What do you do when you encounter a difficult passage in Scripture? How have you learned to process and understand it? For example, Israel's conquest of Canaan is a difficult passage for many modern readers. Why would God lead his people in this way and what relevance do passages like these have for our own day?
Pastor Lawrence is joined by Pastor Danny and Pastor Eric as they consider a threefold lens for approaching the Canaanite Conquest in the book of Joshua: (1) understanding the biblical context and placement, (2) understanding the cultural/historical context, and (3) understanding the text in light of Jesus and the New Covenant.
