. We love you MSU. The men's team had some celebs in the house. Spoiler it's the 10 year anniversary of the 2012-2013 Michigan men's basketball team. The women look forward to a conclusion of their regular season. Sorry for the abrupt ending, we were really horsing around.

michigan kicked sparty's booty on the field this weekend!!!! we discuss michigan's win and room for growth. we also have a more serious conversation about the violence in the tunnel after the game. specifically, we discuss how much of the coverage and clickbait about the assault in the tunnel has been harmful and irresponsible from both sides. we then preview rutgers!!!
note/kinda a disclaimer: our discussion about the violence in the tunnel is a RESPONSE to conversations and media coverage we've seen. we don't spend much time discussing the incident itself, mostly because we don't have much to add to that conversation. it was obviously violent and shocking and bad, and you probably know that by now, so our convo is about how to discuss violent/shocking/bad events without perpetuating further harm. it's a conversation about conversations (very meta)

Hannah and Harley are BACK for football season, and we are so excited! In this episode, we catch you up on everything you need to know going into Michigan's 2019 football season. We offer a crash course on all the players to watch, fill you in on what we're most excited for and nervous about, and give our hottest takes going into the season.
WE GOT FRANZ!!!!! And we're very excited about it. We talk about how this impacts the upcoming basketball season and why it makes our hearts so happy. The Summer League is vibing and people in the NBA are talking about Iggy and they actually mean Iggy and not like Iggy. Shea Patterson's tweet was fake but we wish it was real. We are kind of excited about football. Kind of. And, in honor of the ESPYs, we gave out our own awards, tentatively named the VIEWSYs.
6/29/2019: han was in the woods so we had to relive the last two weeks not in the woods but in tisch hall. on all our minds and hearts is michigan baseball. WOW! then of course the two of us had to discuss our favorite night of the year: the nba draft, mostly the outfits and who could claim the best dressed superlative. oh yeah michigan football had so many recruits. WOW! dj's insta strikes back.
We finally have ANSWERS as to why the Michigan baseball team travels in Hawaiian shirts!! Also Michigan baseball is in the College World Series and Harley watched a full baseball game. Charles Matthews tore his ACL and we love Charles Matthews. The NBA draft is next week!!! Also, Justin Bieber wants to fight Tom Cruise, D.J. Wilson has been like reeeally vibing his Instagram edits, Hannah may or may not be a 4th gen guacamole maker, and we have a lot of really good superlatives.
5/31/2019: Our thoughts on the Juwan Howard press conference and the (lack of a) possibility of the banners going back up!! Michigan basketball coaching changes and recruiting news. The baseball team wore Hawaiian shirts. Will we have to tailgate all day for the Middle Tennessee State game?? We need to discuss D.J. Wilson's Instagram edits. The Hauser brothers broke up and we're heartbroken. And also the worst segment of all time that once again involves a Barbie book.
5/23/2019: Our reactions to Juwan Howard as Michigan men basketball's head coach!!! Also other Michigan sports updates, D.J. Wilson updates, bring back two-stick popsicles, NBA updates, and of course another installment of our Michigan football story.
5/18/2019: For the first week in forever we actually have a lot of news to cover and we're just NOT happy about it! Luckily for you guys we're still committed to having fun, so Harley wrote a poem about John Beilein and it literally rhymes. We give our takes on John Beilein and our predictions for the next head coach, plus updates with next year's basketball recruiting class. For the first time ever in the history of the world, it's a breath of fresh air to talk about football instead of basketball because we have good news there! Fun updates on Iggy, Jordan, and Charles Matthews in the NBA combine, a discussion of the NCAA potential rule change, Harley's brother Ben's sports updates, some breaking news (including a story of Hannah and Harley's MOEment), a D.J. Wilson update, and, of course, a fairytale about Josh Metellus because what podcast is complete without that.
Brandon Peters has entered the transfer portal!! Speaking of Brandon Peters, we introduce the Brandon Power Rankings so make sure to listen to hear the consensus #1 Brandon (can you guess it??). Football is still in South Africa, so we focus on basketball because Iggy, JP, and Charles were all invited to the NBA combine!! The Kentucky Derby happened and Tom Brady didn't just kind of wear a hat, he REALLY wore at hat. We discuss what we would name a race horse (examples: Deflategate, Jim HarNEIGH, Jumbo Shrimp, and many, many, many more). Devin Bush's suit would have fit right in at the Met Gala. We have a much-needed rant about Ayesha Curry and all of the bros on Twitter who say they "can't trust women" because of her comments on Red Table Talk. PLUS some more segments including a brand-new seg at the very end that might be our best seg yet....no spoilers tho.
5/3/2019: After a quick bye week, Han and Harley are back on HARLEY'S BIRTHDAY to talk about the NFL draft (including Devin Bush's outfit), Jordan Poole leaving the NBA, and more!! We discuss our thoughts on the Michigan players in the NFL, why Rashan Gary got emotional in a bowling alley, and the cutest moments of the NFL draft. Jordan Poole wore a turtleneck. Again. Michigan football vibed to South Africa....bye!! We go over some other sports news, a DJ Wilson update, the Fail List, and a quick synopsis of Harley's birth. Also Hannah's apartment is haunted- hear proof in real time!
4/20/2019: The Michigan men's basketball team has TOO MUCH DRIP and we are unworthy of rooting for them. We go into depth analyzing their outfits at the banquet and try to process the reality that we root for the best-dressed team in the wold. We also talk about Charles Matthews officially leaving and give some updates on the status of Iggy and JP. Lots of recruiting updates, Han doesn't understand why the Hauser brothers are a package deal. We finally explain why we claim to hate football, why we hate when the football team high fives, and some spring game notes. Finally, we talk about more sports news like MSU's alternative football uniforms being the ugliest thing in the world, how Zion's gender reveal dunk was so weird and nobody's talking about it, and a special segment in honor of the birthday of our dude (???) Baker Mayfield.
4/12/19: Harley went to the Final 4!! She relays her experience of the weekend as a UVa fan and therefore a fan of a championship winning team. (Can't relate.) We discuss the preseason basketball rankings, our thoughts about Iggy, JP, and Charles testing the waters of the NBA draft (we miss them already...this is so sad...), and go over some other sports stuff. 4/6/19: Our first week without Michigan football or basketball and honestly, but it's okay because we have Michigan track & field record holder Bailey Baker on the podcast!!!! So stick around to the end for our interview with Bailey. Also: We discuss the Final Four and everything March Madness, Michigan football's social media propaganda tour (they like reeeally want us to love them), the best April Fools day pranks (Tom Brady and Justin Bieber????) (also is April Fools day April 1st or 2nd?), and we reminisce on the AAF...gone but never forgotten.
3/30/2019: Michigan basketball's season might be over but @Michigan_Onesie IS ON THE PODCAST!! We recap the Texas Tech loss and talk about how sad we are. We also reminisce on the season, share our favorite memories, and look forward to next season. We discuss who we're pulling for now that Michigan's out (go [vacated], beat State!!!), Harley gets mad at Hannah for being a secret Duke fan, we give superlatives for the whole season, and give this week's #FailList. Also we try to talk about baseball. Are we a baseball podcast now? And then...of course... we immerse ourselves in the true Onesie Guy experience by riding on a bus to North Campus with him and asking him everything you've EVER wanted to know in a super fun Q&A.

We talk about national sports news, Hannah announces which NFL team she's rooting for next year, Harley explains the world in college basketball, we pledge our eternal love to the month of March till death do us part and then we go over this week's #FailList, Han reads her latest installment of the fanfiction and it gets weird (Mark Dantonio is still transformed into a squirrel and Mark Donnal may or may not have an evil twin)
