In this episode, I explain the mindset you need to achieve this and the dedication it takes to make it happen.
While AI has been around for a while, it has recently gained significant attention in mainstream media and among marketers and business owners. Shaun believes that many people view AI as complicated and unimaginable for business owners, but he emphasizes that AI can be manageable, comparing it to another team member or hired person.
Shaun discusses how AI can assist with tasks such as writing copy and improving content, particularly through a main AI terminology called chat GBT. However, it's important to note that the AI's performance relies on the quality of the content it has access to, and its knowledge is limited to learnings up until 2019. To address this limitation, plugins are available to enable referencing the internet. Nevertheless, the AI cannot differentiate between good and bad content, potentially leading to inaccurate or unreliable information. Thus, it is crucial for users to review all information provided by the AI for accuracy.
Shaun emphasizes the importance of creating initial content in various formats, such as writing, videos, or podcasts. He mentions the existence of tools that can help reach a larger audience by repurposing content. Specifically, he refers to a tool that can transcribe and analyze full podcast episodes, providing timestamps and keywords. This tool can also be used for creating YouTube videos.
Furthermore, Shaun discusses another tool that provides TikTok scripts for Instagram reels, LinkedIn posts, emails, and follow-up discussion questions. While acknowledging that this tool makes a big promise, Shaun believes it has done a pretty good job so far. Without this tool, creating all that content would have taken a considerable amount of time. However, he emphasizes the importance of reviewing the generated content to ensure it aligns with the intended message.
Shaun found a powerful feature in a video tool that allows him to click on it and watch it back. Below the video, there is functionality that provides next action steps, enhancing productivity through AI. During meetings, this tool itemizes tasks and assignments in bullet points, with the responsible party and task description.
Although AI has the ability to generate images, Shaun acknowledges that its current performance in this area is only satisfactory. He encourages business owners to approach AI with an open mind and excitement, promising that matching the right tool with a task will yield significant benefits.
Shaun offers to discuss AI further via email at hello@bluecowmarketing.com, providing an opportunity for listeners to explore the topic in more depth. He also mentions a tool that uses AI to transcribe and cut uploaded videos into different reels for various platforms. This tool also provides descriptions, keywords, and hashtags for the videos. However, Shaun finds the editing capabilities of this tool unsatisfactory and plans to stop using it in the future, anticipating the release of a better alternative tool.
In conclusion, Shaun advises business owners not to view AI as something that will entirely replace their role. He shares a technique he has been using in client and sales meetings, which has proven effective in capturing important information without the need for writing. He recommends a tool called Descript, which costs $20 a month but also offers a free version, for transcription and script generation. Shaun personally uses Adobe Audition to record episodes and then imports the audio into Descript for transcription. The Descript transcript is then utilized in chat GPT to generate five to seven quotes.

In this podcast episode, the host discusses the importance of backlinks for online visibility and search engine optimization (SEO). The term 'backlink' is explained as a link from another website pointing to your website. The host highlights the importance of quality over quantity in backlinks, explaining that having numerous low-quality or spammy backlinks can negatively affect your online reputation.
Ways to gain high-quality backlinks are explored, such as listing on directories, guest appearances on podcasts, and writing guest blogs. The host advises against buying backlinks, as these are often low-quality and can harm your online reputation.
The concept of 'disavowing' backlinks is introduced. This refers to telling Google to ignore certain low-quality backlinks that might be damaging your website's reputation. The host discusses a tool that his agency offers to help clients see and rank their backlinks by domain quality.
The host also emphasizes the importance of diversifying the sources of backlinks, suggesting to be featured in different types of sources like blog posts, industry directories, social media platforms, and news media sites. He further underlines the significance of relevance in backlinks - it's vital that the industry and the niche of the websites where you are being listed are relevant to your audience.
Lastly, listeners are encouraged to use the free SEO assessment tool available on the host's website, which provides information on their SEO ranking and the number of backlinks they have, among other details.

An experience with my son this morning got me thinking about beliefs and what they mean in your content and your business.

The biggest breakdown that happens in the growing of an email list is....THE EMAILS.
Yeah I know right! you have all the intentions of building your list and you then have an auto reply thanking them for subscribing but then what...nothing.
You draw a blank, you don't know what to say and it leaves you standing around like "Steve Urkel" from the 90's sitcom Family Matters saying "Did I Do That?"
Well in fact you didn't do that...you did nothing.
Let's change that right now and spend the next 23 minutes listening to what the "Fresh Princess of Email" can teach you about creating emails that convert to sales.

This unfortunately is a common thing when it comes to growing a business. You start out with a ton of time, energy, and drive. You provide amazing work and you get more clients.
Then you max out your time. So you bring on someone else (most times quickly) and they don't provide the same level of service. So you start to get unhappy clients.
You are too busy to fix the issue so you continue on and it gets worse and worse.
What went wrong? Well the problem, in this case, is you didn't set yourself up for scaling and growth and document the proper things to allow for bringing on someone else.
In this episode, I share with you a real-life example I just experienced in my personal life today about this.

If you've been following the dialog in Canada this week around the dismissal of Lisa Laflamme, you will know there is a strong public support for her and that CTV's decision was sexist.
This is a huge movement and a few Canadian brands have jumped on board for support.

In this episode, I share a story about taking my son to the fair and how that experience has a lot of lessons parallel to running your business.

eWebinar Cofounder and CEO, Melissa Kwan, has spent twelve years in startups and built three successful companies without venture capital backing. Her previous startup, a real estate tech company, was acquired in 2019. As a revenue-driven founder specializing in sales and business development, she has learned how to build companies with very few resources — by automating what she could, outsourcing wherever possible, and inspiring talented people to join her team with shared focus and enthusiasm.
Over the last decade, Melissa has come to believe that happiness should be the foundation of one’s career, not the other way around, and that the way to achieve this is by intentionally designing one’s life.
This belief was born in part from the soul-crushing experience Melissa endured giving the same webinar over and over again while onboarding and training customers for her previous SaaS company.
She wanted to free others from the same trap by giving them a way to automate their repetitive webinars, so they could get their time back and spend it doing something else they value more instead of being tied to Zoom all the time.

You're not alone. You've been trying to stand out in the business world for years, but you just can't seem to do it (or at least you think you can't)
You want people to know your name and not forget what you do or who you are, but instead of that happening, they just don't even notice you at all. They see other companies with flashy logos and products that wow them as much as a new iPhone every day, so why would they care about yours?
It's time for something different because those days when your company was thought of without any hesitation by everyone are over. It's time to stop being invisible and start making a statement - one way or another.
In this episode, it's a topic that Jody and I are discussing.

You might be thinking, "oh I'm not really the type of person to take risks." But let me tell you something, if you are an entrepreneur then you have taken a risk. It's time for us all to stop being afraid and start taking risks because that is what will make us grow in business.
It's hard to believe but there was once a time when people were too scared to try new things and this fearfulness led them into poverty. Nowadays, we can't afford that anymore so it's up to each one of us as individuals to get out there and take some chances with our businesses or at least know how much risk we are taking before we do anything. Let me ask you: would you rather stay safe.

Do you feel disorganized in your business, in your marketing. Can't find out where you are at with your projects?
This disorganization is killing your productivity and your bottom line.
Are you struggling with what to invest in your marketing. How much money should you spend? What's the time commitment?
These are all very much great questions that are answered in this episode.
We see it all too often, business owners are ignoring their social media. Not putting enough attention into it because they don't think it has value or will give them a return.
This is a BIG MISTAKE. You NEED to have a social presence.

Who ever said you can't teach an old dog new tricks has never met my client.
This episode I'm going to share a story with you about a 60+ year old client of mine who took on the challenge of marketing herself with online video.
Over the last several months I've seen huge transformation in quality and confidence just by following the small incremental steps I speak about in this show.
When we get busy in our lives and our business we tend to let the things that make the biggest impact to our development slip.
We don't focus on learning new things every month to expand our minds, to gain new skills or to grow our business.
This is something I started to do and have decided to go back to focusing on.
What are you doing to better yourself?
When I learned how to say NO to the things I didn't feel excited about in business or the demands I was receiving from potential clients, I was then able to gain the FREEDOM I wanted out of being an entrepreneur.
There are many things that are coming out of the Covid Crisis this year, one of them is the comfort and convenience that people are feeling with online ordering.
This is a huge opportunity for you to look at your business differently and reinvent how you operate online.
While your homepage is essential and great, it's not always the first impression people have of your website.
What about all the other doors they can come through.
In this episode we explore those and how you should take a look at the first impression you're making.
The Covid Crisis is causing alot of professionals to rethink how they meet with their clients.
In this episode I want to talk about how that is and what you can do about it.
One of the shortcomings of running facebook ads without fully understanding the metrics is that you can't make informed decisions if you don't know what you're looking at, or don't know where to find that information.
Society has been conditioned to consume content by scrolling (not clicking) and there are so many website out there that are not making that connection.
You're missing out,
Stop driving cold traffic right to your offer and expecting conversions, it's not going to happen.
In this episode, I share a strategy to get better and more reliable offer conversion just by adding a few front layers to your content.
If you're always trying to up your game and provide the most you can for clients, outdoing the previous client experience that's great. However, it needs to be consistent.
Consistently trumps anything one off exceptional.
The human brain has a part that becomes activated when it sees something externally that it considers a part of survival or reproduction.
Positioning your products this way can cause your prospects to become more alert to you and help you make more sales.
There are a lot of different microphones you could use when starting out, but not all of them are good for your application.
In this episode, I'll give you a run down on what to think about when getting started.
You need Youtube in your business life. The power it can bring to your content strategy is unreal and when you take these tips into consideration you will have a great lead generation tool.
Going into a call with a prospect with the mindset that you need them in order to survive that month is a bad thing to do.
You need to approach your calls differently in order to success.
This episode I teach you about this important concept shift.
There are 12 stages to intimacy and the way you work with leads to prospect to clients have a very close connection to these 12 stages.
https://www.noblechoices.org/12-stages-of-intimacy/
You may have never used a content calendar before in your business? However you've committed to created new and more engaging content with your audience. So I want you to think more strategic and intentional about your content. That means what and when you will release it.
The shift in email marketing is real and what you need to focus on to grow your professional business needs to change in order to better leverage email.
It's a secondary (would you like sprinkles on that ice cream) method of communication.
I explain all that in this episode.
There are many different types of content to leverage in your professional business, but what are they?
This episode I walk you through what I would consider to be the top content modalities you can use.
Your content ideas are everywhere in your business. When you start to become aware to it and condition yourself to document them as they happen, you will have a never ending library of content to pull from when it comes time to make your next piece of awesome content.
At the root of your ability to scale your business is your mind. The way you think about yourself, your business and what you have to offer others can be greatly increased by resetting your mindset each and every morning.
This is something we aren't conditioned to do naturally as humans, but when it's practiced repeatedly you brain begins to take it as something that is normal.
In this episode I challenge you to think differently about you, your business and your lifestyle. Take the time to listen to what I have to say and do the exercise I prescribe at the end.
This episode is the welcome to the beginning of a journey together. We will be exploring content, how to leverage technology to make your content even more awesome, and most importantly how to amplify your reach while reducing the time needed to do that.
