My purpose is to move the needle of human performance. I help people find the potential they never knew they had, so that they can live the life they never thought was possible.

Being an athlete is a mindset. It’s the mindset that allows you to Think about what you’re doing now and how to improve on it for the next step (micro effect), and Think about how to be successful and progressing towards your goals (macro effect).

I am changing the game. The rules. And breaking stereotypes of home fitness. It's CrossFit meets motherhood. Meets strength training. Meets gains. Meets BA women ready to take on the world!

I am passionate about helping women find their worth in their strength, not their scale number. I am on a mission to redefine fitness. I firmly believe most women desire to be strong, be real, be empowered. And that the current standards of fitness only lead us to failure. And an inability to fall in love with our journey to a healthier version of ourselves because we are too busy trying to be like the woman on the video or the magazine cover. Or we are impatient. Or we don't have a supportive coach or environment to excel and celebrate our strength within.

strive to create an environment of success within and around the athlete.

19 years plus in the professional athlete world, both on teams and working directly with the athletes, has given me some pretty amazing experiences and insights on how the human body and mind connect and work together to create success in sports. I have found that success comes when the athlete really knows themselves and can have good safe “conversations” with their own body/mind, coaches and teammates. The culture created in and around the athletes is the key to long term success.

I use my education, experiences and curiosity in human movement and the nervous system paired with my sense and understanding of overall athlete development to help the athletes with their goals and success. Each athlete is different so I’m able to use my tool box of skills in movement, sports performance, visualization, somatic exercise, breath work, muscle therapy and coaching to create a plan with them and their team to become the best version of themselves. I believe strongly that it takes a village type effort for individuals at the top level and I thoroughly enjoy working with others for the betterment of the athlete and team.

I feel I have a unique and natural approach to sports performance because I feel everyone has within themselves the power to be great, it just needs to be molded and supported with science and mindset.

I truly enjoy learning from others and connecting in an authentic way to help the sports performance community grow and support the athletes we get to work with. I live with an open minded approach that has served me well in my career. I’m truly grateful for my colleagues and friends that have taught me so much by being great in their field of knowledge and are open to deep discussion and thoughts.

Balancing training volume & intensity around work & social demands, whilst optimising sleep & recovery, and tracking nutrient intake all at once takes a lot of planning, effort & management. It can be easy to fall off the rails & it can be hard to pick yourself back up. Experiencing this juggling-act first hand has enabled me to build better rapport with my patients & athletes, and help them think outside the box when it comes to finding the right “balance” for them to achieve their goals.

Postural Restoration Therapist and Certified Athletic TrainerAs a child and young adult, I deeply immersed myself in the world of gymnastics, actively participating from the ages of 15 to 22. As time marched on, I ventured into a new athletic realm, wholeheartedly embracing Olympic Weightlifting, where I had success as a competitor in the 53kg weight category.

However, the demanding world of high-level athleticism began to take its toll on my body, and I made the decision to retire at age of 27. This phase of my life turned out to be a significant learning adventure, offering me valuable insights into both my personal well-being and the idea of healing.

During this time, Postural Restoration, alongside holistic medicine, emerged as crucial elements in my journey. They directed me towards more effective methods and approaches that eventually paved the way for my healing and recovery, adding a brighter chapter to my story.

With 19 years clinical experience, Dr. Nessler challenges himself to be a thought leader in sports medicine, injury prevention and movement dysfunction. With 18 years’ experience in management of outpatient physical therapy and athletic training programs, he constantly challenges conventional wisdom to think outside the box in developing applications utilizing evidence based practice integrated with the latest technology in order to address an epidemic problem of non-contact injuries in youth athletics.

Through years of clinical research and practical clinical applications, Dr. Nessler has developed a comprehensive methodology on how to assess the lower kinetic chain in athletes that not only reduces injury rates but also improves athletic performance. In 2014, he blended this knowledge with the Xbox One to develop a fully automated movement assessment that could be used in pre-participation athletic physicals and military settings.

Today, Dr. Nessler looks to continue this development of ways to apply the latest technology and biomechanical sciences to allow for scalable solutions to have profound impact on the non-contact injury epidemic impacting our kids today.
