We know the Devil is a liar but do we know that he is a really really really good liar? In this second part on the Devil we discover more ways to combat his lies.

We don’t know what the future holds when it comes to COVID, but being an apprentice of Jesus never stops. No matter what phase we are in take some time to reflect on these questions from our previous teachings:
• What's one word you believe Jesus is giving you as you enter 2021? You may not know what the word means right now, but that's ok! Trust that Jesus wants, and is going to form something in you.
• Have I asked Jesus to reveal himself to me lately? How can I make it a daily practice to ask Jesus to reveal himself to me.

But not merely through taking a break and finding balance in the day to day, but in the recognition that our paths are ordained by God, and that through our trust in him, we will have the right conditions for true rest.

As we seek to eliminate hurry in our lives, we need practices to change our behaviours. Spending time in silence and solitude is one such practice, one that unmoors us from our society's obsession with productivity and consumerism. It fills us instead with Christ and the voice and direction of the Holy Spirit. In silence, we allow our souls to be shepherded.
Living and loving like Jesus may look different for you than for me because God has given us different missions. This week we begin to explore how to discover our mission and how that plays out in our day to day.

We’ve heard the creation story, and we walk in creation everyday, but have we lost something by letting such a powerful story become too mundane. Let’s go back to the beginning and be reminded we still have a choice that can alter the course of our own story.
