Some refer to marijuana as an herb and confirm the use of marijuana through biblical scriptures. But most of all what appears to be making this drug more attractive is the impact or ability to boost the economy. It was alcohol after prohibition now it is marijuana’s turn to become legally common place. Is the demand for marijuana indicative of our desire to use? Does this ideology debase the sexual experience? If the sexual experience is debased the individuals engaging in the sexual experience are debased. Are women attempting to compete with men behaving poorly or is this ideology a form of mentally masking or coping with their promiscuous behavior? Is this experience an attempt to achieve power by domination and copulation?

MEET MAMA YEYE
Mama Yeye was born and raised in St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands! Her spiritual background began with my matriarchal linage of herbalist and spiritualist on both sides of my family. She had training in herbs began with her mother Elmira Farrell and her spiritual training began with a maternal great aunt, named Caroline E. Thomas and many members of her extended family unit whose names are too numerous to mention here.
Mama Yeye says she give thanks and praises to all of our ancestors for without them, we would not be. Her first initiation was in 1991 into the order of Palo Mayombe as Yayi Nkizi (Mother of Spirits) to Mama Chola and Lucero by my late Tata Bisuako, in Miami, Fl. In 1999 she became initiated into Lukumi to Orisa Oshun Ibu Kole and Ogun, Alagbede by Iya Alabumi but was instructed by Ita to follow the Traditional route to Orisa, and she relocated back to the islands.
In 2000, Mama Yeye returned to St. Thomas and started by business that she still runs today of Traditional Healing, providing spiritual readings, cleanings and guidance to those on their spiritual paths. In 2001 she received first initiation to Ifa by Babalawo Osasee in Puerto Rico and received Ifa odu, Osa Ose, the same as her Oluwo but this relationship did not last long as it was a Lukumi Ifa house as well.
In 2010,Mama Yeye made connection with Babalawo Oyasogo Ifakorede of Ajitena Temple, Oyo Nigeria and has been working with him and all the Babalawos and Iyanifawos since then. As a result of these undertakings, she received a Chieftancy title of Erelu Abiye in the Ajitena Temple Ogboni Miami branch under Olowo Fakayode.

Happy New Year 2014! YHOW gives thanks to the Great Mother Goddess for setting us free to live our power. The first Hour of Power show is dedicated to my Personal Egun! Iba ye Mabel Dawson, my mother, my Queen Mother, and an original Queen of Hearts member. Her life is my inspiration and she was my first teacher. Beautiful loving mother, sister and best friend shared the lessons of her life with her daughters. In honor of her memory, I share with you her and my other writings about her. As mother and grandma to her many grandchildren she was real and down to earth, no nonsense community mother and grandmother of all who entered her world. Mom had the deep love of Osun and the capacity to love all the children like Yemaya. My mother loved Mother Mary McLeod Bethune because she uplifted the lives of poor black people and she shared that vision of African American doing better with me. HRU has been working with the spirit world through various indigenous native systems for over 20 years as a spiritual counselor and guide. He is also the Chief Priest and temple head of “ANU Nation”; where he has initiated a cadre of students into Orisha tradition as well as his own ANU Spiritual Order and currently teaches indigenous occult and mystery systems, African philosophy and spiritual sciences, and divination to adults as well as children through his school, “The Sadulu House Spiritual Center.”

O.k., so i'm Puerto Rican, i was born in Los Angeles, most of grade school in Puerto Rico where I was introduced to the religion as practiced there. My father was a healer and my mother a medium. We lived in a City which was known as "La Ciudad de los Brujos" - "the city of the witchdoctors." But when we moved back to the states my parents pretty much left the religion behind. I did other things for spiritual connectivity. When I moved to Gainesville Florida in 1998 to start grad school, I met a brother who practiced "traditional" but actually it was more Oyotunji mix. What appealed to me the most at the time was the early warning system and technology to stay on path. I was initiated into Ifa by awo Falokun Fatunmbi in May 2011 after about five years of having the first hand. I have two daughters, ages 6 and 12. I have gotten the nickname 'Papa Gallina" - Daddy Hen, cuz I spend a lot of time with my girls and am very protective. I teach English at a college in Miami. I used to be a carpenter/contractor, but broke my back. Each week we will have different guests to discuss issues related to Ifa

I did other things for spiritual connectivity. When I moved to Gainesville Florida in 1998 to start grad school, I met a brother who practiced "traditional" but actually it was more Oyotunji mix. What appealed to me the most at the time was the early warning system and technology to stay on path. I was initiated into Ifa by awo Falokun Fatunmbi in May 2011 after about five years of having the first hand. I have two daughters, ages 6 and 12. I have gotten the nickname 'Papa Gallina" - Daddy Hen, cuz I spend a lot of time with my girls and am very protective. I teach English at a college in Miami.
