What does it mean to be chosen…what is the feeling it evokes? God has chosen you…will you accept His free gift of mercy and grace? He has not only chosen us for our eternal salvation, but He has plans for you that start the moment you accept Him into your heart by faith and believe Him! Peter writes this letter to encourage believers who are facing religious pressures and persecutions.
He explains that the various trials they are facing are important for building their faith and he exhorts them to endure hardships, to be humble in relationships, and to remember Jesus’ Lordship through it all.
He addresses the importance of submission and discusses doctrines such as election, sanctification, and justification.
He also encourages church leaders to shepherd well, and encourages the church to support those who are leading.
Ultimately, Peter reminds all believers of their heavenly inheritance and encourages them to stay the course because the trials they’re facing are necessary for the establishing of A Fire-Tested Faith

A thousand years is a long time, however it is like a day to God. Contrary to popular belief, Satan is not the equal to God – God even uses an angel to take hold of him and bind him for a thousand years. Why only a thousand years? Come and see, as we witness more of God’s plan unfold and fall more in love with Him in the process.
Jesus the coming King, no longer as a Lamb, but as a Lion in His full glory as King of Kings and Lord of Lords! This is what will enfold before all the nations, armies and eyes of the world. Have you ever wondered what it would be like for True justice to be served? True and Righteous judgements from a place of absolute purity? This is that place in chapter 19 of Revelation, of celebration for it being done… and then Jesus consummating the marriage supper as He lifts up the His Bride (the church) to sit at the table, pure and holy in His presence! Chapter 18 of Revelation continues with the economic collapse of the world and the root of it is the “love” of money… This study will help each one of us evaluate our own hearts and see if there are really unseen roots in us that might be entangled with the things of the world and how we can remedy this…giving us the freedom we never knew existed.
As the enemy has been slowly bringing together his plan to sway the world into a one-world government, religion and control, God has allowed it for His overall plan for its ultimate destruction and His victory. The final judgements of God are to be released…yet there are still those that are still resisting and battling against God Almighty! The bowl judgements are being poured out through righteousness that is just and deserved, but they “did not repent.” What is a repentance that God recognizes? Have you ever been “sorry” for something or to someone and what were the outward as well as inward signs that was the evidence of that? The final Righteous acts of judgements are about to be poured out upon the earth—they are calculated and Holy. Yet, mankind on the earth is still resistant to God… Come and hear as Pastor Troy unpacks these judgements and learn where a calloused and resistant heart can lead.
A farmer reaps a harvest when wheat has become fully grown, however, this is a different type of reaping altogether. Many weeds can look just like the wheat when they are in early growth; it is only in the latter growth that the difference can be determined by the farmer. Many of us love music and new songs that come out. Here we find in Revelation that a New song is being played before the throne of God. A New phase on earth in the tribulation that involves a new group standing before the Lamb—144,000 and what do they have written on their foreheads? Come and see…this Sunday!
The False Prophet—who might he be, where might he come from, and how will he establish a system of accountability? Why does satan tend to counterfeit the things already established by God? Many questions and more this Sunday as we look at his approach and agenda…
Who is the dragon and who is the beast? The many symbolisms can seem confusing but they represent realities from the world we currently live in. If you’ve ever pondered what these symbolisms mean from the Word of God, come and learn with us together as Pastor Troy unpacks this section of scripture!
War and conflict is something that we are no stranger to. Yet there is a greater battle constantly going on in the spiritual realm for our minds and hearts by Satan himself. Are you secure and safe in Christ? The eternal battle for your soul can be can be settled by what God offers each one of us, as well as His constant Presence to help in our times of need. Satan has his targets but he also knows God’s plans—come and be refreshed and encouraged through this time!
Regardless of what we see in Revelation and how weighty the judgements are, we can be sure of one thing and that is that God’s will shall be done and that He will still reign! This encourages us as followers of Christ and we can rejoice in the fact that our investment in Christ is for an eternal joy!
In the midst of the judgements of God, there are always lights that point to Him… He always offers a chance to turn and choose life; to choose Him. We see two examples of who God is using in the world during this historical time on the earth. Are you available…for God to use, for His light, His message, or His love? Come and hear as Pastor Troy continues to expound on the book od Revelation!
The judgements of God continue and in the midst, the heart and prophecies of God still call out to all humanity through His messengers. Have you heard what God is saying to you now? Come and hear what He says at this point in Revelation to the Apostle John and what He says for John not to repeat.
The onslaught of the judgements of God continues throughout all the earth. One thing in the midst of all the pain is the heart of humanity as they continually resist the call to repent—eternal salvation is freely offered to all mankind, yet mankind is delusionally resistant. We all have hearts of stubbornness and we all can struggle with obedience… May this lesson teach us to come to His fountain today, from the heart of a merciful God that is still just.
Cataclysmic events from both within the earth and without. Fantastical imagery and from a demonic origin, so the judgements of God continue to unfold before resistant hearts. Are they symbolic or literal? Come and see as Pastor Troy expounds upon God’s Word.
Silence in heaven for about half an hour… This is an ominous and impending silence, pregnant with an awe of the coming righteous judgements of God. God judges righteously and at the same time receives the prayers of all His children (saints.) Come and be encouraged as Pastor Troy unpacks the seven trumpet judgements upon the earth.
The last words from last week’s study was, “and who is able to stand?” God is in the middle of His judgements, yet His plan is still in motion as He protects His servants that He has chosen within the nation of Israel. God always remembers His people and always cares for His people through His purposes and plan. Come and see His plan and your part in it as well!
The cry of the martyred; the cry of the misled; the cry for vindication! Have you ever been truly misled or taken advantage of, especially if you were in the right…? One thing we can be sure of—God is Just and God vindicates…perfectly. Come and be encouraged as we look forward to this event and witness the justness of our loving God over all creation and especially those that are His…
The God of miracles; the God who brings Life; the God who IS Life, says, “I AM the resurrection.” As Pastor Troy unpacks the documented evidence for the resurrection of Jesus, the Christ, may you understand the great importance of this event as well as the great stamp of God’s Love and Promises for you today!
He was King, yet a servant, and willing to BE the required sacrifice for you…because there was no other way. This was the kind of Love that was initiated by God towards you, from eternity past…and is still the kind of Love that beckons you and the rest of humanity. Come and look upon the One, with us, who gave all because of His great Love…for you!
The One who was prophetically foretold to bring salvation not only to the Jew, but to the entire world!
The chance of this happening in one person, at one time, and in one place is mathematically preposterous…yet, God, Messiah, Lord, and Judge who is sovereignly outside time and space keeps His promises to those He loves. Come and be amazed at the preciseness and love of, “The Famous One.”
Judgements or “judging” is definitely a hot topic in our
culture today, however, if something is being judged
through evidence and in truth is there a justified cause
for this to be…right? Pastor Troy will open and unpack
