This week on The Wine and Uncorked Chronicles, we're taking a trip down memory lane (and maybe a few flights of stairs) to revisit a legendary (and slightly disastrous) university night out in London. Remember that friend who always takes pre-gaming a little too far? Buckle up, because we're about to relive the night Fiona (names may have been changed to protect the slightly inebriated) attempted to conquer a Shoreditch fire escape, all in the name of a good time (and questionable footwear choices). Was it our finest moment? Debatable. Was it hilarious? Absolutely. Tune in for a cautionary tale (or maybe just a testament to true friendship) and a reminder to always, ALWAYS prioritize proper footwear selection for your adventures.

Tune into this episode to understand a bit more about the philosophy behind Astrology and the links it has to the practice and teachings of Yoga. The unconventionality of today's podcast allows for some food for thought around what Astrology is, the various kinds of astrology, its relationship to science or lack of thereof and its origins. This episode is a time for all of us to know a bit more about this whole re-emergence of such ancient beliefs and just how relevant it is to yoga and the role these play to the way human beings are emotionally and physically wired.

As yoga has exploded it has fallen victim to the racial inequality of larger society. How can we stand together and stand firm in insisting on diversity? We are here to tear down those walls and make room for a new and inclusive future for this practice in wellness. In this episode, I talk about what we are currently experiencing and seeing in the space when it comes to diversity and Inclusion and, the ways in which yoga practitioners and teachers need to reframe the issues around how to tackle this. Happy listening all!
Looking up the trendiest wellness movement that social media believes you should be a part of is something we’re sure you’ve done way too many times over the last few years. Some of them want you to lose weight, others want you to gain it in the right places, to look younger, feel sexier, be happy, to appear more in sync with the times, to while the time away… The list goes on. So here are 10 of the top crazy fads that stood out to me some more extreme than others. Happy listening all!
The practise of yoga is a tool of unity and oneness. When we step on our mats, we are prompted to disconnect from outside stimulation. Every pose is an opportunity to tap into the rhythm of the body and breath which work simultaneously together to create a multi-sensory experience. Just like yoga, sex is a multi-sensory experience of unity where two become one. Between the breath, the movement, and the presence required for mind-blowing sex, we can find inspiration through the postures and pranayama practised on the mat. Take a deep dive into my episode today and have the chance to experiment with some yoga moves to help you breath back life into your bedroom!
Happy Listening all!!

All of us struggle to some degree with body image issues, self-confidence and healing. When we slow down, get quiet, and pay attention to our personal wisdom, we can gain tremendous clarity about what we need to improve a situation internally. We can all use yoga and mindfulness to here’s how to reclaim your self-confidence, feel better in your body, and help others do the same—starting now.

This Is all about Yoga for Balance and Day 1 of my experience doing the 21 Day Meditation Abundance Challenge. In understanding Yoga for Balance, I've often found that people who are flexible are lacking in strength and vice versa. When it comes to yoga, you can use your flexibility to raise your strength, and your strength to work on your flexibility. The beauty of yoga lies in the fact that these things are closely related and we must find a balance between them. In line with balance, meditation is a great tool for helping to keep us balanced in our thoughts and experiences. Meditation practices are an antidote to the penchant we seem to have for working ourselves to exhaustion without feeling like we have much to show for it. If you want some advice on what to expect and how to go about diving into the meditation challenges. This is the episode for you! Happy listening all!
Yoga for the core. Plugin your headphones and take a dive into the importance of your core for Yoga but also generally for your wellbeing. I talk about the different philosophical elements behind the 'locks' or 'bandhas' needed to be understood and mastered in order for your yoga practice to mature well. Remember yoga is for the nourishment of your body and soul and never feel as though not being able to get into certain poses makes you bad at yoga or inadequate enough to practice. It a journey, and a never-ending one at that. Happy listening!
Season 2 is all about what I learnt taking on a yoga and meditation challenge! I will give you some insights on which ones to try out depending on you are in your journey. I will talk you through what to expect and some hacks to enduring the process. So here is day 1 on the yoga challenge! Happy listening all!
