Hotflush
Hotflush is a record label launched by Paul Rose aka Scuba in 2003. Its early period was spent as a central part of London's Bass Music scene which exploded in the mid 2000s, although the label has always been difficult to pigeonhole musically and recent output has focused on Techno and House.
Hotflush label boss Paul Rose aka Scuba returns with a vinyl EP for Record Store Day UK 2026.‘Petrology’ covers the widest stylistic range of Scuba productions, and hints at the breadth and variety of atmospherics found on his last full studio album, ’Claustrophobia’, all the way back in 2015.
Huge mix this month, we have a full hour from multifaceted artist, producer, and DJ Ireen Amnes!Based in Berlin, she started her musical journey as a singer and instrumentalist in metal bands before transitioning into electronic music. Her sound, characterized by moody, unpredictable live hardware and DJ sets, merges melancholic atmospheres with deconstructed rhythms and distorted aesthetics.Since 2015 she’s ran Under My Feet. Hotflush launches a new line of special projects, in conjunction with a special guest A&R - London-based DJ and production specialist Otik. The first project in this series is an 8-track extended play by an emerging star of the European techno scene, Endrew. The Berlin-based Italian has broken through in recent months following a debut release on Shed's Upfront Copy label. This is his most extensive contribution to date.
