What’s the thirstiest you’ve ever been? The thirst Jesus is talking about isn’t physical, it’s spiritual—it’s that longing, yearning we all feel that needs to be filled. Often, we spend years trying to fill it with other things—money, power, relationships, addictions, work, etc. Yet, we always come back thirsty. It’s only in the living water of Christ Jesus, the eternal spring which overflows into our lives and never stops flowing, that we can find true satisfaction.
Money will never bring satisfaction and contentment. Nor does it bring peace of mind. God knows our ever need before we even ask.
”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.“John 3:16 NIVGod loved us so much that He wanted not only to remedy our state of being afraid, which He does graciously, but the whole problem of sin and its curse. He sent Jesus for life and salvation.

Praying the promises of God is about learning more about God, His character and His love for us. The Bible says all of God’s promises are Yes and Amen!!!
God calls each of us to undertake a journey, a pilgrimage. He wants to take us places we’ve never been, and we don’t know in advance how to get there. But God expects us to take this journey by faith. Step by step, we move along in the confidence that God, our personal GPS, knows exactly where He is taking us.
Choosing your new passion. Hobbies can serve as a sanctuary for our busy lives. Choose Joy and Enjoyment!!!
We have a choice to make every day, every morning when we wake up. Will it be God or will it be self?
Spending Time in God’s Word. Consistency is the key. Find a time, a place and a space that works best for you. God is not a one-size-fits-all. You choose what time in God’s Word looks like for you! And fill it with things you LOVE. Pray, Read, Ask, Respond, Listen.
God is after our heart motives, not our outward religious activity or begrudging obedience.
Numbers 6:24-26 is God’s blessing for His people. God wants to bless. He actually commands His servants to bless His people. May He bless you too
Jesus expected those who believe in Him to carry on His work in the world. He did not expect the disciples to disband after His departure, but to carry on His work in even greater magnitude (greater works than these he will do).
Holy week is the week between Palm Sunday and Easter. It is observed with special solemnity as a time of devotion to the Passion of Christ. Palm Sunday is the beginning of Holy Week - which commemorate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where the crowds greeted him waving palm, branches, and crying out “Hosanna! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the coming kingdom of our ancestors David! Hosanna in the highest heaven.”
“Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150:6)The thing about praise is that we think of it as noisy, raucous. We think of making that joyful noise the psalmist talks about. Imagine, though, how you can do it in silence.
There is power in collective prayer and belief! As we see the miraculous occur, we will glorify the name of Jesus as the author of all things good. We join our faith for all things expecting Him to show up in our lives through miracles, signs, and wonders.
When you are generous with your faith in God, you will find that his math yields a far greater return. God wants our hearts to respond to Him in obedience.
Time for new beginnings, which sometimes means the closing of doors and opening of others. Start the New Year strong!
God shows up through answered prayer, showing that He is provider. He is a protector. He is healer. He is a Wonderful Counselor. There is not an issue we are facing in our culture that prayer cannot address.
“Be glad in the Lord and rejoice!” An attitude of gratitude! People who are thankful are known to be less depressed, get better grades in school, sleep better, stay healthy, have deeper friendships, and have a brighter outlook on life. Basically, gratitude is good for you!
We need to focus on finding our calling. Discovering what work God wants us to do to lead others to Christ and bring Him glory.
Throughout the Bible, in both the Old and New Testament scriptures it tell us, yes it even commands us as Christ-Followers, God’s People, Children of God, to Love Our Neighbor as ourselves. Matthew 22:39 and Mark 12:31 are just a couple.
Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Whatever is a word used to refer to limitless volume and extent.
Every-Day, Every-Hour, Every-Minute, Every-Second is a chance to start over. God wants us to focus on the new work He is doing in our lives.
Proverbs 14:1a says, The wise woman builds her house: Wisdom builds. It looks at what is and wisely considers how to make it better. Many homes have been made by a godly, wise woman who looks after the home and builds it. The same is true with relationships - build and make them better.
Colossians 3:23 says, “whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord not for human masters.” Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, “whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” You and I are called to lean fully into the work God has called us to do and to do so ambitiously for His glory and the good of others.
Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. ~ Philippians 4:6
Elements and Tools for studying the Bible. The Bible is God’s word, so you can be confident that it is true and right. It is the inspired Word of God. It will be your guide and companion for life and living. Don’t expect to understand all of it at first. You can and will grow into it. God’s Word will speak into your life!
We are all fighting the good fight. Isaiah 43 verse two says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and the flames shall not consume you. God is with us every step of the way.
The Holy Spirit is our Leader, Guide, Teacher, and Comforter. His presence in us means that we are God’s children and that God has upheld his promise to always be with us.
Walking by Faith in your Promised Land. Wisdom and folly both want to control our lives. We have to decide which one will.
The miraculous lesson of Easter is this: Through Jesus Christ’s death on the cross and resurrection we have been granted a second chance at life.
Change the way you think - fix your attention on God. Let God transform your thinking and let Him bring out the best in you.
Praying with and in the Bible allows us to sit in God’s truth for an extended period of time in such a way that allows it to break through our outer barriers.
Just as our physical eyesight is the sense that gives us evidence of the material world, faith is the sense that gives us evidence of the invisible, spiritual world.
3 ways to press through unanswered prayers. 1. Know with confidence God hears your prayers. 2. Trust that prayer makes a difference, even when you don’t see the difference. 3. Tell fear it has no place in this conversation.
What are you a goals for this year? Are they SMART Goals? Are they specific to every area of your life? Most importantly do you include God in the process?
This episode is a look inside my journal and reflecting on 2021. I hope you’ll be encouraged to look back at the things that brought you JOY in 2021. Life is not always easy, we have to what matters most then live the most of what matters.
Most of us are pretty good at waiting for things we want. We expect to wait except when makes us wait. We find ourselves feeling discontent and anxious, questioning our Creator.
No fixation exists outside God’s long-armed reach. Because we are a “new creation,” we have a choice. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
God has given each of spiritual gifts to impact and improve the lives of other people. We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
The Book of James provides us with life lessons for living a successful life both home-life and work-life. James 4:7-8
Scripture communicates what happens when our prayers are answered. Read John 14:13, 16:24
Joy is not the same as happiness. Happiness is fleeting and circumstantial, joy is contentment despite the circumstances.
Hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:5
Living by faith is not living by circumstance, it’s living by stance. God sees us as righteous in spite of our faults and our sins. Peace requires faith. When we choose to have peace in God we’re declaring that God has the situation handled.
Paul‘s writing to the church at Colosse to correct heresies and false teachings that were becoming popular in that community. There’s a lot we can learn today from the truths in the 4 chapters in this book.
Having a quiet time, being alone with God, is like many other activities in life. To be successful, it helps to have a plan. The Bible says,”the plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty. (Proverbs 21:5 ESV)
“I tell you, in the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.” Luke 15:10 God never gives up on us. Many of us have loved ones who are like the lost sheep in the Parable of the Lost Sheep or the Lost Coin in Luke 15.
Let me introduce you to God. All people were created to worship - they will worship something or someone.
God does not call us to small thinking. Small thinking results from a lack of exposure to the Word and a lack of ownership of the Word. Small thinking limits who we become.
We can be assured God will answer our prayers in Jesus Name because of our association, access, authority, agreement and assurance.
Five minutes with Jesus can make all the difference. Five minutes to shut out the noise, five minutes to peace, five minutes to fill your soul with joy. It’s amazing what just five minutes out of a busy day can do. Then wait for Him to speak to your heart.
Can you imagine what it must have been like to witness Jesus death on the cross. What were Jesus’ followers feeling the hours and days following His death? His death wasn’t and isn’t the end of the story.
God is all about relationships, He wants us to put Him first. It’s time to let go of the phobia that we don’t measure up. If anything, the Proverbs 31 Woman should inspire us to walk closer to the Lord & not strive for perfection.
Speak life into your faith. God wants us to live by faith. Daily God wants us to spend time wit Him in His Word.
All things have become new is the language of God’s perfect re-create work. God wants to do a new thing in our life..
Having confidence in times of stress and distress. Living each day with Calm and Wholeness.
Worry is fear and fear opens an unseen doorway. God shuts that door shut and opens the way for God’s covenant promises.
Celebrate God‘s goodness - “ The peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds.”
Celebrating our friendships with others and loving on our family members is something that encourages us and honors God. ❤️
You and I were created by God to create. We were created on purpose for a purpose in God’s image.
