The Princess Bride Minute, is based on thestarwarsminute format, created by Alex Robinson & Pete The Retailer. Dozens of movies are currently being scrutinized similarly.
Jonathan & Steve get together on a Friday night to talk about the 30th Anniversary Edition release of The Princess Bride book and to catch up on pop culture in general.
Saying goodbye is harder than expected, but all good things must come to an end. Jonathan & Steve have some final thoughts about The Princess Bride and discuss plans for the future which include discussing the sequel to The Princess Bride, Buttercup's Baby. Until then, Bye Bye boys!
Once again, we join Caleb, Jonathan & Steve in a dank Detroit hotel room. Among other things, we get a rendition of take me out to the ballgame and the long awaited book vs. movie comparison.

Zach Luna from Spider-Man Minute joins us to explore what it means to want your father back while Westley and Buttercup work out some issues of their own. Also, Jonathan lets Steve swear once or twice.
Clearly dizzied by Rugen’s continued attack, Inigo rises to his feet and tells Tyrone his name again and again. As any fan of Neil Gaiman knows, names have power and Tyrone seems to be on the brink of defeat. Guest: Pete Mummert of The Indiana Jones Minute.

Buttercup gets down with Humperdinck's dad and Humperdinck's mom is cool with it. TYrone on the other hand is playing hard to get. John Kovalic bears witness in dorkspacular fashion.
Tyrone shows his true colors and leads Inigo on a merry chase through Florin castle. Jonathan, Steve, and guest John Kovalic tag along.
Westley is being such a drag, isn’t he? Fortunately, Inigo is all business and at last he gets to tell Tyrone those 13 little words every henchman longs to hear. John Kovalic from Dork Tower & Munchkin fame joins us as we get down to business.
Yellin does his very best, but clearly there is no stopping this storming. Unfortunately for our heroes, Buttercup & Humperdinck are now blissfully married, so what's the point?

Westley, Inigo, & Fezzik piece together the final bits of their plan to storm the castle and rescue Buttercup. Meanwhile Humperdinck helps Buttercup prepare for her impeding nuptials, ehh...rescue. Never mind, just nod your head in agreement please or we'll ask Kestra & Andrew from Disney Animated Minute Essentials to do it for you.
Westley continues to recover, though to be honest with you his disposition is less than sunny. Fortunately, we do have a holocaust cloak and a wheelbarrow so things are looking up. Andrew & Kestra from Disney Animated Minute Essentials join us again.
He's Back! Inigo shoves a gobstopper of a pill down dead Westley's throat and though his thoughts are a bit garbled - the man in black is miraculously revived. Woo-hoo! Andrew & Kestra from Disney Animated Minute Essentials drop by to discuss matters.
Miracle Max is on the job! Valerie and him quickly whip something up for Westley and even have the time to wrap it in delicious chocolate. Good thing they were quick about it, because it's time to storm the castle. First though, we wave bye bye to Alex & Pete The Retailer.
Miracle Max finds his motivation as his witch, eh..his wife Valerie joins him to make sure everything goes as planned. Once again, the gentlemen from Star Wars Minute stop by to show us how it's done. Professionals all around!

Gerry Porter finishes out the week with us and we couldn't be happier to have him. Unfortunately, Miracle Max does not seem nearly as enthusiastic about Westley.
Gerry Porter escapes the Temple Of Doom, enters the bedroom of Kevin, and ultimately ends up in the Pit Of Despair. That's a pretty good trajectory for a 60 second journey!
The ghost of Inigo's father leads Fezzik & Inigo into the pit of despair where they find poor dead Westley. While they handle this with aplomb, young Kevin Arnold has a cow.
Fezzik & Inigo go jogging with The Albino and have a religious experience. Chris & David from The Star Trek Minute are along for the ride.
Humperdinck turns it up to 50 and all of Florin takes notice! We're joined by the gentlemen from Star Trek Minute who are kind enough not to treat us nearly as roughly.
Buttercup gives Humperdinck a piece of her mind and gets locked in her room without supper. Meanwhile, in the Pit Of Despair...
Buttercup catches Humperdinck in a lie but don't worry because Yellin is on top of it! Sean German is here too to break it all down.
Inigo goes from defeatist and despondent to a man on a mission in less than 60 seconds. With us to enjoy this exciting arc is Sean German from Spinal Tap Minute.
Fezzik employs a rather interesting approach to sobering Inigo up and Inigo nearly uses his toes to count to twenty. Thomas Howeth from The Never Ending Minute closes out the week in grand style with us too.
Inigo has gone back to the beginning and gotten completely soused. Fortunately, Fezzik is here to get him out of trouble. Thomas Howeth from the Never Ending Story Minute lends a hand too.
Humperdinck has it all under control except for possibly a certain drunken Spaniard. Meanwhile, Thomas Howeth from The Never Ending Minute joins us to form a Brute Squad.
Tyrone makes Westley cry, Humperdinck makes Yellin kneel, and Buttercup makes an appearance as does Jim O'Kane as our guest.
The machine is switched on much to the delight of Tyrone & The Albino. Westley is somewhat less pleased, but how would you feel if one year of your life was sucked away?
Tyrone takes on a ton of Humperdinck's emotional baggage while getting ready to show Westley a good time with his machine.
An agreement is reached between Buttercup & The Prince after which he and Count Rugen take a walk in the woods where they have some sort of machine.
Humperdinck finally gives up and agrees to let Buttercup go off and be happy. No, this is not a dream, IT'S A TRAP!
Bobby from Beauty & The Beastly Minute stops by as does one uncredited Irish Wolfhound. Fortunately, this is all a dream.
Young Kevin Arnold continues to fret and for that matter so does The Ancient Booer. It's a good thing that Rick & Julia are here to commiserate.
Westley learns about the machine, the King dies, Buttercup marries Humperdinck, and Kevin Arnold whines about these unexpected twists in the narrative.
