"When we protect the environment, we need to do it in a way that protects economic growth as well, because this brings huge social and economical benefits."
Today’s conversation is with Professor Pericles Pilidis. Pericles completed his doctorate in Gas Turbine Engineering at Glasgow University for many years he was the director of the Thermal Power Masters course and Head of the Gas Turbine Engineering Group at Cranfield University. "We have these country divisions, but when you look at Earth from space, there's no such thing, it's just one little, lone beautiful planet that we need to all look after."
Today we are chatting with Ross and Ramona Headifen. A couple based in Port Melbourne who have become local legends by picking up over half a million pieces of rubbish, that’s 2 tonnes of plastic over the course of a few years on the same 55m stretch of beach, that’s insane. They're part of a clean up crew called Beach Patrol to further this initiative. Their hard work has been featured on 9 News and The Herald Sun. This conversation took all all around the big issue that is plastics. From the clean ups, production, Australia’s systems and how we can move forward with new solutions. Unlike plastic, this conversation will not be a waste of your time. More than anything you’ll get to here from some everyday heroes that get up every day and try to make this world into a better place.

"1 in 3 people that you serve a cow’s milk to you’re making sick. And you’re up-charging for something that’s not going to make them sick."
Today we are chatting to Dotsie Bausch. An exceptional athlete and plant based advocate. She took home a medal in the 2012 London Olympic Games and won eight US national championships, two Pan American gold medals and has a world record. She starred in the hugely popular documentary The Game Changers and Personal Gold. In 2018 Dotsie launched her non-profit Switch4Good in early 2018 with a television commercial featuring six Olympians from four different countries and proves that cow’s milk is not part of a high-performance diet. As you can imagine there's a lot to talk about. We’ll be talking a fair bit about Switch4Goods recent campaign targeting Starbucks, the life of an Olympian and the realities, how fitness and health evolves for individuals and a bit of politics and legislation

"Anything that's going to hold people back in any way, from eating plant-based, is a road block to progress."
Today we are chatting to Bill Muir, AKA Sergeant Vegan. As the name suggests, Bill is a combat veteran. He’s also a registered nurse and speaker. Bill is someone who has a very unique story, being plant based since 1992 he’s gone through war zones and army training eating exclusively plants. I love Bill's confidence and demeanour, amongst the societal belief that veganism is for feminine individuals, Bill literally takes that concept and throws it out the window. I think everyone will take a little bit out of this episode, but I hope in particular the men listening can really extinguish any belief left in them that they are feminine because they don’t eat animal body parts. This conversation will have us talking about the battlefield, his experience in the army, following your ethics and being a militant activist.
