Collin reviews the “legendary” Bigfoot film Feed The Gods mentioned in the same breath as masterpieces such as Red Island, Primal Rage, After Dusk They Come, and The Open House. The brilliant acting by the three main characters leads to moments of such raw emotion and realism that it showcases their true power as actors. At times Collin was speechless and in a trance-like state. While he was watching this masterpiece of the Bigfoot genre of horror films unfold before his very eyes.

You will have to look far and wide to find a worse horror movie than 2014’s Don’t Blink. The film is a complete train wreck full of awful acting, a beyond laughable story and a idiotic ending with zero payoff. I decided to review The Reef: Stalked, the sequel to The Reef, an Australian shark horror film from 2010. I have seen The Reef multiple times, and for a lower-budget shark film, it was well done and had enjoyable shark attacks and a decent cast of characters. After twelve years, the original director Andrew Traucki is back.
The sequel is a sequel in name only. You do not have to see The Reef to enjoy this film or understand what is happening in the plot.
The plot involves a young woman's sister dying at the film's beginning. And she develops PTSD after that traumatic event. Then, nine months later, she and three of her friends go on a three-day kayaking trip and are soon stalked by a shark.

The masterpiece spy thriller North by Northwest was released in 1959 and directed by legendary director Alfred Hitchcock. The main plot deals with an advertising executive in New York City named Roger Thornhill, played by the legendary leading man Carey Grant. Unfortunately, Mr. Thornhill is the victim of mistaken identity, and the film's plot deals with him traveling by train, car, bus, and plane all over the country from a group of evil spies.
Another important character in the film is Eve Kendall. The brilliant Eva Marie Saint plays her. The main villain is the ringleader of a spy organization Phillip Vandamm, played by James Mason. And his second in command is Leonard, played by the fantastic Martin Landau.
Some of the incredible locations chosen for filming were Grand Central Station, Chicago Midway Airport, United Nations Headquarters, LaSalle Street Station, Mount Rushmore, and more!

The Vietnam war epic Full Metal Jacket was released in 1987, directed by Stanley Kubrick, starring Mathew Modine as Private Joker Vincent D'Onofrio as Private Leonard, and Lee Ermey as Sergent Hartman.
The plot revolves around Marnie recruits training on Parris Island for eight weeks during the Vietnam War. Sergeant Hartman is played by Lee Ermey, who portrays their foul-mouthed, harsh, and ruthless drill instructor.

The classic mystery and comedy film The Lady Vanishes, directed by Alfred Hitchcock and released in 1938, is considered the film that put Hitchcock on the radar of Hollywood.
The main stars are a beautiful, wealthy young woman named Iris Henderson, played by the 1940s star Margaret Lockwood, and an older mysterious woman named Miss Froy, played by Dame May Whitty. Micheal Redgrave plays Iris's love interest Gilbert in his first big break, and the comedy duo obsessed with cricket, Caldicott, and Charter are played by Naunton Wayne and Basil Radford. Finally, a menacing doctor named Dr. Hartz, played by Paul Lukas, is equipped with an evil laugh.
The movie starts by showing an eccentric band of travelers stuck in an Eastern European ski mountain town for the night while they wait for their train. During this part, you meet a colorful cast of characters from a group of clog dancers, the comedy duo Caldicott and Charters, a beautiful English woman, a singer, and a mysterious older woman.
The plot is about a woman named Iris Henderson who gets bumped on the head before her long train journey from the ski lodge. She meets Miss Froy, and they become friends. And suddenly, during the trip, Miss Froy vanishes into thin air. Oh my goodness!!!

For this week's episode, I chose to review The film Dial M for Murder, a highly acclaimed classic crime thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock based on the wildly successful Broadway play by Frederick Knott.
The plot revolves around a retired English tennis player named Tony Wendice who discovers his wife Margot, a wealthy socialite, is having an affair with a crime fiction writer named Mark Halliday. Tony then plans the perfect murder to remove his wife from the picture and inherit her vast fortune.
The film stars legendary actor Ray Milland as Tony Wendice, the highly talented Academy Award winner Grace Kelly as his wife Margot, successful actor Robert Cummings plays Margot's lover Mark Halliday, and British actor John Williams plays Chief Inspector Hubbard.

I watched The 1944 masterpiece Double Indemnity for this week's episode, directed by Billy Wilder. The film stars superstar Fred MacMurray as Insurance Salesmen Walter Neff, award-winning star actress, and one of my favorites Barbara Stanwyck as the femme fatale, alluring and manipulative wife Phyllis Dietrichson and the longtime actor known for playing tough guys Edward Robinson as Insurance Investigator Barton Keyes.

The 2001 B-movie disaster film Venomous checks all the familiar movie tropes corrupt government officials, evil military leaders, and mad scientists. The film's plot is about a pair of middle eastern assassins who break into a secret government lab in California. The scientists are genetically modifying Rattlesnakes with a virus they will use in battle against the USA's enemies, and of course, the snakes escape setting up the events of the film.
The main character is Dr. David Henning, the doctor of the small town of Santa Mira Springs, California, where the film takes place. He is played by Treat Williams, known for being in many movies and tv shows.

The film 12 Angry Men is considered one of the best courtroom dramas and one of the best films ever made. The plot is about 12 male jurors of different backgrounds, personalities, and professions who need to decide the fate of a young teenager accused of murdering his father. If found guilty, he will be executed.
The main stars are the fantastic Henry Fonda, who plays juror number 8. Initially, the only juror who chooses to vote the defendant, not guilty after a preliminary vote. Two-time Academy Award-nominee Lee J. Cobb plays juror number 3, the ringleader who argues for the defendant's guilt. Next, we have Academy-Award winner Ed Begley, juror number 10, portrayed as an awful man. Next, we have the longtime successful actor, E.G., Marshall as juror number 4, who is very calm and analytical. The last main character who deserves mention is juror number 7, a baseball fanatic played by Academy Award nominee Jack Warden.

Enter The Dragon is one of the most outstanding action and martial arts films of all time and has inspired video games such as Street Fighter, the anime Dragon Ball Z and countless parodies. He is a martial arts renegade and crime lord Han in this film. Ahna Capri plays Tania, Han's secretary on the island. Finally, Bob Wall portrays Han's bodyguard O' Hara and the nemesis of Lee. Jackie Chan is also in the movie as one of Han’s prison thugs, he is in a scene towards the end with Bruce Lee where Bruce is fighting guards with Nunchakus.

The film Laura, directed by Otto Preminger in 1944, is considered one of the best film noirs of all time. My mother recommended this week's great movie. And this week's episode is also a tribute to my grandma Carol. The film's plot is about a beautiful, highly successful advertising executive named Laura Hunt who is murdered in the doorway of her apartment. Detective Mark McPherson is on the case to solve her murder and figure out which of the three main suspects, her best friend Waldo Lydecker, finance Shelby Carpenter, or aunt Ann Treadwell, committed the horrific crime. The film stars the academy award-nominated and immensely talented leading lady Gene Tierney who plays Laura Hunt. Film Noir leading man Dana Andrews portrays Detective Mark McPherson. Academy Award winner Cliffton Webb is Laura Hunt's mentor and best friend, Waldo Lydecker. The fantastic horror actor and often villain Vincent Price comes to life as her finance Shelby Carpenter. Lastly, one of the greatest classical actresses of all time, Judith Anderson, portrays Laura's, Aunt Ann Treadwell.

The film Three Days of the Condor, directed by Sidney Pollack, released in 1975, was loosely based on the novel Six Days of the Condor by James Grady. The recommendation for choosing this film was from my father.
The film stars the excellent Academy Award winner Robert Redford as the main character CIA analyst Joseph Turner, the fantastic Academy Award winner Faye Dunaway as his "lover" Kathy Hale, the longtime successful actor Max von Sydow as the assassin Joubert, and the talented Academy Award recipient Cliff Roberston as CIA Director Higgins.

The Hound of the Baskervilles was a film adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's 1902 Sherlock Holmes novel of the same name. The inspiration for choosing to review and watch this film was my sister buying me the complete works of Sherlock Holmes for Christmas.
The movie stars the excellent Peter Cushing, best known as Baron Frankenstein, Grand Moff Tarkin, and Abraham Van Helsing. Christopher Lee is best known for playing Count Dracula, Count Dooku, Francisco Scaramanga, and Saruman the White. The dependable theatre actor André Morell, the often villainous Francis de Wolff, and Italian actress Marla Landi.
The film's plot begins with Doctor Richard Mortimer asking Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson's help in investigating the death of his friend Sir Charles Baskerville.

For season six of History From The Back Pages, host Collin Sugg will review classic films from before 1999 that he has not watched before. For the first episode of season six, he watched The Eiger Sanction from 1975, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Clint Eastwood, George Kennedy, Jack Cassidy, and Vonetta McGee. The filming took place in Switzerland, Arizona, Utah, and California. The mountain climbing sequences on Mount Eiger in Switzerland were breathtaking and brilliantly filmed and performed by Clint Eastwood (1:00).

Manx2 Flight 7100 took off from Belfast, Northern Ireland, on February 10th, 2011, on route to Cork, Ireland. The flight was supposed to be a routine one-hour commuter flight, but various problems led to the horrific crash. The immense fog, the right engine on this Fairchild Metro III's quality, the pilot's inexperience, and Manx2 operating procedures were key reasons why the plane crashed on the runway.

Collin looks into the lives of Eunice Kennedy Shriver & Sargent Shriver. Eunice is a member of the Kennedy family and is the founder of the Special Olympics ,which she started in 1968 to empower people with intellectual disabilities to find their full potential through sports and competitions (John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum & Library). Sargent Shriver met Eunice in 1947 while he was working for Joseph P. Kennedy, her father. They married in 1953 at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. He was the director of The Peace Corps from 1961-1966 and the 1972 vice-presidential candidate under the nominee George McGovern. They were destroyed in a landslide by President Nixon in the 1972 election.
