Since 1999 Canadian based artist DJ McTwist has provided audiences with his renowned break beats and all things funky. With the launch of Wonder Breaks which began in 2006 on Breaks.FM radio McTwist established himself as a host and mentor to up and coming artists. He continued this path for the following 7 years with TheLostArt.com. McTwist has created a musical infrastructure built on his passion for spinning records, supporting other artists and sharing the decks with some of the greatest names in the electronic music industry. He has performed alongside headliner DJs such as: The Stanton Warriors, Krafty Kuts, WBBL, K+Lab, Keith Mackenzie, Phibes, A.Skillz and Featurecast, to name a few. He demonstrates his diverse talents through his unique musical production and successful track releases; McTwist is known for his stage presence and passion for the art of DJing. His work has gained momentum and recognition since being charted on Beatport and Juno Download multiple times. This has provided McTwist with opportunities to perform at the WMC in Miami, Florida and headline at many Canadian based music festivals. McTwist joins Wildfire with 2 thumping breakbeat tunes that you shouldn't miss. Grayson Shuffle starts with a solid old school Florida breaks sound. Half tempo beat breakdowns lead into nothing less than acid breaks. 'Breaking the Higher Love is on par but boasts a powerful synth under tone that is both inspiring and uplifting. Both tracks are a must for any Breakbeat collection.

RENDER RECORDINGS is finishing up the year with a special single from McTwist, which commemorates the life of the late Ouda Michael Hewitt. “Tribute” starts off with an exclusive acapella from the reggae legend, Ouda, and then slides into a smooth beat with a hypnotic arpeggiated synth. McTwist then drops into some big room synth leads, banging Trap beats, and Ouda ripping up some bars! This single is a secret weapon for any DJs set, so don’t sleep on this one.

Coming off the hit track Boss with BBK, McTwist brings you Klarity with Dop3 MC. This funky bass driven tune is sure to make the dance floor move. Dop3 MC lays down some sweet vocals but you had better not "f" with that guy.
The newest, sitting in the top 100 breaks chart for the last 4 weeks, topped out at #3 on the Beatport Breaks chart from McTwist. This funky heavy banger gives you some getup and go care of big bass lines and stellar vocals from BBK. This one is a serious heater.

Up on Grits N Gravy for the first time, "Popsicles" leads the EP with a mid-tempo breakbeat groove backed by Bobby Danger's LA-style hip-hop rhymes - an instant classic in our opinion. Sonek's remix injects a noxious wave of bass to the equation, while Smokey Montrose goes for the disco rework - majestically fronted by an electro-style boogie bass - and D-Funk ties the EP off with a more old-school, vintage house approach filled with chunky breaks and badass bass bumps.
This track on its own is absolutely insane. Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne knock it out of the park. There are other remixes out there but this one has some So So Fresh Flavour on it. Enjoy

First through the gates is the EPs namesake, featuring vocals by MC Kyla, this high energy track will get the dance floor packed in a hurry. Next up is Here it Comes, showing up to the party with a broken beat that somehow manages to be slick and gritty at the same time. Wrapping things up, label boss Chaos Theory offers his own take on the last tune, slowing things down and adding a glitchy edge to an already stellar tune.
