Life after college is like stepping into a vast, uncharted territory, where every decision feels both exhilarating and daunting. It's a time of transition marked by newfound freedom, endless possibilities, and a healthy dose of uncertainty. No longer confined to the structured routine of academia, you're suddenly thrust into the real world, where you're expected to navigate your own path.
For many, it's a time of exploration, both personally and professionally. You might find yourself embarking on exciting career opportunities, finally putting your years of education to practical use. The world becomes your classroom, and every experience offers a chance to learn and grow. But with this newfound independence comes responsibility – bills to pay, decisions to make, and challenges to overcome.

On this episode of Ouch, that hurts! I talk about the book Ladies get paid by Claire Wasserman. This book teaches women how to advance in their careers. She offers information about career development, networking, negotiation and much more. It is a book for anyone who is starting their career or is thinking of changing any career path. I hope you learn from this book as much as I did!
Thank you so much for listening.

Hi, in this podcast I talk about the impacts of social media. I also discuss my relationship with social media. I got inspired by the documentary The Social dilemma on Netflix. I want everyone to know the effects that social media can bring.
It is important for us to open our eyes to the issue, and we must continue to know the dangers of the internet for our future generations.
Disclaimer: I am not claiming that social media should not be used at all. I think it is a wonderful place that we can connect, by communicating with people around the globe like I do with my family, but we should understand that social media has its set back.
I hope that you enjoy this episode! Love you so much.

I would like to thank Gretchen for the incredible opportunity that she provided me. She opened my eyes and explained ways in which women suffer. I did not know that many women go through something like this and no one knows. Women are sexually harassed and are not supported in this process. I hope that my listeners do indeed acknowledge the sufferings and the setbacks of many women including in many work fields, such as music, sport, Television, acting, etc.
Thanks for being a role model, Ms. Carlson, and I hope I meet you one day

Hi, again, thank you for listening to this episode.
In this episode, I talked about the importance of self-love and why it is not taught. Also, I mention some ways in which you can demonstrate love to yourself.
I have included examples of amazing women. I first talk about Diane Von Furstenberg, a successful fashion businesswoman. And the story of the famous and talented Jennifer Lopez. These two women do give us a lesson to learn. Always fight for your dreams regardless of what others say.
A resource that I highly recommend is True love by Jennifer Lopez (Book). Another one is Diane Von Furstenberg's master class. Masterclass.com
I did not get sponsored for the recommendations listed above.
Once again Thank you for the support.

Hi, and welcome to my second episode of Ouch, that hurts!. In this episode, I decided to talk about ways in which we have been affected during this Corona Virus time. We all have a lesson to learn. Also, I showed ways in which we all can cope and stop repeating from those mistakes that we did in the past .
I also mention an important source. Laurie Santos, Professor of Yale University explains ways in which we can change our attitudes and how to develop better habits to live a happier life.
Would like to thank professor Santos for the work that she has put so we can improve our lives.
The course is called: The science of well being. It is located in Coursera.org, if you want to check it out. I highly recommend it.
P.S. I am so sorry if you hear a background noise, that was my dad. I did not notice that he was talking on the phone. I am so sorry. But I have learned my mistake. And for the next time I will ask him to take the call outside.
Thanks, for tuning in. I highly appreciate it. And also let me know anything that interested you in this video. Please give me some feed back.
Loves,
-Yolany B.

Hi, this is my first episode on this podcast channel. Thanks for taking your time to listen it. I Highly appreciate it.
In this episode I talked about ways in which we as humans think and why it is important to notice and increase optimism in our lives. The course that really helped me to think in a more optimist way was Positive psychology: building resilience skills by professor Karen Reivich.
I also included an event in my life in which I did not have the most optimist point of view. That was before I took the course and now I am a fully aware that if this event happens in the future it will not affect me as much as it did.
Gratitude:
Thanks to professor Reivich for putting so much effort onto this course. It has helped me so much in my daily life. Thank you so much and please continue to make more courses.
Love,
-Yolany B
