A zero-knowledge neural network (ZKANN) has been proposed by Ross Ulbricht to resolve the tradeoff betweeen privacy for individuals for encryption and bad actors exploiting this privacy for nefarious purposes. Fairly exciting! I give a basic overview as I understand it.
I also briefly discuss the fact that a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) amendment is still being considered by US legislators, a move that always has a global impact.

Private email calendar solutions that sync across your devices without needing technical know-how havan't been around until recently. This is at least to my knowledge. I found out about Tutanota, an email service similar to ProtonMail but with a private calendar as well.

Apple vs FBI Privacy
Although Apple may, in principle, want to secure our privacy by not allowing government backdoors for their iCloud servers, they're not doing so, and they're not doing so under the threat of coercion from the FBI. We're just finding out, even though it allegedly happened two years ago!

Brave, a privacy-focused browser headed by Brendan Eich, is the creator of the Basic Attention Token (BAT), used in the Brave browser to monetize an attention economy that is fair to creators, advertisers, and users. Produced by the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS) and the National Space Development Agency (NASDA), the spacecraft was launched on September 14, 2007. After successfully orbiting the Moon for a year and eight months, the main orbiter was instructed to impact on the lunar surface near the crater Gill on June 10, 2009.

The IRS issued approximately 10,000 letters to warn U.S. crypto holders of remaining in compliance with tax code. Three variations of the letter were sent - 6173, 6174 and 6174-A. One asked for a signature of declaration of compliance under penalty of perjury. This letter was the milder warning version 6174-A. The point is, the IRS has its eyes on crypto users!

Have you noticed that as the price of Bitcoin goes up, altcoin prices go up? And have you also noticed that as the price of Bitcoin goes down, altcoin prices go down? This might seem like basic information if you are already a crypto-enthusiast. But perhaps, like myself, you would like to have a deeper understanding of what exactly is happening with the price volatility of alt-coins and why they so closely follow the troughs and peaks of Bitcoin. I also wanted to play around with concepts from traditional economic theory, such as supply and demand, and cross-price elasticity, to help frame what is going on.
