Furlough Fridays
Remember when bands used to be just a bunch of friends who got together in a garage and learned how to play music? Furlough Fridays brings back the music that puts the friends first, music second, and everything else after that. When we play shows, our number one goal is to help you leave your worries at the door and join us on an epic jam sesh that leaves you feeling alive and ready. This is our podcast version of that experience, where we put our instruments down and do more talking instead of rocking.
In this episode we expose the truth. Sometimes we make mistakes. In life and on stage. Adam mistakenly thinks the Chico News and Review died from coronavirus, so we share our favorite memories of the CNR. We discuss dealing with making mistakes on stage, and throw a lot of blame at each other. We name drop a popular band that we partied with on a tour bus, and of course, discuss tv shows, and existentialism.
In this episode we discuss the progress on our new album, booking shows in the new corona virus pandemic, and the reality that JP, Minnie and Megatron need to get REAL IDs. The DMV got rocked by Furlough Fridays. Also, soup was eaten and TV shows were critiqued.
Furlough Fridays wants to bring you into the inner sanctum. We talk about the ins and outs of being in a band, recording, booking shows, tv shows, and other things that pop into our minds.
