Although God wants us to enjoy all the good gifts that he has provided for us, he also wants to know if we will place these created things at the center of our lives. As we go on this faith journey, our faith will be tested. But we can always find the answer when we honor Jesus as more than enough. Remember, the center seat is always meant for the Creator himself.
Although there are days of despair and desperation that leave us feeling as if where we are is where we will remain forever, they will not. Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr reminds us we can rest assured that regardless of what we may be facing “It’s Gonna Be Alright.” God knows our pain and is ready to shelter us in his arms. God will turn things around for our favor. In God nothing is impossible.
Perhaps the clearest image of God we have on earth is that of the father. Jesus sacrificed heaven and descended to be a reflection of the glory of God to his people. As children of God, we too should reflect that light. In this special Father’s Day talk, Pastor Adrian Molina reminds us of how Jesus sees us as his children, “Through the Eyes of a Father”.
