We spoke about her journey into the sport, making a Final 4 run at Cup 11 and how it feels to play with a team USA teammate! The guests share their experiences and explain what they believe teams should be doing to create a welcoming team. This roundtable discussion is for education and to learn about experiences that these guests have faced in this community. The goal is to listen and to learn and to hopefully use this platform to create change in this community.

In the last two weeks, we saw a black man being murdered by the police. His name was George Floyd. This sparked protests throughout the world calling for change. The Quidditch community has not been immune to those calls. These last two weeks have seen the issue of race and specifically the African American community in Quidditch. Here tonight we have 5 guests that have accepted the invitation to talk about the Black athlete in Quidditch. This roundtable discussion is for education and to learn about experiences that these guests have faced in this community. The goal is to listen and to learn and to hopefully use this platform to create change in this community.
