My name is Joey Masloski and I am a business student at the University of Wisconsin Madison. I am 19 years old and have no idea what I want to do with my life, which is why I have decided to interview successful business professionals/entrepreneurs on what happiness means to them. This podcast will dive deep into the lives of these people as they share life lessons, career advice, and ultimately what values they hold for living a happy life.
Anton Floquet is an experienced director and cinematographer who has made documentaries on a variety of different films. He has been to over 30 countries, filmed exotic wildlife footage, traveled to the sunken titanic, done a reality show with Ice T, and more recently helped with a documentary project on Imagine Dragons. Malcolm Bilimoria is a Northwestern graduate who is now a pancreatic surgeon with 29 years of experience in the medical field. He attained one of the best publications in the world for cancer research(MD Anderson) after getting into a highly competitive surgery oncology program. Brian Wietharn is the president of the commercial real estate company Copaken Brooks, former management consultant, and Princeton alum. He has grown a business he co-founded from the bottom up to over 330 employees and shares the most important traits needed to be personally successful.
Doug Shabelman is the CEO of the Burns Entertainment: a company that works hand in hand with celebrities and brands for endorsement deals. Some names he's worked with are Mike Ditka, Scarlett Johansson, John Legend, and many more. Ed Record is an extremely successful financial guru who has been the CFO of several multi-million dollar companies, including Hudson's Bay Company and J.C. Penny. He has extensive knowledge in the department store business and shares his knowledge on the subject in accordance with changing times(COVID 19, social media, etc).
