On this weeks agenda, Lewis gives us insight into Wrexham, detailing the unlikely friendship between actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney following their purchase of a Welsh soccer team. He also shares his thoughts on tv show, The Bear, starring Jeremy Allen White who plays a chef from the world of fine dining who comes home to his family’s sandwich following tragic circumstances. Meanwhile, Cecilia reviews Clean, a documentary about the life of Australian businesswoman, Sandra Pankhurst who started one of Australia’s most successful trauma cleaning services.
Rachele gets the show underway with the excitement of what the British Film Festival has to offer, before being joined by Cecilia and a flustered Lewis. They then get artsy with Bowie as they talk about the immersive film experience of Moonage Daydream. Cecilia and Lewis break down the not so scary horror, Bodies Bodies Bodies and the Roberts/Clooney comedy Ticket to Paradise. They all wrap up with some more from the Italian Film Festival - specifically Power of Rome - and two Crime heavy TV Series Candy and The Patient both featured on Disney +
While we’re going to talk Bodies, Bodies, Bodies and Moonage Day Dream next show, we still bring the horror with Whinnie the Pooh, Willy’s Wonderland and some of the feels with Hate, Breaking Up in Rome and The Quiet Girl. Lewis and Cecilia also talked about Brendan Fraser’s return to cinema and tried to work out what’s up with Don’t Worry Darling.
Rachele’s just celebrated her birthday, so she and Lewis talk about some of her resulting Lego projects and Lewis talks about his table travels before getting stuck into his musicals weekend of Cruel Intentions, Tick Tick Boom and Frozen. The two of them also talk a heap of things to watch out for on streaming.
Lewis, Rachele and Cecilia take a look at the length of time they’ve been doing Unscripted (and before that, Funky Films). Lewis reckons there’s a good 1200 shows he’s done since 1998 (when Rachele was graduating high school), while Rachele jumped on board in 2006 and then they welcomed Cecilia into the team in 2012. Now they have 200 episodes up of the podcast! Also on the lineup is Knives Out, a modern-day murder mystery modelled on Agatha Christie’s whodunnit; and Mrs Lowry and Son, a portrait on the prolific artist LS Lowry and his dysfunctional relationship with his mother.

Rachele and Cecilia share their thoughts on the film which tells the story of how the pair built the Ford GT40 to go head to head with Ferrari at Le Mans. Cecilia also reviews the new Charlie’s Angels film, written and directed by Elizabeth Banks. And guess what? It’s not that bad.
