Two lifelong fans, Mike & Jon, skateboard headlong into Springfield Gorge and talk about every episode of The Simpsons. The podcast equivalent of a Duff-less night at Moe's. It's a pet shop now. Just remember, baby turtles and alligators may seem like a cute idea for a pet... but they grow up.
HEY HEYYYYYY! Mike & Jon are back to doing what they do best, which is discussing Simpsons episodes in far too much detail. This is also a damning indictment on their lives in general. This time around, the lads stop hating on Martin Prince quite so much (Sherri & Terri still suck, though), have (almost) stopped saying 'formative', and sing the praises of the classic episode, 'Bart Gets an 'F''.
Before they crack on with watching the (assumed) brilliance of Season Two, Mike & Jon take a brief trip down memory lane to drink some beers, reflect on the highs and lows of their investigation of Season One of The Simpsons and ramble on inanely. It's been... interesting.
For the season finale, the lads trade audio quality for the joys of huddling around a single potato... sorry, Blue Yeti (on ebay if anyone's interested). 'Some Enchanted Evening' indeed. This week, Mike & Jon discuss the behind-the-scenes chaos that led to a chaotic, bipolar but pretty enjoyable episode. We drink some beers, discuss the horror of Ms. Botz, praise the wholesomeness of Moe (Moelsomeness?), and ponder a Springfield without the Simpson/Samson family.
That's it, you people have stood in my way long enough! I'm going to clown college. This week, your humble circus freaks... er, Mike and Jon, discuss 'Krusty Gets Busted'. Sideshow Bob takes a star turn, Apu's ultraviolence comes under the microscope, and Mike scares the living Jebus out of Jon within the first 23 seconds. As we approach the end of season one, your seasoned hosts ask; Would we still love The Simpsons if it was new today?
Your boys can't be succinct. We suck. We're scum. This week, Mike and Jon simply can't shut the hell up about 'The Crepes Of Wrath'. I'm sorry, animators of The Simpsons, Mike still won't drop the house thing. Also, he STILL won't put his recorder on a flat surface and not touch the damn thing for the duration of the recording. Meanwhile, Jon's got a freaking universe theory AND a rival Fact Of The Week, to complement his unspeakably awful voice. Saddle up, comrades.
Get your tinfoil hats on, folks, because Mike's got a theory. A theory so bonkers, so crazy, so out there, that it might just work... it's 2020, after all. Anything can happen. Meanwhile, ya boiz discuss 'Homer's Night Out', and ask all the big questions; Is Princess Kashmir a cold-blooded killer? Is Carl Flanders? Is Lenny Moe? Was the Squid Platter(extra tentacles) a wise move? Another epic undertaking. Best of luck.
This week, Mike & Jon grab 'Life On The Fast Lane' by the balls and go completely spare trying to pick up that 5-7-10 split. The fellas ponder the bizarre metamorphosis of the Simpsons' home, whether Jacques is a serial killer, and ask the question; Is PB & J is an acceptable lunch? Mike's got trivia aplenty, Jon fails to do a french accent and there's a dazzling vocal performance for the ages to round things off.
In this triumph of quantity over quality, Mike and Jon saw the head off ol' Jeb in celebration of a happy return to form. The discussion of 'The Telltale Head' sees ya boiz revel in background details, give the angry mob some sweet loving, and make a ham-fisted attempt at tackling the numerous issues surrounding Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. Meanwhile in the feature (if anyone could possibly make it that far), the lads rip into their own foibles and wilfully compare themselves to Springfield's wackiest weirdos. Quite an undertaking. We promise that the next episode will be under an hour*.

All aboard Enron's Ride Of Broken Dreams! After last week's rollercoaster of emotion and episodic brilliance, Mike & Jon return to the poorhouse and throw an undeserved spotlight on 'The Call Of The Simpsons'. Spoiler alert: It stinks worse than a skunk slaughterhouse nestled amongst a turkey farm. Mike suggests some simple improvements, Jon forgets to take his allergy tablets, and the lads Stan the hell out of some of their all-time favourite episodes.
This week, your intrepid hosts get hit right in the feels, and reflect on a real tear-jerker - 'Moaning Lisa'. We discuss The Simpsons' socio-political awareness, the horrendous state of the world generally, and Springfield's bizarre geography. Mike also gets an unsolicited and delightfully cruel theme song, and the lads learn some new adjectives.

This time the troops are waging war on 'Bart The General', displaying exceptional ignorance on American military history in the process. There's more new characters, some juicy trivia, and an exploration of some favourite bit-part/big-lolz players. Keep both arms inside the bus at all times, please.
Oh baby oh momma it's a long one. We'll get a handle on the ramble at some stage... Maybe. This week, Mike & Jon absolutely rail on Season 1 Episode 4 - 'There's No Disgrace Like Home', because it's weird as hell. There's philosophical musings, wild theories and an amazing observation from Eagle Eye Mikey. So grab your TV dinner and a gelatine dessert, and commence shovelling.
The fellas venture fearlessly into the nerd abyss, discussing "Homer's Odyssey". Character evolution gets the spotlight, along with the introduction of a whole bunch of new faces, and generally way too much is read into the whole thing. Mike didn't bring his clicky pen this time, and in other exceptional developments, also successfully uses a search engine. Meanwhile, Jon's got a new microphone (so you can hear the havoc caused by hayfever in crisp, delicious high-def audio) and spectacularly fails to read an email address. What a treat!
This time around your brave hosts are discussing Episode 2 - 'Bart The Genius'. The 'interesting' count may be diminishing, but Mike's found a retractable pen to click throughout the episode. Good luck un-hearing that. We have a somewhat unqualified discussion on intelligence, offer some even-more-unqualified ponderings on sexism, reveal some bombshell revelations about Marge and Disco Stu, and ask; what is real, exactly?
Mike & Jon discuss the start of it all - 'Simpsons Roasting On An Open Fire'. We ask the important questions; How is this show so good already? When did Moe's become a dump? When did Neddy find God?
