Kaylee and Lian answer all this and more in this episode of Zillennials Podcast.

🏡 Welcome back to Zillennials Podcast! On this episode, Kaylee and Lian are discussing all things moving. 🏡
Moving into your college dorm will look different from moving into your first apartment and that will look forward to moving into your forever home. Should you rent or buy furniture? Kaylee and Lian are not those people, but they have an awesome start-up idea to solve this problem! As always, no moving episode would be complete without a renter's horror story.

👩🏻🍳 Welcome Back to Zillennials Podcast! Kaylee and Lian are cooking recipes from Angela Liddon's Oh She Glows Everyday cookbook. 👩🏻🍳
Kaylee gifted Lian this cookbook for her birthday and this quarter's theme was born when Lian learned that Kaylee also owned the cook book. As usual, Kaylee selected one recipe (the Om Em Gee Veggie burgers) and Lian selected the other recipe (Metabolism-Reviving Cabbage Soup). Did Lian almost make Kaylee make a celery soup? Did Kaylee use the paprika for the spice mix? What do you do with the extra cabbage? Are veggie burgers weeknight cooking? Listen to this episode to learn Zillennial's Podcast's overall thoughts on these recipes and the Oh She Glows Everyday cookbook.

Welcome to the Zillennials Book Club! This month Kaylee and Lian are discussing How Much of These Hills is Gold by C. Pam Zhang. This is the first western novel discussed on the podcast and Kaylee and Lian loved it! This novel was Kaylee's first western and the first western that Lian liked. The story, a twist on a typical western novel, follows Lucy and Sam, two siblings born in the American West to parents with Chinese ancestry. The novel begins after the death of Ba, and follows Lucy and Sam over five or so years as they find their way as orphans in the American west during the time of the gold rush. We'll cover our overall reactions to the book, what we thought of the different characters and our feelings on how the author ended the novel. We strongly recommend this book!
Don't forget to share your thoughts and opinions on the book with us by sending us an email or a DM on Instagram! We'd love to hear if you think Sam was slapped or knocked out or if you liked they way the book ended.

Welcome back to Zillennials Podcast! On this episode Kaylee and Lian are discussing societal norms, and Kaylee reveals her secret affinity for tattoos. Join us to discover shaving options (if you're into shaving-- no judgement here!) and our opinions on what society deems "normal" for different jobs and genders. A person's physical appearance shouldn't contribute to their perceived professional capabilities but some things have traditionally been thought of as unprofessional, which may be changing with the times. We'll also dip our toes into issues regarding childcare and gender roles. It is sometimes hard to not feel the pressure of making the "right" choice. Every one of us will make our own decisions on these issues and the choice that is right for one person may be different than the choice that is right for another person! What's your opinion on these norms? Feel free to send us an email and let us know!

Or did you ever feel a little guilty about not wanting to socialize even though you love your friends? Feel free to weigh in as we discuss the correct pronunciation of finance. Is it regional, or is there a correct way to say it? Let us know! Welcome back to Zillennials Podcast! Join Lian and Kaylee for a discussion on all things food! They open the conversation with some tips on food preparation and storage and continue on to talk about their food preferences. The episode ends with Lian and Kaylee defending their opinions in a series of food debates. Are subs, hot dogs, and hamburgers sandwiches? Do uncrustables have a crust? And, most importantly, what makes a pizza. Kaylee thinks that it is sometimes okay to eat pizza with a knife and fork. Lian's mind is blown when she finds out the assembly order of making a deep dish pizza. Listen to this week's episode to determine which one of them is correct!
