1Kngs. 17:1-19:9; 2Cor. 7:1-8:15. Both Elijah and Paul were human, with natural states of strength, and emotional lows. Lots of good things to learn in these verses.
1Kngs13-14; Acts 19:21-20:2. The commentary about the rioters of Acts chapter 19 (published 2004) has a prophetic parallel to the rioters of January 6th, 2021.
Ps. 88; Prov. 24; 2 Thess. Ps. 88 is probably the most depressing Psalm to me, and yet, somehow, is also incredibly inspiring.
