OIKOS: family, relatives, neighbors and colleagues. We have the responsibility to claim them for Jesus. This message highlighted the openness of people to receive the Gospel, citing examples like Cornelius and the importance of praying for and reaching to neighbors. We as Jesus' disciples are encouraged to expect the salvation of entire families when one person gets saved. Examples from Noah's ark and Paul's claim of all aboard the ship were mentioned. The importance of actively prioritizing, loving family members, and forgiveness sought for past passivity. There are positive and negative examples from the Bible. We're urged to do unconventional things like Zacchaeus to reach others. The message emphasized paying attention to those around, even seemingly hard cases, and trusting in the healing power of the Word of God. Overall, the focus was on claiming one's "Oikos" for the Gospel and prioritizing family and relationships.
The Kingdom of God is found in the individual born-again disciple of Christ and is the heavenly "culture" that God wants us to learn in our daily walk. Jesus is among his congregation as much in the small 2-3 pcs (Mat 18:20) as in the largest and eternal universal congregation (Heb 12:22).

God has great plans for your life. In Romans 8:29-30, we can find a part of His eternal purpose: a big family with sons and daughters conformed to the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. To accomplish this goal, God has an amazing principle for all of us: discipleship. Not just any discipleship, but discipleship with Jesus.
The families are the foundation of the society and the church. When the families collapse the society and the church is falling apart. The family shows who God is and the marriage mirrors the relation between Christ and the church. We need to have revelation, vision and faith about the marriage and God's purpose for our children to accomplish the goal. Through faithfulness and perseverance we can reach the fullness of joy and fruit that God has planned for us. For this wee are totally dependant on God's grace through prayer.

The house church is the gateway to heaven.
The church is the house of God. It’s where God lives. “You are citizens with everyone else who belongs to the family of God. You are like a building with the apostles and prophets as the foundation and with Christ as the most important stone. Christ is the one who holds the building together and makes it grow into a holy temple for the Lord. And you are part of that building Christ has built as a place for God’s own Spirit to live.” (CEV) “…a dwelling place for God.” (LTB) Or as the Message has it, “Every house has a builder, but the Builder behind them all is God. Moses did a good job in God’s house, but it was all servant work, getting things ready for what was to come. Christ as Son is in charge of the house. Now…we are that house!” (Hebrews 3.3-6) “A holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.” (Ephesians 2)
When we are gathered together as a house church, we are the house of God, a gateway to heaven for the believer and nonbeliever as well. Jacob of the Old Testament had just an experience. After a dream-filled nocturnal sleep, he realized something. “He said, “God is in this place—truly. And I didn’t even know it!” He was terrified. He whispered in awe, “Incredible. Wonderful. Holy. This is God’s House. This is the Gate of Heaven.” (Genesis 28:16-17 MSG)
In 1 Corinthians 14, an anonymous visitor came into the meeting. As he listens to his life being revealed through the word of the prophets, he falls down on his face and worships God, “declaring that God is among you indeed.” (1 Corinthians 14.25 ASV)
The (house) church is where God is the Lead Pastor and minister. He becomes evident to all as he touches lives through his Spirit. The (house) church is the Gateway to Heaven.

God’s focus on the leaders: assume your identity and be focused!
“There once was a man sent by God , his name John.” In reality, this was not only John the Baptizer’s identity. It is also the identity of every disciple of Jesus. It is impossible to be a disciple without being a missionary on a mission. John was sent by God and so are we. So, where are you from? The geographic answer to this question was totally and beautifully international, but…the spiritual and missional answer was only one. We are from heaven, sent by God. We must assume this identity. Nothing else is worthy of his calling.
Yes, we are sent by God and, like John, we have a mission. “… to point out the way to the Life-Light. He came to show everyone where to look, who to believe in.” This was said of John and can be said of each of us.
To remain focused, we must remember two things. We must be aware and get rid of (1) everything that gets in the way, and (2) the sin which holds on to us so tightly. (Hebrews 12.1-3) In this talk, we meditate on the effect of these two elements and voice a precaution regarding their effects in our faith, our life, our ministry.
Basic elements of House Church ministries reviewed. Plus added material concerning discipleship and the “parish” concept for house churches.
Years ago this topic became part of our vision of ministry through experience, study and prayer. Today it is a matter of expedience, of survival for us in Latin America, as well as for the church in most of the world.
If the church pretends to maintain its institutional identity, it’s going to have a very hard road to climb in the next few years. But…if the church pretends to maintain and intensify it’s purpose and spirituality, it is going to survive this time of trial in victory. God is in the church, the Body of Christ. He lives there! He is often not in the public institution called the church, and when he is, he is an invited guest, just like the rest of us.
In a world of religious persecution against God, Christ, the church, house churches will thrive. This that once was a vision has now become an expediency.
The elements shared in this first part of the 2023 conference are basic to the house church ministry. The vision, the concept of house churches is changing, as God is giving us more and more experience in this wonderful setting for his body.

Here Janne talked about 5 types of shepherds (real animals shepherds, the rules of the nations, God is my shepherd, Jesus the good shepherd, the shepherds of the church). And then he focused on the last topic with the text of 1 Peter 5:2-4 (“Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not Lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.”)

Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.**
God says to us, He is doing something new! Do not stay in the old things, He has new things for me in my house, family, work, disciples, church, etc. Everything is new, now I'm living in Christ, in Jesus!! My life is new, is in Him. A new position, we were justified by him, we are with Him, seated in the heavenly realms.
So lets be full of expectation on the NEW HE HAS FOR US!
What’s does it mean to remain is Jesus words? The Father wants us to eat from Jesus by listening to His words not with our intellect but with our spirit.
The ekklesia of Jesus is here to break down the strongholds of darkness. When the believers in koinonia is strong and the ministry gifts are in place, the prayer and spiritual warfare of the ekklesia will stop the forces of satan and open the way for the kingdom of God.
Definition: The House Church is the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Family of God, operating in all the city, all week long, with active participation by all its members, using the homes of the brothers as a base and center of operations. It is the Church of Jesus moving into the neighborhood, right next door to people Jesus loves. The New Testament paints a picture of the Church of Jesus Christ with bright terms of unity, commitment, love and koinonia. Many are those who understand this vision of the Church and wish to see it come true amid the apathy and rebellion of our day. The House Church is the appropriate manifestation of the life of Christ in fellowship in our current post-Christian world. The House Church is the ideal situation for the Church to live according to its gifts, ministries and its mission. It is where the once again aliens, exiles, sojourners, and foreigners of our world live and thrive. It is a witness to the world of the word of God, the power of God and the love of God. The House Church is a family in a hostile post-Christian world. Often pastoral care, worship, discipleship, kerygma and didake, koinonía, spiritual gifts, integral healing, prayer, the sacraments, and leadership development are well understood and best applied in the House Church setting.
