'Pixel Rain' marks the debut release from Moscow-based musician Dima Safronov, originally hailing from Bryansk. Dima brings fourteen years of DJ experience on his shoulders, he has organized numerous parties, and he's also curator of 5/8 Radio, a music station he founded eight years ago.'Pixel Rain' doesn't aim to be conceptual, but rather captures the mood of a specific moment, capable of sending listeners drifting along waves of memory. Four compositions feel like brief flashes of emotional impulses, joined together to form a unified whole. Two original tracks (including the title track, created in collaboration with Safronov’s close friend Robsn), seamlessly flow into two dance-oriented remixes, each reflecting and reinterpreting the mood of the originals.The second track - 'Shinichi Atobe, I am Your Son' is imbued with a dense, sun-drenched melancholy that unfolds gradually and unhurriedly, through an elegant counterpoint between a deep dub-inflected bassline and a ghostly, mist-like melody in the upper register.

@acid-youth is a project started in 2016 by Davide Nicosia, an electronic music producer based in Bologna.Under the influence of Chicago House, Krautrock and EBM, Acid Youth is a blend of troubled basslines, guitars, modular freakness, frozen pads, analogic distortions and overdriven drum machines.After the previous releases on MFZ Records and Land of Dance Records, Acid Youth comes to Elephant Gait with "My Acid", a 4 tracks EP that is a psychedelic clash between acid and space rock. Saturated drum machine, 303, organ and guitar are the main elements of these tracks."Polyptych" pays tribute to motoric drum rhythms; "My Acid" and its tense west-coast synth line drive you in a dark territory; "Regrets" is a flux of sounds with a 303 bassline as a mantra; "Despite" and its major scale close the EP and resolve the tension.

A DJ and music producer who left London and it's influences to work on his massive catalog of music.Setting up his studio in the deep countryside of North Devon UK, this four track EP 'Syberia', is the first of his forthcoming releases.Inspired by tribal music, culture and and this new climate agenda, he asked the question "does tribe intelligence give us the ability to achieve common goals as a group?"The title track Syberia gives a sonic feel to the vastness of this amazing country. As he points out logging in Siberia hit 16.3 million acres last year, (most of this exported to China) compared to 9.1 million acres lost in the Amazonia.Instead of measuring the size and number of weapons throwing huge money at them that could feed and drink the whole of Africa, each of us only needs to plant one (maybe two) trees on earth, almost 9 billion trees can save us from climate change because trees absorb carbon dioxide, giving us oxygen in return. Tagliabue releases his debut mini-album Ambiente Sonoro on Elephant Gait Music with six contemporary tracks deeply inspired by the reality that surrounds us.
Imagination has no limits, when stimulated by sounds that slowly shade and snake in the listener’s conscious.
Library music is a genre that introduced an extensive use of electronic sounds and high techniques in music making, these experimental and psychedelic compositions enriched Italian radio, film and television soundtracks during the 70s. Artists like Daniela Casa, Egisto Macchi and Piero Umiliani provided scores for documentaries, educational projects and other sound installations; they influenced and helped the Milan based artist to produce his debut mini-album “Ambiente Sonoro”. His experience as a music selector and his previous productions anticipate the character of this new contemporary work. A record that cannot be placed in a specific genre. Ancestral rhythms, post-industrial waves, apocalyptic chants and modular drones, suggest a mental projection into a new planetary system consisting of six bodies with different landscapes, kept in orbit by a cosmic sound perturbation. A dreamy state of emotional, protracted and reflective abandonment.
Tagliabue is a sound engineer, selector and music producer based in Milan. His meticulous musical research reflects an eclectic style characterized by an Italian attitude which is the expression of the love for his land and its traditions. Tracing a music-temporal path that comes from folk sounds mixed with contemporary electronic, he takes inspiration from the environment that surrounds him and breaks down the boundaries between the genres blending its musical influences and reinterpreting its origins with a propensity towards the future.

The Futurists rejected tradition and introduced experimental sounds , and this fact, that influenced a lot of composers during the 20th century, helped them to build a concept that started the career of Barcelona based duo Iro Aka. The evolution of their music started with this EP, fluctuating through psychedelic and esoteric influences, taking as its main references the continuous technological evolution and those new techniques to make electronic music. “Futur” is an extract of the first ideas of Iro Aka. They started the project at the beginning of the 2017 and then this EP was produced then, showing the abstraction that they felt at that moment, a path drawn by different sounds that came from different people and different places. Tapan leaves their mark on Zukunft with reimagining the original as a slowly building, tribal inspired and almost sitting in an alternative timeline. Clever use of percussive elements does not take away from the track being playable in the club. The slightly psychedelic dance floor experience is delivered by Anatolian Weapons. Pulsating rhythms intertwine with classic drum sounds and paint a mood almost contradicting the vocals of the track. Perfect secret track for any dance-floor.
