Today's episode is the second of our school closure check-ins. The episode starts with a great letter of gratitude from Mr. Daley, a fourth grade teacher at Fox Hill, to his students. Then we check in with Marshall Simonds Science Teacher Jourdan Marino.  He discusses the benefits of a strict routine and how this structure is helping him get through these days.  Of course, he also shares some gratitude.

It's easy to get anxiety about the spread of COVID-19, the closure of schools, and the dramatic change in our everyday routines. But with these changes there are also new positive opportunities for us. Instead of looking at all of the negative implications, let's change our focus and consciously look for these new opportunities. Let's also share these and spread our positive energy during these difficult times. In our first episode, we hear from an 8th grader in NH who is grateful for the added time to virtually connect with her cousins.
