We were made to worship, and we all do worship - either the creation or the Creator. Don't settle for worshipping the things of the world. Come and hear the gospel message which leads us to worship, in spirit and truth, the one true God.
In the story of Peter's vision of eating unclean food, we see how the gospel of Christ saves undeserving men and changes the prejudice in our hearts.
The story of Paul's conversion, as amazing as it was, is no different from our own. We too were saved by grace alone, through an act of surrender, moved from darkness to light, received a new family, and now identify with Christ. If you have yet to experience such redemption, come and taste God's word this Sunday.
Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus was a dramatic display of God's grace. Let us recognize that God's salvation of each of us is a profound story. Come and hear the amazing story of how God saves sinners like you and me.
In our passage today, we see how Philip explained who Christ was to the Ethiopian eunuch much like Christ had explained His death and resurrection to the disciples on the road to Emmaus. Come and let God's word speak to you this blessed Easter Sunday.
The story of Simon the magician in Acts 9 is puzzling. What can we glean from it? Come and hear Pastor Mull this Sunday. We're all in a battle and need to guard our own hearts. We should pray for others, both those who are in Christ, and especially those who don't know Him.
Our message picks up today right after Stephen's death, where Christians continue to be persecuted. But then we see something remarkable; this same persecution becomes the wind that blows the Gospel seed to new soil and produces a new harvest. Philip was one of those faithful seed bearers.
Stephen boldly proclaimed who Jesus was before the high priests. His defense resulted in his death by stoning, but it also resulted in an incredible victory for the gospel message. What a challenge for us all!
The story of Stephen in Acts 6 tells of a man used by God in an incredible way to share the truth about Jesus. He was empowered by God to perform great wonders and signs, to speak to his accusers with wisdom and grace, and to endure his trial to the very end. Come and hear this amazing story!
In Acts 5, we see Peter and the apostles beaten for preaching the gospel. Their response? They rejoiced that they were counted as worthy to suffer dishonor for the name of Jesus. And so what is our calling as believers? That through the word of our testimonies, we too may suffer with joy, overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and do it all for the glory of God!
In this week's sermon, we see God using an angel to free the apostles from prison - the very prison the religious leaders had put them in for teaching about Jesus. And what do they do when freed? Immediately return to teaching the people in the temple. The religious leaders were more than a little perplexed!
In Acts 5, we see God's glory revealed to the early through miraculous healings. The people knew the poverty of their sin and came before the Lord seeking pure hands and a pure heart. Are we also broken over our sin? Are we willing to go humbly before Him and receive forgiveness and healing?
In our passage from Acts 5, we see a stark contrast between Barnabas, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and Ananias and Saphira, whose hearts were filled with hypocrisy and deceit. Their end result reminds us that we worship a holy God, and we must never minimize sin.
The early church was marked by unity, power, grace, and generosity. As Christians today, we are called to do the same. If we love one another, the world will know that we are Christ's disciples.
In Peter's second sermon in Acts 3, he admonishes his audience to humble themselves, realize who Jesus really was, admit their guilt, repent of their sins, and realize the future hope that awaits them. And so we too need to hear those very same admonishments today.
Peter's sermon in Acts 3 shows how we can be refreshed through repentance and renewing of our minds. Are you going through a dry season? Are you thirsty? Come and hear how God forgives and refreshes us.
The story of Esther shows God working behind the scenes for His glory and the good of His people. The Christmas story has a parallel theme with God taking on flesh to dwell among us, and then giving His life as a ransom for all who believe in Him so that we can have eternal life. In Acts 3, we see Peter and John being used by God to heal a man lame from birth. The story offers a testimony of God's power and grace, and how He uses obedient vessels to extend love to hurting people.
In Acts 2 we see that a healthy church meets together regularly, displays unity and generosity, shares the gospel with others, and has a sense of awe at God's working in their lives. We pray that First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms would be just such a church.
A healthy church is devoted to prayer. Come and hear how we are to pray, what should be our goal in praying, and what results we can expect from a praying church.
The third vital sign of a healthy church is remembering the importance of breaking bread together. Communion brings us together around the body of Christ and His substitutionary sacrifice on the cross. It also reminds us that we are in this struggle together, and as a body of believers, encourages us to fight for one another's faith in Jesus.
One feature of a healthy church is fellowship with one another. But what does that exactly mean? Come and hear as Pastor Mull continues the series on Vitals of a Healthy Church from Acts chapter two.
In Acts Chapter 2, we see an example of a healthy church. We see a people devoted to God's word, not only knowing it but also doing it. Come and join with us as we meet together around the Word this Sunday at First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms.
Peter preached a message of repentance to the crowd at Pentecost. The people were convicted of their sin, felt sincere regret for what they had done, and as a result 3,000 were saved. Come and hear this incredible story.

In Acts 2, we find the disciples waiting for God's promise of the Holy Spirit. At this time, they learned to trust God through the pain of waiting. There is always purpose in the pain of our lives. We too must go through times of testing and often by waiting. But know that God’s timing is always perfect.
Would you like to know how to make godly decisions? In this passage from Acts, we see the disciples illustrate godly decision making when they select Matthias to replace Judas. Our decisions too should be guided by obeying God's revealed will, seeking godly advice from fellow believers, praying, following scripture, and using sanctified common sense.
In this introduction to the book of Acts, we see that Christians have the power of the Holy Spirit living inside us, just as Christ's disciples did. And just as God sent His disciples out to proclaim His salvation, we too are to be used in a powerful way to testify of God's saving love.
Paul closes out his amazing letter to the church in Ephesus by admonishing us to love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love. How do we get such love for Christ? Come and hear how God wants us to dig deep roots into His plan, power and perfect love for us.
Solomon closes his temple dedication prayer with a blessing on the people. He does this by remembering what God has done for His people and by so doing, Solomon blesses God. In a similar way, we too can pray a prayer of blessing by remembering how God keeps His promises to us, and for His presence and power in our lives.
Solomon's prayer of dedication of the temple is a model prayer. As the Church, we want to come before the Lord in heart-felt repentance, thanking Him for his faithfulness and seeking His forgiveness and justice in our lives.
Jehoshaphat was in a desperate situation. He prayed to God for deliverance, and God answered his prayer in a mighty way. Jehoshaphat's prayer provides a model for us to pray when we too find ourselves in despair. Come and hear how God is faithful and is able to provide deliverance for His people.
The Apostle Paul prayed an amazing prayer for his people in the first chapter of Colossians. Come and learn what this prayer means and how to pray it for yourself and others, so that we too can grow in God's grace, be filled with His knowledge, and walk in a manner worthy of our Lord.
What does God's word say about heaven? Is it a real place? Come and hear a message from the Bible that describes what heaven is like, and also, the reality of hell. Most importantly, come and hear how to trust Christ and know that your eternal destiny is with God in heaven.

In today's sermon, we will see examples of the power of prayer. Although there are no limitations on the scope of our prayers, we are called to pray in the Spirit and according to the will of God. But how do we know the will of God? It is found in the word of God.
As a review of our continued study on the Helmet of Salvation, there are 2 major themes...Salvation and Sanctification. We have completed the attributes associated with Salvation. Today we will turn our focus to Sanctification...a process that will continue from today and until the day we are called to Heaven.
This Easter Sunday come and hear the good news of salvation. Those of us in Christ have been justified by faith, redeemed from the slavery of sin, and have had God's wrath completely satisfied by His sacrifice on the cross. This is good news indeed!
The helmet of salvation is right thinking about who God is and how he works in our lives. Knowing the truth of God's word protects us from the lies of Satan. We can marvel at the fact that we have been saved, are being saved, and will be saved by grace, through faith, and for good works.
Living out our faith can sometimes be scary. We experience doubt, anxiety, fear; but God can use these times in our lives to strengthen us and purify our faith. Be encouraged by today's message to pick up the shield of faith and act on the truth of God's word.
Biblical faith is rooted in God's truth, not our feelings. To act in faith, we must first know truth. And so we exercise faith in our lives as we act on God's word. Come and hear today's message where we learn what it means to take up the shield of faith.

Continuing our study of the Full Armor of God; specifically the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace, we saw that peace "WITH" God brings the peace "OF" God. By putting on the shoes of peace, it provides us ways to live out the Peace of God in an otherwise unpeaceful, and sometimes aggressive world...especially towards God's children. Come let us learn more from God's word.
As we descend from our 30,000 ft view of the whole armor of God, we will now get a closer look at each piece of armor. This morning we're talking about the Belt of Truth; what it is and how to use it. For it does us no good to have the correct tool if you don't know how to use it.

Being a father is one of the hardest things we can be. With short rewards, but long lasting consequences, we want to ensure we do it right. Satan knows the best way to destroy God's design is from within; starting with the family, at it's foundation.
So, how do we ensure our home is built on a firm foundation. And how do we build it to stand the evil forces of this world? The Apostle Paul gives us the architectural blueprint, the instructions. We just need to follow it.

In Ephesians, the Apostle Paul tells us that God's wrath is poured out on those who walk in darkness. In contrast, the people of God are to walk in light. Come and hear how we, as Christians, can act differently, talk differently, and walk in such a way that our life reflects our position in Christ.
From last week, Paul commanded us to imitate God, and gave us examples to follow.
This week Paul goes further and tells us what not to do.
So that we know the difference, Paul is going to give us the pattern of the world that we
should not live like as well. He starts off with a list of three sins that must not be named
among the people of God. Come and see what they are.
Doesn't it warm your heart to see children imitate their parents; "little parrots" we jokingly say. And yet, this is exactly what the scriptures tell us to do? WHAT??? Let's find out what the Apostle Paul had to say about this very behavior (FBCBF's Vision: "...to be like Christ everywhere, every day.)
It is when we understand that God has given us the Person of the Holy Spirit to live inside of us, to give us the strength, the comfort, the leadership we need to live like Christ - everywhere, everyday.
In this message, the Apostle Paul continues to build God's kingdom by teaching the disciples & those Christians in Ephesus that as our hearts have been changed through the power of God thru the Holy Spirit, then that should change the way we life, the way we talk, and the way we treat one another.
How do we thwart the Devil's schemes? How do we show the world that we have been transformed by God? In Ephesians 4, the Apostle Paul tells us to speak truthfully, control our anger, shun evil, and work to such an extent that we can share with others in need. What does it mean to put on Christ? What it doesn't mean is to simply learn ABOUT Jesus as an academic topic. Rather, we learn HIM, that is, we develop a relationship with Christ as a person. As Christians, we have been adopted into the family of God, we have a new Father, a new identity, a new story, and a new way to live!

Although Peter denied knowing Jesus, Jesus still pursued Peter to lead His flock of believers.
We may feel or have felt just like Peter at some point. Let us not shrink in our calling, but come out of hiding to live a blessed life because of Jesus.

Once united as a body, how do we grow to be "MORE" like Christ; to mature as a person and as the church body? The Word tells us God's design for each of us...as members as well as leadership. Let's examine that design today!
Today we'll look at the gifts given to us who are in Christ to provide unity in the body of the church.
God creates unity in us thru our relationship with Christ and the Holy Spirit, but we are called,
commanded even, to keep the unity of the Spirit. Unity built on anything other than Bible truth is standing on a very shaky foundation. Paul names here the seven spiritual realities or principles that unite all true Christians.
As Christians, we pray to an all powerful, all knowing God. Take confidence that God hears our prayers and is able to answer them. The purpose of prayer is to bring glory to God. Come and hear how we can end our prayers with a song of doxology and an affirmation: So be it!
The good news goes out to the whole world. Hear the story of how Peter learned to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those he considered outsiders. Do we need to examine our own traditions and prejudices to reach a lost world?
Is the love of God real in your life right now? Is the majesty of God’s glory motivating you to grow in your love of God? Are you passionate about your love for God and His people?
Come and hear how Christ can dwell in our hearts through faith and how we can be rooted and grounded in the love of God.
Come and hear how to focus our prayers on God's Kingdom and the spiritual condition of the inner man. See that when we bow our hearts and wills to the Lord and ask Him for spiritual blessings, He meets our physical needs too. What should our heart attitude be during prayer? Humble gratitude, humble desperation, and humble confidence.
"Manifold Wisdom" - God's wisdom takes on many forms, and the church as a multi-racial, multi-cultural worldwide community is part of his magnificent plan. What does that mean, and specifically how does it involve the church; you and I? LET"S FIND OUT TOGETHER!
Let us NOT be casual in the way we view Jesus. Let's be reminded of the magnitude of who He is and what He has done for us. Let us not give God our leftovers and think He is okay with it, but let us give Him our very best.
Today, we'll go thru just a few of the many scriptures that describe His magnificence and why we should honor Him with our lives in everything we think, say, or do.

As Christians, we are to go into the world, but always going with the right message. We must understand the message of Christ and then follow His will in our lives. Come and hear how to share the true gospel message with others.
Jesus Christ came for ALL nations. Now, as followers of Christ, what is our calling? To live godly lives, in unity with each other, with humility and gentleness, glorifying God. But how? Only by God's grace.
Through faith we receive the Spirit of God, a new nature, and become reconciled to Himself. Regardless of national background, we are now fellow citizens of heaven, members of the same family of God, and built on the cornerstone of Christ Jesus.
A life without Christ is a life separated from God. But the divide between God and man was bridged by Christ's death on the cross. Come celebrate Christ's resurrection from the grave, which proves that He conquered sin and reconciled us to God.
Are you separated from Christ? Without hope? God offers us amazing grace. And also we can become unified with one another through Christ.
Faith is not a work, it is a gift from God. We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. Come and here how we are saved by grace and how we can please God through good works.
God shows His great love toward us through His grace and mercy. Even while we were still sinners Christ died for us. We have been made alive together with Christ and seated with Him in the heavenly places. Hear the good news. Share the good news.
What is our state apart from Christ? We are dead in our trespasses and sins and are by nature children of wrath. But don't just be the way you were. Hear the good news: God, being rich in mercy, loved us and made us alive with Christ. Do you know that you are a child of God?
Come and hear how you can have a deep hope in Christ, no matter what you are going through in your life today. Hear how to experience Christ as you live life in His presence, and how to bow down your heart to the Lordship of Christ over your life.
His greatness extends to us in the form of love, redemption, and the power to testify to the rest of the world; to be His witnesses. Let us find out how!
Have you been marked by Christ? Is His seal on your life? If so, you can be reassured that we have the down payment and one day Jesus is coming back to take us to receive our heavenly inheritance.
Redemption, the ultimate destination for those who have accepted Jesus as Savior and LORD. We have to first understand what is ultimate before we can focus in on what is immediate. And if we can understand
what is ultimate we will be able to deal with the issues of life in light of what is ultimate. God has a plan, and He knows how to make all things right. We just need to be patient and keep groaning for Him to come back and for our hope to become our reality. COME & SEE!
God's glory is manifested in our redemption. What does the idea of God redeeming us from sin, both our own sin, and the sin that has been committed against us look like? What does all of this mean for you and I today?

As we have finished the Gospel of John, we saw all that God has done for us through Christ, and to save us from sin, the Evil One, and Hell. How God, being rich in mercy, saved us... a people who didn’t think we needed saving, who rejected Him, killed Him, and still He loved us before we ever loved Him.
Today, we are going to start the book of Ephesians, which is a letter from the Apostle Paul to the church in
Ephesus, a book that has the power to transform our understanding of the Gospel, and transform the way we view the rest of the world around us. LET'S START!
As we end our study in John, John clears up any confusion with clear communication concerning our calling, and this is what we must strive to do as well. You and I will be misunderstood, but we must strive to clearly communicate God’s Word, in our words and our actions. What is it we should do?
As followers of Jesus, it is a travesty to live life as usual. It is possible to be saved in Christ and live a wasted life for Christ. As we begin 2023, will we live life as usual, going through life with no thought to eternity and judgment, or will we humble ourselves and obey Him by reaching out to others with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ? Let's hear what scripture has to say...

Love costs. There are no discounts in following Christ. It is just as costly now as it was 2,000 years ago. What does Jesus ask of us? Let's find out if we measure up?
See how Jesus restores a broken relationship with Peter. Learn how we can be reconciled with God through Jesus. The Lord restores us and calls us to be fully committed to Him.
Here's the challenge John makes --- Do you believe Jesus is God’s Son who has come to save you from your sins, and are you willing to make Him Lord of your life? If He is not Lord of All, He is not Lord AT ALL!
Jesus has risen; He has risen indeed! NOW, go tell the world of the offer of salvation, love, & acceptance He has for them!
Jesus’ death stirred open and unashamed commitment!
As Jesus surrendered himself, so should we be courageous to surrender ourselves;
Courageous to make an unashamed commitment to Christ.
Courageous to risk it all for Christ, even if it costs us our position, esteem, wealth, or life.
Courageous to unashamedly care for the body of Christ, the church and it’s mission on Earth!
Courageous to be an unashamed witness for Christ, no matter the cost.
"It is finished", "it is done", "the debt has been paid", prophecies have been fulfilled. All of these sayings are true because of the Glory of the Cross.

Learn how to draw on the Love of Christ thru the power of the Cross. It is in the Cross that we find our self-importance, our affirmation, and value. It will change the way we parent, interact with our spouses & people in our community.
Sin is an insurrection of our hearts against God's rule of our lives. Don't coward to the demands of the world. Don't cave in to doing what you know is wrong. Don't evade your responsibilities. Don't be that guy, but then know that you are.
As Pilate questions Jesus, he asks "What is truth?". He fails to recognize that he is before the very essence of Truth. We must live our lives in God's Kingdom, not the world's system.
The public drama of redemption is about to begin. Man will do his worst, and God will respond with His very best. Romans 5:20 - “But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound”. Jesus has just prayed for His disciples and the future disciples to be protected, and now Jesus would show us His power to do just that.
Unity - Jesus is praying here is that we would have the same unity as the Trinity, who exist as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit and for eternity has existed in perfect unity, where they willingly honor each other, and submit to each other, and value One another as to make much of the others. Jesus is asking that we would have that same unity and love for one another. one another.
Hear how Christ prays for his disciples; be encouraged to manifest God's name in our own lives and live in unity with our fellow believers.
Come and hear what Christ prayed to his Father in the upper room. See how we can reveal God's glory through our own prayers and lives.
You can have hope even in hopeless situations, because the One who has overcome this world is living in you!
Truly, truly I say to you that you will weep and mourn, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy!
Jesus with us is good, but the Holy Spirit, the same as Jesus in us is better. The Holy Spirit will help us, comfort us, and guide us into all Truth, He will be with us forever.
If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
Jesus is the True Vine & we are the branches. Are you being fruitful? Is your life producing the character of Jesus in your life and are you helping lead others to Christ? Come and learn how to abide in Him and be fruitful!
Jesus said....“If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him."
In the midst of a very uncertain time, in the midst of broken trust, Jesus gives His disciples the place where their trust must be firmly planted. We are going to look at how to keep your way even during the hardest days.
How do we allow God to mature us? We know it is the Spirit of God that matures us, but how does it happen in our lives practically? Today we look at the extreme confidence that comes to us when we know we are in God’s family.
School is over...or is it? Be courageous and take this 8 question test about yourself and your walk with God. Come and Hear what the Lord has for us this Sunday!

Round 3 of Paul continuing his defense of his authority in opposition to these “super apostles” who were coming into the church and drawing people away for the Lord.
- Suffering takes us back to the beginning.

We are going to see how ministry is so dependent on the power of God and the power of the Word of God. We are going to see what has to happen in order for real ministry to take place. We are going to see the road of ministry, or what connects us for the Lord to minister in and through us. We are going to see the fuel of ministry.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God.”
Only the love of Christ as it was poured out on the Cross is enough to keep us on fire for the Lord day in and day out, month in, month out, year after year.
