Sermon from Riverside Baptist Church on March 29th, 2020 Pastor Joe goes through Matthew 6:16-18, and gives a call to the Church to Fast in Prayer during this time in order to draw closer to God, and intercede for those who are struggling with this Global Pandemic, either Physically, Financially, Spiritually, or Emotionally.
Pastor Joe went through the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13, and gave us some practical steps of application as we look to Christ's Example for how we should pray during these hard times.
Pastor Joe continues our time through the book of Matthew, and we have come to Jesus' Instruction on Prayer from the Sermon on the Mount.
Pastor Joe brought out the importance of right motives when we give from Matthew 6, verses one through 4.
Pastor Joe finishes Chapter 5 of Matthew by looking at Jesus words of how we should treat those that God has places around us. We even see Jesus' own actions as a guide for how we should act as Children of God.
This week Pastor Joe continued through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, by looking at what Jesus has say about how we should act when we are wronged for our beliefs, and for our actions that God has called us to.
Our time through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount brings us to a focus on our word. Jesus confronts the importance of telling the Truth in all circumstances, and to not allow for "loopholes" in our promises.
Pastor Joe continues our time through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. We see in 2 verses a clear statement on divorce, and then dive head first into all of scripture to better understand the totality of God's heart towards Divorce, and what our response to it should be.
Our time through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount continues in verses 27 through 30. Pastor Joe illuminates Jesus' words of caution and radical action to safeguard our hearts, minds, and eyes against the temptation of Lust.
Pastor Joe continues our time through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. This week Jesus tackles Anger, and how it's more of a heart issue than actually following through.
Pastor Joe is back, and so is our time through the book of Matthew. He continued through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, and dives in deep in what Jesus came to do, and what He didn't come to do as well.
Elder Nolan Pierce brought us the word, and focused us in on Exodus Chapter 33. He pointed out the importance of Prayer, and the necessity of having that "facetime" with God!
Youth And Worship Leader Drew Regan brought us the Word of God this morning, and focused our attention in the book of Philippians. We see through Paul's example how we too can be "Content" in all Circumstances no matter what life throws at us, because of ou Faith and Trust in Jesus Christ!
Pastor Joe ended our time of corporate worship through song, by bringing us to the God's Word. and focusing us on one of the most well known verses in all of Scripture, John 3:16, but continues on to give the oh so important context of verses 17-18. Listen along, and be reminded of the truth and importance of Jesus' Birth during this Christmas season!
Pastor Joe brought us to the book of Hebrews, and in only four verses shows us 9 different ways in which Jesus Christ is Supreme. Jesus may have been born in a manger, but He is SO much MORE than just a little baby, and He's worthy of every bit of Praise and Honor that we could ever give!
Pastor Joe Earle continued our time through the book of Matthew. We see Jesus continuing His sermon on the Mount with a call to be Salty! Salty in the sense of having influence on this stale and broken world, through reflecting the salt and light of Christ to those around us.
Elder Nolan Pierce brings us through Psalm 100, and bridged the gap between the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays!
This week, Elder Tim Regan brought us to the Psalms to see how we can have Thankfulness, not just on Thanksgiving, but throughout the entirety of our lives!
Pastor Joe has started our time through Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in the book of Matthew. We see what God values by the use of this "Blessed" in ways that we may not usually associate with "Favored", but as we dive deeper into God's word we uncover the heart behind these statements, and the attitude that we should have every day!
Pastor Joe brought us back to our study through the book of Matthew, and we see Jesus begin His earthly Ministry, hear His first Sermon, and even call His first few Disciples!
Pastor Joe explains the Five Solas of the Reformation; Scripture Alone, Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Christ Alone, and the Glory of God alone.
We see how these truths are founded in scripture, and how they should strengthen and encourage us throughout our daily lives.
Pastor Joe starts out Chapter 4 of Matthew with Jesus being tempted by Satan, and being Tested by His Father. Through Jesus' example, we can see many ways that we can battle our own temptations.
Pastor Joe Earle continues our Time through Matthew, and we see an amazing act of the Trinity on display, and we see how the Father truly feels about the Son!

Pastor Joe continued our time through the book of Matthew, and we got to see the full implications of what the birth of Jesus means!
Pastor Joe Earle has started our time through the Gospel of Matthew, and we started with the first 17 verses that go through the lineage of Jesus, and how it proves that God is Faithful in His Promises, and that He is Gracious to use us in bringing Him the Glory and Honor that He deserves!
Pastor Joe brought us to the book of 1st Corinthians to see how Paul laid out what Communion is, and why it's important to keep our relationships within the Body of Christ in check as we go towards the Lord's Supper.
Pastor Joe Earle brought us to the book of Philippians to see some very practice ways that God has given us to deal with anxiety, hardships, and stress in this life. He shows us how a firm confidence and constant communication with God will give us Peace that transcends even the bleakest of circumstances.
Pastor Joe brought us to Leviticus 10 to see what the Ultimate Goal of Worship is. (Spoiler Alert, it's God getting ALL of the Glory that He deserves!)
Pastor Joe ends our time through 2 Corinthians Chapters 8-9 by concluding what Faithful Giving means for us today.
Pastor Joe starts with week one of two through our time in 2 Corinthians chapters 8 and 9 by giving us 4 out of 9 key points of a faithful giver.
Pastor Joe brought us to 2 Corinthians to see that even during times of hardships, persecutions, or struggles we can still receive Comfort from our Great and Mighty God! We also saw how God can use the comfort that we've received from Him, to then use that same trust in Him to comfort our brothers and sisters and those around us to look to Him who is still in control.
This week Elder Nolan finished his 2 week series on Revival, and brought us to the book of Habakkuk.
Elder Nolan Pierce brought us through 2 Chronicles 7:11-14 to see what Revival is, along with how we should prepare our hearts, minds, and lives for God to bring revival to our lives.
This Sunday, Pastor Joe Earle finished our 5-week series on the Doctrines of Grace in order to provide Riverside a greater understanding of these important doctrines and relate how they benefit the lives of believers. This week, he preached on the Perseverance of the Saints through the book of Romans 8:28-33.
Pastor Joe continues through our 5 Week series of the Doctrines of Grace. This week he preached on, "Irresistible Grace" through the key scriptures of; 2 Corinthians 4:4-6, 1 Corinthians 1:23-24, and 2 Timothy 2:24-25.
Pastor Joe continued our time through the 5 Gracious Doctrines, and we saw exactly what is meant by Limited Atonement all throughout Scripture, and even through the words of Jesus Himself. If you haven't heard the first two in this series, we would seriously consider you to give them a listen, because they all connect and build off of each other.
Pastor Joe Earle continues our time through the 5 Doctrines of Grace. This is the second week going through these doctrines, and we go to Ephesians 1:3-6 to see how Unconditional Election should give us Hope, and a greater sense of adoration and thankfulness towards our Great God!
Pastor Joe Earle has started our time through the 5 Doctrines of Grace by unpacking what the “Total Depravity of Man” means for all of mankind. Every week we will be explaining what each Doctrine is, what it isn’t, and how it should bring us to a greater sense of Praise towards our Gracious God!
This Week Pastor Joe reminded us through Scripture why we can still move fearlessly forward, all because God dispels our fear in that He is with us, is sovereign, & is working!
Elder Tim Regan preached through Ephesians 6:10-20 and spoke about the conflict that Christian's have, and the solution that God gives to us through His Armor.
This week Pastor Joe laid down the Gauntlet by encouraging, and challenging the Mom's and Grandmom's of Riverside to teach their children, and Grandchildren about the hope of the Gospel, and what Jesus has done for them.
