When you think of the word “soul”, what comes to mind? Maybe images of an ethereal spirit like essence that lives inside of you. Or maybe it’s what will get judged by God and sent to paradise or hell. But what does the Bible say the soul is and even more interesting is what does the soul have to do with trans humanism!?

We are launching our first episode of a new series of episodes called "Fireside Chats". They will be a shorter version of our shows and will include Chuck and Omar having a casual conversations about a certain topic or person that have caught their attention. It is a somewhat behind the curtain look into how our episode ideas are fleshed out. For the first episode the guys recently went to a lecture given by Dr. Jordan B. Peterson. Dr. Peterson is a Clinical Psychologist and a Professor from the University of Toronto in Canada. The guys go into some of what Jordan Peterson discusses in his lectures on you tube. On today's show we have our returning guest Matt Miller of the YouTube channel "Logos Made Flesh".He explains to us how the book of Mark is like the movie "Inception" by Christopher Nolan. What? Yes the book of Mark has such an abrupt ending that most people believe it was not supposed to end that way because there are no earlier manuscripts dating before chapter 16 verse 8. It ends with the original scriptures stating the women left after they spoke to the young man. The physical appearance of a resurrected Jesus is not apparent within the text. How is this the only gospel that does not mention this incident? Perhaps because that was not the intention of the author. This and many more topics are spoken about in this episode.

Is patriotism dead? With the Presidential election coming in November, we here at FTR started to question our beliefs in regards to this very complicated subject.
