TEACHER TRAINING FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT MINISTRIES AUGUST 18TH & 25TH
The Wednesday ministries are gearing up for their restart on Wednesday, September 1st. In preparation for this restart, we will be having two training session, Aug. 18th & 25th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm for REACH SM, CrossPoint Kids (K-6th) and CrossPoint Juniors (3-4 years of age).
We are always looking for more individuals that want to invest in the spiritual formation of our children. If you are planning to serve or are interested in finding out more, please plan to join us for the nights of training.
STRASSENFEST PARADE AUGUST 8th AT 12:30 PM
This year CrossPoint will participate in the Strassenfest parade by handing out popsicles. We could use your help in two ways. First, we could use donations of freeze pops. Second, we need several families to walk along the parade route and pass out popsicles and church information. Please consider joining us!
The POINT biblical counseling is a counseling ministry that CrossPoint Fellowship Church has developed over the years to help people in our church as well as those who are in our community. CrossPoint believes through this ministry the Lord will provides the answers needed for life. ARK ENCOUNTER AND CREATION MUSEUM TRIP JULY 30-31
A trip is planned to visit the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. The combo ticket covering both days is $79.95 (18+), $69.95 (60+), $44.95 (11-17) and under 10 is free. OPERATION CHIRSTMAS CHILD CHRISTMAS IN JULY
We are celebrating Christmas in July for OCC with a goal of collecting150 boxes this year. During the month of July, we would love to fill the stage with completed boxes that will be sent out in November. You can fill the boxes with school supplies, small stuffed animals, toys, soccer balls w/ air pumps, toiletries (non-liquid), etc. An OCC display is set up in the entryway with boxes and information on OCC. If you’d like to participate but are unable to fill a box, you can make a donation and someone else will shop and fill a box for you. Thank you for helping us reach the goal of 150 boxes and make an eternal impact in the lives of children around the globe.

Next week is Church in the Park and we are excited to be holding this at Bohnert Park. The morning will begin at 10:00 am with muffins and juice followed by our morning worship service at 10:30 am. Kids of the Kingdom is a non-denominational religion release program. KOK has the privilege of teaching the gospel to 300+ Jasper Elementary Students weekly during the school year.
As we open the book of Ephesians we are immediately called to praise God for his rich spiritual blessings withholding nothing from His children! The first three messages are grouped together under the series #blessed as we discover the robust ways in which we have been blessed by God.

Sandy’s story of salvation took place at church after hearing the Gospel shared by a former Al Capone gangster. As she left church that day under the conviction that she needed to respond to Jesus’ offer of salvation the guest evangelist asked her this simple question, “Do you know my Jesus?”
From this question Sandy put her faith in Jesus’ death and resurrection and was mightily saved by Jesus Christ.

MISSIONARY UPDATE – SEPTEMBER FOCUS KIDS OF THE KINGDOM Every week CrossPoint has the opportunity to share a one-hour Gospel centered Bible lesson with K-5th graders at Jasper Elementary School. This open door for the gospel allows us to share the gospel with between 300 – 400 kids every year and we have seen numerous children put their faith in Christ through this outreach ministry. We could always use volunteers who would be willing to give an hour or two of their day once a week to help in the classroom. There is room for 6-8 family units in Room 206. 6) Give one another grace as not everyone will practice social distancing at your desired level and not everyone's comfort level with returning is the same. For those that are ready to get back and find social distancing requirements over the top, give others grace and love. For those that believe social distancing and other safety precautions are essential give grace to those that see and practice differently than you do. 7) Face masks can be worn but will not be required. The CDC is encouraging the wearing of face mask to protect others. 8) On Sunday, May 24 we will also be voting to extend a call to Jean Marc to serve as summer intern and 2 year pastoral resident. We are excited to announce that CrossPoint will be restarting their in person weekly worship service on Sunday, May 24th.
This timetable is in keeping with the governor's recommendation for gatherings of 100 or less. We will continue to make available our online worship service for those that are uncomfortable coming to services at this point or are in the at-risk groups.
We have seating for 100 in the auditorium as well as 4 other viewing areas including room 206 which will be set-up to be family friendly for those with active children!
