Keeping us busy in our season finale, however, are the transfers! Jobe Bellingham has completed a move to Dortmund, Angel Gomes turns down Premier League interest to stay in Ligue 1, and Aaron Ramsey decides Mexico is a much more fun prospect than Cardiff in League One. We don't blame you fella!

We've been celebrating plenty of titles and promotions recently from our overseas contingent, but it's more about the lows this week as pod favourites Strasbourg, led by Liam Rosenior, miss out on Europe in heartbreaking fashion, and Jordan Henderson's Ajax throw the Eredivisie title away in their last five games. As many league seasons around the world reach their climax, trophy winners are being decided and there are plenty of Brits abroad that have medals around their necks in the last week or so. Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Michael Olise each win their first league titles after a chaotic Bayern weekend, former Man Utd midfielder Maxi Oyedele wins his first senior trophy, and Ivan Toney's Ah-Ahli win the Asian answer to the Champions League.
Elsewhere, we discuss the British-born/raised interest in Ligue 1's Champions League race, with former Arsenal duo Mika Biereth and Folarin Balogun starting up top together for the first time in Monaco's recent win, while Marseille eye up Lille's contract rebel Angel Gomes for a surprise summer move.

After a great week of Champions League in Europe, we turn to the equivalent competition in Asia where Ivan Toney and his Al-Ahli side are one game away from continental glory. In Spain, Jude Bellingham sees red in a cup final defeat for Real Madrid, while in Germany it looks like Bayern will confirm Harry Kane's first title this weekend (although he won't be playing!).

As the majority of the British contingent abroad crash out of continental competition, some are still making big steps for their domestic league prospects. Bayern extend their lead at the top of the table, as Harry Kane becomes the fastest player to 60 Bundesliga goals, while Scott McTominay's winner for Napoli earned not just his second consecutive MOTM award, but saw his side go level on points with Serie A leaders Inter. Gianfranco Zola was among the latest to heap praise on him...

He recently signed for NK Jarun Zagreb in the Croatian second tier, having enjoyed a storming half-season in rural Armenia, and we hear his experiences of those periods as well as his time in the under-age sides of Farense in Portugal, and Venezuelan giants Caracas.

Carney Chukwuemeka scores on his long-awaited first start for loan club Dortmund, while Ademola Lookman is somehow accidentally substituted in a defeat for Atalanta. The international break has delivered, with lots of diaspora in action and plenty of the contingent helping their teams to good results!
Liverpool-born Thelo Aasgard began life in the Norway senior setup in style, while his Luton Town teammate Isaiah Jones grabbed a hat-trick for Guyana in a big Gold Cup play-off first leg win. Michael Olise delivers on the big stage for France, while Hamza Choudhury helps Bangladesh to a respectable point despite the cheeky pre-match problems caused in India. Two English-born non-league players help Sri Lanka to a rare win, while a Cardiff City defender secures his eligibility for Singapore in the next international break!
Plus, Met Police centre back Alfie Walters debuted for Seychelles away in Gabon, and we are delighted to hear from him on this episode about that special night!

Kobbie Mainoo reportedly wants to leave Manchester United to a club abroad, which is obviously music to our ears, so we speculate where he could or should end up this summer. In Italy, Kyle Walker's personal life continues to be targeted by the press, while Che Adams nears a Scottish record after his 8th Serie A goal of the season.

The last week has seen plenty of British-born footballers on diaspora duty for international sides outside the UK, although only a few got what they were hoping for out of it. Those in action for Gambia and Sierra Leone saw their AFCON hopes evaporate, while Jamaica lost in their Nations League Quarter Final after a series of bad luck from the UK diaspora including a missed penalty, a red card and - perhaps most infuriatingly of all - a lost passport.
A changing of the guard down the bottom end of UEFA sees Gibraltar and Malta head to play-offs, while in club football the most fun managerial appointment of recent weeks has already gone belly up.

The transfer window has shut in the UK and we have some late moves abroad to update you on, not least the interesting variety of Brits that have been linked to or signed for sides in the Saudi Pro League, from Ivan Toney's jaw-dropping move to Cymru Premier striker Brad Young smashing the Welsh transfer record.
