During the COVID-19 lockdown, I review beers and bring you the stories behind them from my boxes of beer from Beer 52, Flavourly and others, as well as music from independent artists.
This time we take a trip to Derbyshire for Thornbridge Brewery's Peakender festival with a box of beer from Beer 52 from 2019 that was reviewed in a strange way! I started on 24th & 25th August 2020, got distracted by my August Bank Holiday Special, then realised I hadn't finished Peakender on 14th September! The reviewed beers are: Thornbridge Bliss Point, Thornbridge Market Porter, Young's Homebrew Oaked Rum Ale O.R.A (Rita Ora), Fyne Easy Trail, Northern Monk New World, Harbour Daymer EPA, Tiny Rebel Easy Livin, Tiny Rebel Cali, Magic Rock Dark Arts. As a special treat for show number 10, I bring you the first Beers From Lockdown! The idea that stared it off! As I had to cancel my trip to Barcelona because of COVID-19, on the weekend it should have been on I brought Barcelona Beer Festival to me! Raiding my fridge and cupboards for any unusual or international beers I could find. (And I have a very wide selection of beer!).
