Dr. Dave Brown is the co-author, along with Dr. Trudy Knowles, of the book, "What Every Middle School Teacher Should Know". The book is now in its third edition is updated with more student voice, timely new research, strategies, and models that illuminate the philosophies and practices that best serve the needs of the young adolescent.
NELMS has been a leader in promoting middle level best practices by providing collaborative learning experiences that support students' academic, social, and emotional growth and success. This podcast provides a brief introduction to NELMS and information regarding NELMS' upcoming annual conference.
