The legendary Imogen Heap needs no introduction. The song “2-1” from her 2009 album ellipse was originally written for “The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian”, but deemed to dark for the film. Philadelphia DJ and producer Michael Myers heard a club anthem lurking in those haunting melodies and contacted his frequent collaborator Noel Sanger. The two spent a week in Sanger’s Miami studio crafting this techy, progressive, big-room monster- and the genre-bending results are stunning! Sure to find favor on all kinds of floors, and with all kinds of DJ’s- this could be the crossover anthem for 2011!
Michael Myers has toured the world for years and, as a partner in the legendary Local 13, produced some of the Northeastern USA’s largest and most impressive dance music events. Noel Sanger has worked with the most elite of the dance music world, releasing hundreds of productions and collaborating with or remixing artists such as Nadia Ali, Tiesto, BT, and Markus Schulz.
