Episode 100: I Hope I'm Ready
The other day I had an interesting conversation with Shania. It was not unlike a conversation that I’ve had many times over the years. We were talking about the return of Jesus Christ and eternal life.
As we spoke Shania voiced her concern of whether she was truly ready for the return of Jesus Christ. She was concerned that maybe she wouldn’t be a part of God’s salvation through Christ because she had not done enough good works to gain God’s approval. She said, “I hope I’m ready.”
We will see from the scriptures what it is "to be ready" and the importance of speaking in tongues in the believer's life.
Episode 99: The Reward of Obedience
Today's topic is the Reward of Obedience from Philippians chapter two.
The second half of the show is an interview with Billy Hallowell, Director of Communication and Content for Pure Flix Entertainment.
Regarding the topic of obedience to God, I’ll be honest, I’m not always obedient to God’s direction. But when I am, there is always great reward. Just the joy of knowing that your life has made a difference in the life of another is enough for me.
In Philippians we are going to look at the example of our Lord Jesus Christ who was obedient unto death. We will see the great reward our Lord and Savior has received. And in the context of our reading we will see how our Heavenly Father works within us to will and to do of His good pleasure.
Billy Hallowell has been working in journalism and media for more than a decade. His writings have appeared in TheBlaze, and on FoxNews.com in addition to many other outlets.
Billy is the Director of Communication and Content for Pure Flix. He also writes a blog that is published on the Pure Flix website.

Episode 98: He is Risen
Words mean something. Words can inspire and encourage or they can cause despair and fear.
The words of politicians move nations to action. While the words of some endeavor to instill fear and paralyze the hearers. The words of a radio commercial persuade the hearer to purchase a product. While the words of the talking heads on tv give information sometimes tainted by the prejudice of the one who speaks.
We are inundated all day long by words. Words we hear. Words we think.
In my humble opinion the 3 greatest words ever spoken ….. He is Risen! Today's program looks at the record of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and part of what that means for us today.
Episode 97: Jesus Christ Our Passover Lamb
This week being the week before we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead I thought we’d take a look at Jesus Christ as our Passover Lamb and what that means to us today.
Jesus Christ is God’s solution for mankind’s redemption. Why did we need to be redeemed? We needed to be redeemed because of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden many thousands of years ago. At the time of Adam’s disobedience man died. What did man lose in his death in the Garden? He initially lost spirit. He lost his relationship with God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Adam and Eve were then cast out of the Garden and eventually their body and soul also died.
The great loss for mankind was spirit. It was also a tremendous loss for God – He no longer had the fellowship He desired when He first gave life to Adam and Eve. God put in motion His plan to redeem mankind with the perfect man, the Lord Jesus Christ. … in order that man might once again be able to have spirit and a restored relationship with the most High God!
Episode 96: Answered Prayer
A couple days a go I had the privilege to pray with Sheryl, a young lady from Florida. She was visiting the Chicago area because her brother was in hospice. She is a Christian. Her brother was not a Christian. For the past 3 month she has flown here every 10 days or so to spend time with her brother whom she grew up being very close to. She prayed for her brother daily.
A couple weeks ago, her brother knowing that he was getting closer to death, asked her what do I need to do? Meaning, I’m know I need God. I know I need Jesus. What do I need to do? She prayed with her brother. She shared with him God’s love for him. And she told him that to receive eternal life he needed to believe that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead and to confess Jesus as Lord.
That day her brother received eternal life. He believed the words that Sheryl spoke. Sheryl had been praying for her brother. His heart was softened to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. God answered Sheryl’s prayer.
There are many records in the Bible where we see people pray, God hears their prayer – God responds and then those that prayed act according to God’s response or direction.
There are 2 tremendous examples of this in the book of Acts chapter 10 that we will look at in today's program.
Episode 95: The Gift from God
In today's show you will meet Hector who loves God and refuses to allow the circumstances of life to steal his joy.
God has given us many things, but the greatest of all is the gift of His son, Jesus Christ. And believing in His son results in receiving the gift of eternal life.
God did not reconcile us to himself by our good works or by our prayer or by our going to church every week. God reconciled us and brought us back into favor and righteousness to Himself by Jesus Christ.
And not only that – He gave us the ministry of reconciliation. You have a ministry. That ministry is to speak God’s Word regarding the Lord Jesus Christ to others so that they too can be reconciled to the one true God.
The interview in the second half of the program is with Christian minister, author, Bible teacher and broadcaster Mike Verdicchio. Mike’s newest book “What Does It Mean?” was just recently published.
Whether someone is simply interested in the culture of Bible times, a casual reader of the Bible, a serious student of the Scriptures, or a teacher, in the pages of What Does It Mean? they will discover gems of hidden truths and delight in understanding previously difficult sections of the Bible.
What Does It Mean? not only sheds light on over four dozen hard to understand verses of the Bible, but also offers some simple practical application for our day and time.

Episode 94: Redeem the Time
This past week was especially challenging in the sense that I couldn’t really accomplish much of anything because of the way my body was acting. There were a couple days where I had to sleep for 12 + hours. It really got me to think about the value of health and the value of time.
Which brings me to the topic we are going to look at today in God’s Word. Redeeming the time.
What are we living for? How are we spending our time? We spend our time on what we consider to be important. What is important to you?
Last week, not being able to do what my heart desired to do because of illness, caused me to reflect on the life I live.
Do I live out of anxiety or do I live out of knowing God’s love and trusting Him? I admit, sometimes I live out of anxiety because of the circumstances I find myself in. I need to eliminate that anxiety by trusting my Heavenly Father.
Do you live from anxiety or love?
How we spend our time will reflect what and who we trust.
This causes me to ask the question – “What would it be like to fully trust our Heavenly Father, the God who inhabits eternity and knows the end before the beginning?” What would your life be like if you fully trusted and obeyed the God of Love who only desires His best for you?
Episode 93: Speak Life - Live Life
The other day when I met Fay she was wearing a large cross around her neck. I told her that I was very thankful for what Jesus Christ did upon the cross for us. She replied, "Amen". We then talked about the Lord’s Return and we both agreed what a glorious moment that will be!
We could have talked about the weather or about the meaningless trivial things of the day.
Instead we lived life to its fullest, at that moment in time, by speaking life to one another – by speaking God’s Word and sharing the gospel with one another.
What a joy! What a privilege to love others by speaking God’s Word. And what a tremendous start to the day by praying together. Our Heavenly Father is so gracious and kind to allow us to minister His grace, His mercy and His love to others. We do that by speaking and living His Word.
The interview segment is with Mike Bliss. Mike is associated with the Sports Barn Men’s Bible Study in Bennington Nebraska, which is just outside of Omaha. Mike is the facilitator for the men’s weekly prayer and Bible study group.
Mike shares with us his testimony and the impact Nebraska football coach Ron Brown had upon his life. He also shares the blessing that the Sports Barn Men's Bible Study is to men in the Omaha area.

Episode 92: The Greatest Day!
Meet Michael whom I met one early Sunday morning and told him about God’s love for him and how valuable he is to God.
Each of us has needed someone to love us to the end of speaking God’s Word to us – we didn’t deserve it – too many of us were immersed in the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. But by God’s grace and mercy the seeds of His Word, His Love, were planted and they eventually took root to the end of believing that Jesus Christ died for you and that God raised him from the dead. Then by confessing Jesus as Lord we received eternal life.
The day we believed God’s Word may have been our greatest day. But there is a greater day to come – the Return of our Lord Jesus Christ! Learn how your life makes a difference as you speak God’s Word and Live God’s Love.
Today's guest interview is with Annette Hubbell. Annette is a San Diego native who enjoys writing, acting, history, and traveling to the Holy Lands. Episode 91: The Integrity of God's Word
It really is the integrity of God’s Word that is at stake. In today’s show hear about a Muslim woman that is open to hear about Christianity.
Jesus Christ stated that he was the way, the truth and the life. Absolutely no one can receive eternal life outside of God’s plan of redemption found in Christ Jesus.
Jesus said, “no one comes unto the Father but by him.”
Either Jesus told the truth, or he lied. Not all belief systems are equal. Only one leads to life – all the others lead to death.
If your understanding is unclear. If you have doubt regarding Jesus Christ and what he has done for you – If you have a heart that truly desires to know – pray to God that He would make Himself known to you. Ask Him to open your eyes as you read the Bible.
God is not hiding. He desires for you to know Him. He will answer your prayer.
Today’s interview segment is with Robert Wilkinson. Robert has led Mission Trips to Australia, Kenya, Uganda, and Japan. He is returning to Japan March 13 with his wife Patti and a team of four others for one month.
Robert shares with us God’s working in his heart and life and some of the signs, miracles and wonders he has seen.

Episode 90: Trust the God Who Loves You
Hear the story of Shakita. She was encouraged by prayer and God's Word.
It is vitally important that we know that God loves us. The foundation of our relationship with God has to be built on His love.
People in this world are hurting. They need those of us that know God and His Word to love them – to make known to them the living Word. We can do that by speaking God’s Word and praying and ministering God’s healing and deliverance to them. And at times we may be able to help them financially, or help them find a job, or just give a listening ear – allowing them to pour their heart out.
Interview Segment is with author and international conference speaker Ann Sullivan.
Ann is the author of the book Permission to Doubt and just released last week - Unsatisfied: Finding Contentment in a Discontented World. She also writes a blog titled Simple Truths.

Episode 89: Seek Your Heavenly Father
What do you seek for day to day? What do you pursue to attain and consider to be of great value? Where is your time and energy spent?
I’d venture to say that most in our day and time seek for riches, honor and the praise of men. There are some today that seek after God and the things of God. Those that do seek after God are at times dismissed by the world as being a "little off" or maybe living to an "undesirable extreme".
It’s relatively easy to follow the masses and pursue after riches, honor and the praise of men. It is not always easy to follow after God and His heart in this messed up world – it can at times be a bit of a struggle – almost as if you are like a fish fighting to get upstream – until, until your seeking of God flows from your heart. Then it becomes first nature. Then you have joy unspeakable. A joy that the that the world could never replace.
Today's program looks at seeking God first, above all else, and the great reward for doing so.
Episode 88: God's Abundant Grace
God’s grace is abundant in our lives every day. He has demonstrated His grace and unconditional love toward us in the giving of His son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is love and God is light. God is gracious toward all of us. Grace is given because of love. God loves us and He sheds His divine favor on each of us.
In today's teaching we look at several records in God's Word where we find God’s grace toward mankind all throughout history.
Thank you for listening!
Episode 87: Power in the Name of Jesus Christ Interview segment – Robert Rundle – Author, The Windows of Heaven

In today's teaching we see an example of the power in the name of Jesus Christ in everyday life!

Do you know who you are? Do you know your purpose? Do you know what you have been called to? What do the scriptures say about you?
Your true identity is found in Christ in God. You are loved beyond measure by your Heavenly Father. He has in store for you an inheritance so rich and abundant that it will take God all eternity to unfold to you His great grace, mercy and love.

Episode 85: Live in Light of Christ's Return
The Lord Jesus Christ could Return at any moment. His return in imminent! What will we do until the fullness of times when God the Father sends His son to gather us together unto Him?
We will do as the spirit directs. We will make full proof of our ministries of service. We will comfort and encourage one another with the Word of God. We will do the work of an evangelist proclaiming to all that will listen of the love the Father has for a perishing world.
We will live life to its fullest for God knowing that there is great reward throughout all eternity.
God's Word encourages us towards the more worthy endeavor of living with and for Him!

2 Corinthians 5:17 - 20 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
Episode 84: A New Beginning - Relationship
Last week we looked at A New Beginning with God. Specifically that no matter where you are today in life – God is with you. Maybe you think you have been a disappointment to yourself or to others……well, God is not disappointed in you. He loves you and He gave His son, our Lord Jesus Christ for you.
Sometimes we have performance based issues wondering if we’ve done enough for God. God is not looking for you to perform. He first of all wants your heart, your love. He desires that He be your desire.
Relationship with our Heavenly Father is foundational to a victorious Christian life.
Please write, I would love to hear from you. It blesses me to hear from you and your stories of deliverance. Or if you would like me to pray for you, please let me know.

Episode 81: Strong in God's Grace through Wisdom in Christ
Explore some of the Wisdom found in Christ which will enable you to be strong in God's Grace in today's program.
In II Timothy chapter 2, verse 1 it states, "that we are to be strong in the grace is found in Christ Jesus." If God asks us to be strong in the grace that is found in Christ Jesus then it must be available.
Where are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hid? They are hid in the knowledge of the mystery of God concerning Christ.
The all truth that Jesus Christ spoke of in the gospels is now revealed in the church epistles of the New Testament. Part of the all truth is:
Christ’s substitution in his death for you Your righteousness is complete in Christ All who freely desire to come to God are welcomed at His throne of grace Those that believe are members of the body of Christ You are seated in the heavenlies at God’s right hand At the return of Jesus Christ you will be gathered together with him and meet him in the air You have eternal life Until the Lord returns you have the privilege to do the same works as he did and greater works
Episode 80: No Greater Joy
What are you looking for? What does your heart desire? What is it that you think you need to live a better life?
When I was younger I often thought that more things was what I needed. You know, if I only had a newer car or a bigger house or a faster computer. And sometimes I’d get the newer car or the faster computer and still not be satisfied.
Or at times in my life I have looked to an event or to people to fill the void in my heart that I thought would make life better or more fulfilling.
So often we look in all the wrong places to validate our life…..we search for the things that we think will make us worth something. Really … the new car, the house, the electronics, the events, the people are all a distraction that only give a very temporary satisfaction….but never genuine fulfillment or validation.
The hearts of men and women hunger and thirst for righteousness. And in the true righteousness is found a relationship with the one true God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no greater joy than a relationship with God our Father!
Episode 79: Thanksgiving Interview segment – Garrett Bova – Pastor at Grace Christian Fellowship, Naperville IL and Chaplain for Lisle/Woodridge Fire District This past Thursday we celebrated Thanksgiving. Episode 78: What Are We to Do?
A little over a week ago elections were held in the United States. We elected Donald Trump and Mike Pence as the President and Vice-President. Sadly many Christians are divided over the results of this election.
Regardless of the election results there is no reason to be divided or to be fearful and angry. God’s Word gives us direction - for those that truly desire to know what to do next.
Our true citizenship is in heaven!
In today's teaching we will see why it is so important for us to pray for leaders and those that are in authority. It is so we can lead a quiet and peaceable life to the end that we have the freedom to freely speak God’s Word to a perishing world.
Our leaders need your prayers. Your family, neighbors, co-workers need you to love them to the end that you lovingly and boldly speak God’s Word to them regarding the saving grace found in Christ Jesus. Don’t you ever underestimate your value within your sphere of influence. The life you reach today may in turn reach millions. Whether you reach one or millions, always abound in the work of the Lord knowing that your labor is not in vain.
Episode 77: Love - Our Greatest Need
What would it mean to you if you had become one of the wealthiest people in the world and you had all that your heart might desire? Everywhere you went people knew who you were and paid homage to you hoping to receive some favor from you.
You were powerful and much desired by others to be their friend. You had all the money you could ever want. You were in perfect health, bursting with energy. Your life was full with all that the world has to offer - yet you did not know God ... your life was lost.
What I truly need - and if you are honest I trust you would say the same...what we truly need is more of God. More of an intimacy with our Heavenly Father. A deeper and richer relationship with the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. Our greatest need today is a relationship with the One True God.
God is love. Your life is hid in Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears then will you also appear with him in glory!
Enjoy this program and grow in your relationship with your Heavenly Father!
Episode 76: Philippians 2 - Joy in Service
When we read and study God’s Word our goal should be to grow closer in our relationship with God as our Heavenly Father. We don’t read and study just to gain more knowledge. What a tremendous waste of time to only have head knowledge and not have the application of the knowledge to end that we know experientially God as our Father and Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
The Creator of the heavens and the earth is our Heavenly Father. Our eternal relationship with Him is far more rewarding than what the world could ever offer.
It is important to recognize that a knowledge of God without a relationship with Him leads to an arrogant and haughty attitude. We should desire to go beyond just knowing about God, to the end that we walk and talk with Him as our Heavenly Father.
Philippians 2 gives us some very practical instruction in how to live with and for God.
Opening and closing music is provided by Sal Arico.
Episode 75: Stagger Not at the Promise of God Interview segment – Gerald Wrenn – Minister and author, Our Hope in Christ In today's program we look at believing God. Abraham is our example of believing. In Romans 4 it says that "Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in believing giving glory to God."
Abraham is the father of all those who believe. Abraham was a man who was a friend of God. He trusted and believed God. The ripple effect of Abraham's believing goes through today all the way to eternity.
We can look at Abraham's life and learn about some of what is needed in our walk with God as our Heavenly Father.
Our interview segment is with ordained Christian minister and author Gerald Wrenn as he shares with us on the topic of The Return of Jesus Christ. Gerald is the author of Our Hope in Christ. Gerald also teaches various seminars on God's Word throughout the United States.
Our Hope in Christ is a wonderful read on death and resurrection, the return of Jesus Christ and it clearly explains difficult verses regarding the return of Jesus Christ.
Our Hope in Christ may be ordered on Amazon. Gerald Wrenn may be reached at www.speaktomefather.com and on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/gerald.wrenn.7

Our labor is not in vain. There are great rewards throughout all eternity for those that plant and water the hearts of mankind with the Word of God.

Episode 73: Who Do You Trust? Interview segment – Charlie Quillen, Faithful in Christ Ministries, Rockford IL – Forgiveness Who do you trust? God is worthy of your trust! Our culture and society have greatly underestimated who God is and what He is capable of doing!
The very foundation of who we think God is affects our trust factor! As we look at God's Word and develop a relationship with Him as our Heavenly Father our trust grows! As our trust grows, our spiritual walk in this world increases. We begin to receive in evidence more and more of the treasures our Heavenly Father has for each of us.

Episode 71: Peace in this Crazy World! Interview segment - Bob Carden, pastor at Grace Christian Fellowship, Naperville IL - Freedom from Guilt and Shame
This world can be a most unpeaceful place. It’s easy to get caught up in the anxiety and worry of the world when we are watching the TV news or listening to talk radio or spending endless hours on the internet. Now, I’m not saying there is anything wrong with watching the news or listening to talk radio or surfing the net. But, if that is where we focus our mind and thoughts to receive information ….well then we will be most unpeaceful.
There is another way to live. There are no doldrums of everyday life when we know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and our Heavenly Father.
There is tremendous peace in Christ. A peaceful heart is free from anxiety and worry no matter what the circumstance, situation or temptation.
There is no genuine peace in the heart of a man or a woman until they know the Prince of Peace – the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our guest interview is with Bob Carden, pastor and teacher at Grace Christian Fellowship in Naperville IL. A couple weeks ago at Grace Christian Fellowship Bob taught on Freedom from Guilt and Shame. It was a teaching that really blessed my life. I trust you will enjoy Bob's sharing as well.

Episode 70: Seek God with Your Whole Heart
Earlier this week I read a couple verses from Psalm 119 that really got me thinking. Let’s read the verses first and then will look at them in some detail.
Psalm 119:10 – 11:
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
I had to ask myself the question “do I really seek God with my whole heart? Do I really treasure God’s Word in my heart so that I do His will and not my own?”
I desire to seek God with my whole heart as I’m sure you do to. I desire to treasure His Word in my heart so that I don’t sin by going “my own way” but rather I am well pleasing in His sight by doing His will.
This world with the circumstances of life, the lies, the deception by way of the pride of life and the deceitfulness of riches is continually calling us to move away from desiring the things of God and His Word.
If God is love….which He is … would His will for your life ever be harmful or detrimental to you? No.
So, I really think for us to desire to seek God with our whole heart we must first recognize that God is love and desires only good, only blessing – never harm or evil for any of us.
Today's program delves into the topic of Seeking God with Your Whole Heart.

There is an urgency to our day and time. It is an urgency to make known to the world the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is not a time to dance around the scriptures. It is a day to speak the truth with no hesitancy, no agenda, no ulterior motives, no games, no watering down the truth.

Episode 64: Freedom in Christ! Interview – Fred and Carol Blacksmith, Operation Freedom
This Independence Day weekend we are commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence which took place in July of 1776. In God’s Word we see the great freedom we have received spiritually in Christ.
Today this world so desperately needs men and women to live with the love of God, with the Word of God burning in their heart to the end they cannot help but speak those things which they know to be true. God’s Word is truth! God really has made Himself known to us today. It’s time to take God at His Word!
Decide right now that today is a new day with you and your Heavenly Father. The past is past. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Today is the day to believe that you are who God’s Word says you are. Today is the day to live in the spiritual freedom within which you have been called to. We ought to obey God rather than men. The eternal rewards from God far outweigh the fleeting rewards of this world.
Let God be glorified and let it be said today with amazement by those that see your life – “what power and authority has God given unto men.”

Episode 63: Light Dispels Darkness Interview – John Drake, Pastor and Chaplain
At night if you were to walk into a totally dark room, are you able to see anything? No, not really. Maybe if there is some light coming from a window, from a streetlight or the moon, you may be able to distinguish various items in the room as a shadow, despite that small amount of light you still do not see clearly.
When you turn on the light in a dark room the darkness leaves. You are able to see. Can the darkness ever extinguish the light? Never. The light will always dispel the darkness.
Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.
When God’s Word is made known it gives light. The unfolding, the revealing of God’s Word will give understanding or discernment to the simple. The simple are the humble, those who desire to know.
We see from the scriptures that God is Light and His Word is Light. You are a children of Light and when you manifest that Light by speaking and living God's Word signs, miracles and wonders take place. People's lives are changed!

Episode 60: God’s Magnificent Mercy! Interview – Scott Powell - Songwriter, musician and minister of God’s Word Please read below on why I replayed Scott's interview from July of 2015
Last week we looked at God’s magnificent grace. This week we will look at God’s magnificent mercy. God’s mercy toward mankind is evident all throughout history. Many times in God’s Word mercy is in the same context as grace.
Mercy is defined as loving-kindness. Mercy is loving and it is kind in the sense that it is the withholding of earned judgment. God’s mercy toward all mankind is found in the giving of His son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We have been judged in Christ and not of our own works – now that is mercy.
In this teaching we see wonderful examples of God's mercy displayed towards Lot, David and you!
Our interview segment is with Scott Powell. This interview is a replay from July of last year. I wanted to play it today and make a request of you the listener. Scott was in a motorcycle accident a little over a week ago. He is seeing miraculous healing deliverance and continues to need our prayer. Would you pray for him as you listen to the interview and continue to keep him in your prayers? We have played much of Scott’s music on The Solution Radio Show over the past year. I trust you will enjoy the interview with Scott and his music. Thank you for your prayers for Scott Powell.

Many have never been taught the power and influence their words have, not only in their own lives but in the lives of others. And then, some of us have been taught, but we either got tricked out of believing our words make a difference or we gave up because we didn’t see change on the timetable we had set.

Episode 52: Come Boldly unto the Throne of Grace Interview - Dan Hennenfent on Bolivia and short term mission trips - Cup of Cold Water Ministries
In this world today, sometimes life can be extremely difficult. If we dwell on negative thoughts about our self it is very hard to manifest joy and peace in our life. On the contrary, when we think God’s Word of our self and know who we are in Christ, then our life will be full of joy and peace.
God has not made us to be failures in this life. We cannot allow ourselves to think that the value of our life is defined by the circumstances we may find ourselves in. Our value is found in Christ and Christ alone. It is the spiritual realities that we must focus on and meditate on thanking our Heavenly Father for His love. Let us come boldly unto our Heavenly Father's throne of Grace!
Our interview segment is with Dan Hennenfent the Executive Director at Cup of Cold Water Ministries. Cup of Cold Water Ministries is a non-denominational ministry to both missionaries and those in need around the world. Episode 51: Where is Jesus Christ Today? Additional Sharing on I Thessalonians 5:1 - 3 Dan Mohler Sharing on Identification
The past couple weeks on The Solution Radio Show we looked at the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today we answer the question - Where is Jesus Christ today?
We know that almost 2000 years ago Jesus Christ was crucified and in his obedience all the way to death he redeemed mankind from eternal separation from God. Then 3 days later he was raised from the dead by God his Father.
Jesus Christ is the only man ever in the history of all mankind that has been raised from the dead and is eternally alive seated at God's right hand.
There is a short sharing on a section of scripture that I read a couple weeks ago. Since that time it has been on my heart and mind almost daily. The verses are I Thessalonians 5:1 - 3. In these verses I see the tremendous need for God’s people to share the good news of Jesus Christ to a perishing world. I trust these verses will touch your heart as they did mine.
Also there is an awesome 10 minute sharing by Dan Mohler on our identity in Christ.
Music is provided by for King and Country, Casting Crowns, Lisa Tracy and John Kano.
Episode 50: He is Risen! Interview - Mike Verdicchio - Minister, Author and Teacher www.confidenceandjoy.com
Three of the greatest words ever spoken are "He is Risen!"
Jesus Christ is the only one that has died and then been raised from the dead to his perfect, new spiritual body. He was God’s perfect sacrifice by his obedience to do all that his Father requested and all that the law demanded in order to redeem you and me. God showed his approval of the Lord Jesus Christ by raising him from the dead. What an incredible moment in time for all mankind.
Jesus Christ is alive today. In the scriptures we read several of the occurrences where Jesus Christ appeared to people in his resurrected body. We also see what his resurrection means to us today.
Our interview segment is with Mike Verdicchio. Mike is an ordained minister, author, Bible teacher and radio broadcaster. He has a blog which includes both audio and video. He resides in Arizona where he teaches a weekly Bible fellowship.
Mike can be reached through his blog www.confidenceandjoy.com.

Episode 49: Jesus Christ Our Passover Testimony - Prayer and Healing of a deaf person
This week being the week before we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead we take a look at Jesus Christ as our Passover Lamb and what that means to us today.
It is by the shedding of the innocent perfect blood of Jesus Christ that we are cleansed and released from sin and its guilt. Wow. Only God could have come up with this plan of salvation. Only the love of the Creator could make this available.
There is also a testimony that was called into our Praise Line that is about praying for others and the healing of a deaf person.
Music is provided by Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, Brandon Heath, Hitch Bros Band, Lauren Daigle and Jason Gray.
Episode 48: Living Life in Light of Christ's Return Interview – Dave Lacine – from C12 Group America's leading Christian CEO forum
Today we look at the imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The reason I use the word imminent is because the word imminent literally means “likely to occur at any moment.”
Don’t worry I’m not going to predict a day or a time or an hour because God’s Word tells us that no man knows the day or time of the Lord’s return. Only God knows! But the Lord Jesus Christ could return at any moment……Before you take your next breath. The first century church anticipated the Lord’s return to be at anytime.
We see the Thessalonians as a wonderful example as to how to live as we patiently wait for God's son from heaven.
Our interview segment is with Dave Lacine. Dave is with C12 Group. He will share with us about C12 which is a nationwide organization that helps leaders to develop to their true capacity … not only in the business world, but personally and spiritually, to be all that God has called them to be.

Episode 44: The Depth of God's Love Interview - Wayne Kuna founder of Soul Priority
Transcript of teaching (pdf) - The Depth of God's Love 2-14-16
The depth of God's Love begins in Genesis and finds it culmination in the return of Jesus Christ at the fullness of times to be lived for all eternity!
The Creator of the heavens and the earth. The one who put the stars, the planets and moons in motion; the one who designed all of creation that our eyes can see…..He formed man out of the dust of the ground and then He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and then man became a living soul.
God’s image is eternal life spirit. His image is light and His image is love. God is Spirit. God is Light. God is Love. The creator took who He is and placed it inside of man which He formed from the dust of the ground.
Why would the creator of the heavens and the earth do that? Because He is love. How deep is that love? The love of God has no end. The love of God has no limit. It is that love of the Creator of the heavens and the earth that resides within God’s people.
Our interview segment is with Wayne Kuna. Wayne had a 26 year career in the global toy industry where he holds over 50 patents. He has a Master’s degree from The Moody Bible Institute and for 8 years he served as the senior pastor at Oak Community Church in Hinsdale IL.

Communication is a vital part in the success of any relationship….whether it be between a husband and wife, parents and children or workplace relationships. There needs to be communication. All throughout God’s Word we see that prayer to our God and Father is the heart of the relationship that we are to have with Him. Prayer is communication. Prayer is not to be a ritualistic recitation of memorized words.

Are we to obey God or are we to obey men?
We are at a crossroads in our day and time. Christians in the United States of America today are coming under religious persecution for their beliefs and for their love for God
We’ve always thought that persecution was “over there.” The day has arrived where it is here.
Much of the Christian church in the United States has been numbed to complacency because of affluence and our lifestyle of comfort. We haven’t seen the need to stand up for truth because it is so much easier to just watch Sunday football and vote for our favorite American idol.

Each of us in the body of Christ have a purpose. Not a one of us have been misplaced or relegated by God to a function of insignificance. In the church, from the youngest to the oldest, we all have the same fullness in Christ and each of us have received all that is included in the gift of holy spirit. Each member in the church of God – which is the body of Christ – God’s church – is a member in particular with a specific calling and responsibility.
There is no room for comparison of one another or disdain of another’s calling and ministry. The bottom line and standard for each of us is the written Word of God and the spirit of God which works within the heart and life of an individual. The love of God the members of the church have for one another is to be the same love that Christ has for all within the church.

Episode 17: Mankind's Greatest Need Interview - Bob Carden - Topic of holy spirit
What does it profit a person to gain all the world and lose their own soul?
What would it mean to you if you had become one of the wealthiest people in the world? You had all that your heart might desire. Everywhere you went people knew who you were and paid homage to you hoping to receive some favor from you. You were powerful and much desired by others to be one’s friend. Your life was full with all that the world has to offer – yet you did not know God … your life was lost.
What I truly need – and if you are honest I trust you would say the same – What I truly need is more of God. More of an intimacy with my heavenly Father. A deeper and richer relationship with the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. Mankind’s greatest need is a relationship with the One True God.

Episode 15: Seek God Above All Else Interview - Jim Melton - Discussion of the Old Testament
What do we seek for day to day? What do we pursue to attain and consider to be of great value? Where is our time and energy spent?
There are some today that seek after God and the things of God. Those that do seek after God are at times dismissed by the world as being a little off or living to an undesirable extreme.
It’s relatively easy to follow the masses and pursue after riches, honor and the praise of men. It is not always easy to follow after God and His heart in this messed up world – it can at times be a bit of a struggle – almost as if you are like a fish fighting to get upstream – - - until your seeking of God flows from your heart. Then it becomes first nature. Then you have joy that’s irreplaceable in contrast to the happiness offered by the world.
There is great reward for the individual whose life flows out from the seeking of the One True God.
In the second half hour our guest interview is with a wonderful minister of God’s Word from Colorado Springs who has studied the Bible for over 35 years with his expertise being the Old Testament – from Faithful Stewards Bible Ministries – Jim Melton.
Music is provided by PlanetShakers, Kari Jobe, Jesus Culture and Lisa Tracy.
Episode 14: Are We Living in the End Times of the Book of Revelation? Interview - Jan Magiera - Minister and author of the Aramaic Peshitta New Testament
Today, the Christian church for the most part have lost the great joy and anticipation of looking to the Hope of the Lords return according to God’s timetable. Some have us living in the book of revelation today where the wrath of God is poured out upon those that have rejected God. Others are not even aware the Lord is going to return and hold to the belief that when one dies is when he enters into the presence of the Lord.
It is in God’s Word, which makes known God’s Will, where we will see the truth regarding the end times and the events surrounding that period.
The interview segment is with a wonderful woman of God and minister of God’s Word who has studied the Aramaic language for over 35 years and is the author of the Aramaic Peshitta New Testament Translation – Jan Magiera.
Jan Magiera's website Light of the Word Ministry
Music is provided by Dunamis, Lisa Tracy, Aaron Schaffer and John Kano.
Episode 13: God's Wisdom - Speak God's Word Interview - Scott Powell - Songwriter, musician and minister of God's Word
We see God's tremendous wisdom in the preaching of His Word. God is a gracious and merciful Father that desires all men and women to be saved.
The wisdom of men falls far short of God's wisdom found in the great mystery. There is great reward both now and throughout all eternity for those who plant and water the seed of God's Word in the hearts of men and women.
Also our guest interview is with songwriter, musician and minister of God's Word - Scott Powell. Scott shares his heart and life – it’s a segment you will not want to miss! 3 of Scott’s songs are played in this show - Let It Be Me, So Good and This Days for You. You may visit Scott’s website www.ScottPowellmusic.com
Also the song Redeemed by Big Daddy Weave is played.
Episode 12: Freedom!
This Independence Day weekend we are commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 in the second half of today’s show. In God's Word we see the freedom we have received spiritually in Christ.
Max McLean gives us his moving rendition of the Declaration of Independence.
Music is provided by Chris Tomlin, Unspoken, Joyful Noise, Ray Charles and Keith & Kristin Getty.
Episode 11: Complete in Christ Interview - Rachel Barbera - Songwriter, singer and musician
The heart longs for a relationship with God. The heart yearns to be accepted and loved. The heart of a man or a woman desires to know that they are whole and that their life really does matter. It is only through the work of Jesus Christ that we find wholeness.
When “we appear with him in glory” then we shall be able to fully appreciate that we are completely, completely, absolutely complete in him. How exciting it is to know that we are God’s children. The creator of the heavens and earth is our Father. You are complete in Christ! You lack nothing! Today, accept from our Father what has already been accomplished. You are complete in Christ!
Our guest interview is with Christian songwriter and singer Rachel Barbera. Rachel plays a couple of new songs live in studio. You can follow Rachel on Instragram as she travels cross country @thewaywardseason.
There is also music by Brandon Heath and Jason Gray.
Episode 10: A Matter of the Heart
When understanding the accomplished work of Jesus Christ - Which includes: his death on the tree, his resurrection from the dead, his ascension into heaven and his sending of the gift of holy spirit on the day of Pentecost – we know that our salvation is complete. There is no work on our part in order to be accepted by God. Jesus Christ is our righteousness.
It is now through God’s grace, mercy and love – which is demonstrated in the accomplished work of Jesus Christ – that we are able to live above the circumstances of the world making known the living Christ to a dying world.
