Throughout the podcast, Rene emphasized the importance of storytelling in effective communication. He discussed how there are no new fundamentals, and how Aristotle's teachings on rhetoric and storytelling are still relevant today. He cited the example of the movie Rocky, which tells the story of an underdog boxer who overcomes incredible odds to become a champion. The reason that the Rocky story resonates with so many people, Rene explained, is because it has both failures and triumphs. It's a powerful example of how a great story can inspire and motivate people to achieve their own goals.
But how do you develop and share your own stories effectively? Rene had a few key pieces of advice. First, he emphasized the importance of being mindful of your journey. We all have incredible stories to share, but we need to pay attention to them and be intentional about sharing them. This involves being aware of your own experiences and reflecting on the lessons you've learned along the way.
Second, Rene discussed the importance of practicing breathwork when you're feeling nervous or anxious. By focusing on your breath and taking deep, calming breaths, you can reduce your anxiety and be more present in the moment. This can be incredibly helpful when you're preparing to give a speech or presentation, as it can help you stay focused and calm.
Third, Rene talked about the importance of overcoming procrastination and building habits. He emphasized the power of celebrating small successes and achievements along the way, and of setting achievable goals that can help you build momentum and stay motivated. By developing positive habits and focusing on small wins, you can make progress toward your goals and achieve success over time.
Finally, Rene discussed the importance of embracing fear and difficulty. He explained that these are always required for success and that the key is to learn to lean into them and use them as fuel for growth and achievement.

Get ready to learn from one of the most successful investors in the game, Abraham Gray. With decades of experience under his belt, Abraham has a wealth of knowledge to share about buying and selling businesses, as well as investing in real estate and precious metals.
It all started for Abraham when he got into buying and selling baseball cards. He had a knack for finding undervalued cards and selling them for a profit, and before he knew it, he was a millionaire in his teenage years. This early success set him on a path to entrepreneurship and investing that he still follows today.
From baseball cards, Abraham moved on to buying out competitors in the collectibles space. He saw an opportunity to consolidate the industry and create a dominant player, and he seized it. This led him to start buying up other businesses as well, applying the same principles of finding undervalued assets and using his business acumen to turn them into profitable ventures.

Andrew Peluso is a seasoned marketer with a diverse background, having held positions in industries ranging from cutlery sales to door-to-door pest control services. In this interview, Andrew shares his personal preferences, favorite apps and books that help him stay organized and on track. One of his go-to tools is the app "Productivity," which assists him in maintaining his daily productivity.
Andrew is a firm believer in investing in personal growth, wisdom, and the expansion of his company. One of the key takeaways from today's interview is the significance of "niche down." According to Andrew, "If you feel you've niched down enough, you've got to keep digging." This means that finding a specific area of expertise and becoming a specialist in that field is essential for establishing a name and building wealth. It's important to avoid going broad and shallow, and instead, focus on going deep within a specific niche. By doing so, one can uncover hidden opportunities and increase their income. As an example, look at difference in earnings between a general surgeon and a cardiothoracic surgeon. The latter earns on average $505,000 per year, while the former earns around $420,000 per year.

Vamsi Polimetla, is a seasoned runner, reader, and coach, joining us to discuss his incredible story. Born in India, Vamsi taught himself how to code and was quick to embrace the Java programming language when it first emerged. Vamsi moved from India to Singapore and then to the US, since it was far cheaper to obtain a car in the US. That’s right, Vamsi moved because he wanted to own a car, and that wasn’t feasible in Singapore. In the US, he was able to pursue his love for running and reading, two activities that helped him stay motivated and focused on his goals. Despite not being the “brightest student”, he was always eager to learn and read everything he could about coding. This dedication to growth and learning would eventually lead him to a successful career in the corporate world, where he worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield and even became an advisor to the CEO and CIO.
However, once Vamsi reached this point in his life, Vamsi realized that this wasn't the path for him and left to start his passion project, "Make More Leaders." In this coaching program, he teaches others how to be the best leader they can be and how to cut down on their work hours while enjoying life to the fullest.

How do you master time? How do you take time and master it? You start to prioritize. I’ve been reading a lot on essentialism & focusing on one thing at a time and I’ve come to realize that the key to owning your time is cutting out nearly everything. The key is to focus on just a few things that you do well. The key is to stop attempting to multi-task and do everything at once. The key is to say no more, say yes less and to get really really good at a few things. A jack of all trades is a master of none and a master of none is paid like an amateur of all.
So, today, make a commitment to own your time and prioritize. To cut out what’s non-essential and to implement what matters. Commit to becoming AMAZING at one or two things, not mediocre at 100 things. Commit to working hard and remaining committed to the work that you do. Commit to focusing and staying on the path, when the going gets tough, for a MINIMUM of 3 years before quitting.
That little paragraph right there, that’s the key to success.
Own your time, own your life.

Ashley Kehr is one of the Co-Hosts of The Real Estate Rookie Podcast and today, she shares how she got her start in real estate.
Ashley didn’t start in real estate, no, she started with a job. Then, she decided that wasn’t for her, so she took on being a mother full-time. During that period, she was given the opportunity to manage 100 units for an individual she knew… with little to no knowledge on what that would look like, Ashley began managing properties. Now, for anyone who owns a few or many properties, you’ll understand what a difficult task this is. It’s not simple, it takes a lot of dedication, time, and most importantly, attention to detail. Something Ashley proved to be quite good at, and so, she managed properties for a time, before starting her own journey, in becoming an incredibly successful real estate investor.

How This Hacker Learned To Hack
If you've ever wondered about the hackers of our day, this is an episode you must listen to. Chris Roberts has done a little bit of everything! In a black hat white hat hacker kind of world, I'm not sure where Chris stands. While he never steals or takes information for his own benefit, his findings often are not welcomed with open arms. However, you'll see very quickly, that Chris only has the best interests of others in mind, as he endeavors to make the world a safer place. Where folks ask more questions.
From rustling thousands of cattle to proving the planes flying high in the sky were unsafe, Chris has made a huge impact on the world. He's hacked the Mars space rover, to do nothing more than play a little music. This hacker can do it all, and he's been featured in many a new article, shedding a positive, and negative light on his work.
This interview has been one of my absolute favorites. Discussing the impact of uploading your consciousness to the internet, the moral dilemmas of this, and so much more, truly opened my eyes, to a world I know little about.
If you're interested in hacking or hearing one of the best life stories out there, you're going to want to take some time to listen to this interview!

What It Takes To Build YOUR Successful LifeJay Adkins, entrepreneur, real estate investor, loving father, and someone you do NOT want to challenge to a bowling match. Today, we get to dive deep into what enabled him to build a life of success.
In today’s episode, we dive into individual success, what it means for you, and only you. Instead of chasing after someone else’s idea of success, chase after yours! Whether it’s a family, business, or your dream job, each individual has their own dreams. Dreams the, and only they can expect to achieve.
Expectations, we discuss those too, and how it’s important that your expectations for yourself, set the highest standard for YOU, possible. Because if you don’t expect the most, and the best from and of yourself, you’re bound to find disappointment around the corner.
The key takeaway in today’s interview is everyone has their own dreams, and you shouldn’t take on the dreams and goals of others. Instead, chase your goals, because you’re living your life, not someone else’s. So live the life you want!

What Is The Difference Between a 401(K) and ROTH IRA?
A 401(k) offers you tax benefits, either tax-deferred or taxed on that original side. Essentially, you can push off the taxes, or, if you use a ROTH IRA, you won’t be taxed in 20 or 30 years when you retire. A 401(k) only allows a maximum employee contribution of $19,000 a year and a ROTH IRA only allows a maximum of $6,000 a year. Here is what’s important. If your employer offers an employer match, meaning for every dollar, up to 5% (this varies and your employer may not offer a match) of your income, they match. So if you make $10,000, and invest $500, your employer will also put $500 into your 401(k) for example. THAT’S FREE MONEY! Don’t waste it. If your employer offers a match, make use of that.
That's what we cover, and SO MUCH MORE! As we bring on Larry Sprung.

How does Working Out Help you?
If you ca build one good habit, you can build a million other habits, working out is one of the best ones, and on top of that, here are 3 things that make working out a valuable piece to add to your life:
o First off, working out will give you more energy, more energy means that you can not only enjoy your life more, but you can also do many things well. With more energy, you can enjoy playing games with your kids, pushing through those last few work hours in a better mood and you can be more awake and alert, for your safety and for those around you to get to enjoy being with you when you’re at your best
o Secondly, working out will increase your confidence. And with more confidence, you will be more successful in life. A confident person, is someone others look up to, someone that others can rely on and grow through. You’ll be more successful at work and whatever it is that you work on.
o Finally, working out will help you to live a longer life. It will make you stronger, healthier, and happier. You’ll be able to enjoy life for longer, instead of becoming bedridden and unable to walk, eliminating some of life's many joys.
Your focus is what you choose to focus on, and today, we will talk about what you need to focus on.
Today, we discuss stoicism, with a professor, Craig, who shares how Stoicism can change your life, for the better.
Money Won’t Satisfy You!
Use your money to build and make money, your money is your soldier, make money and make sacrifices today to pay for everything else in the future.
Money doesn’t change much, but it does allow you to make other decisions, make new choices and do new things.
More money, without a purpose, doesn’t do much of anything at all.
How should you use your money? To help others and to enjoy life with family and friends. Money should be used to advance the lives of others.
Should you ask for help?
The answer, quite simply, is YES!
People get stuck in their ways and refuse to see how to get out of it. They become stubborn and stuck, and as immature as it is, it affects nearly every person.
However, if you want to be healthy, wealthy, and successful, you will need help. Pride holds you back. Help propels you forward. Don’t think you can do everything, because you can’t, and even if you could, you wouldn’t be the best at what it is that you do. Build an incredible team and that’s how you will be able to build something truly incredible.
Today we interview Ash, a marketing expert who dives deep into giving, marketing, and how bringing value to the lives of others can transform your life!
13 Challenges Facing Every Entrepreneur
To achieve anything, you need to do the hard things, embrace those difficult things, they will include the following
o Sacrificing your time to build a business or to advance your career
o Sacrificing money today for money tomorrow, investing, purchasing real estate, buying stock, whatever it takes
o Going out every night
It’s not for everyone, but the rewards are great, they include the following
o Financial freedom, and income to take care of you and your family and your future family
o Extra time, to do whatever it is that you love
o Enough money to do the things that you love, go on adventures, treat family and friends, give more
Now, we dive into the hard questions... They are as follows:
If you had six months to live, what would you do?
On my death bed will I regret what I did, the life I lived, what I sought out?
Am I doing everything I can to live a full and rich life?
I love these questions for many reasons, they motivate and drive me and make me ponder whether or not I’m doing what I should be doing with my life.
I love these questions because they force me to pause and think and revaluate what I’m doing and how I’m spending my time.
I want to live a full and rich life, like you. I know you want that, because you listen to this backwater podcast from a guy who wants to build a better life. Because you, too want to build a better life.

Today, we discuss how you can be unsuccessful in your life. If you just follow my simple steps, you can have all of the success in the world!
I heard something the other day that I wanted to share, it was that successful people will work all day, and at the end of the day say they haven’t done enough. Unsuccessful people will do their normal routine and sit around all evening and say they’re overworked and have no time to do anything
Which party is right?
The unsuccessful person stays up late, playing video games or watching TV. They wake up as late as possible, pressing snooze as often as able. They roll out of bed, and head to work, or school. They go through the motions and get back at 5 or 6. They have dinner and they have the rest of their night ahead of them, they turn on the TV, they play video games or they go out drinking with friends. Their lawn needs to be mowed, they have unfinished projects that they’ve been too busy to do for months and they have ideas that they just don’t have time to work on. They stay up as late as possible, doing nothing, filling their time with any mindless, moderately entertaining task they can. They go to bed late, then repeat. On weekends, they don’t have time either, they hang out with friends, leaving homework unfinished and chores and projects for a later date. They watch shows all day, play videos until their head hurts, and only do chores when they MUST, their lawn has grown so tall that you couldn’t see a human laying down in it, or their homework is to do that next morning. They waste their day and at night say, I deserve a break. But they didn’t do anything. But, they don’t have much time.
The successful person gets up early, an hour or two or three before work. They get up when their alarm goes off, they might meditate, read, or do housework, perhaps they work on side projects they’ve just started. They have breakfast and coffee and head to work, they arrive on time, work, and get home at 6. They have dinner and at 7, they mow their lawn, they work on their projects, they read, they clean, then they plan their next day. Around 10 or 11, they turn on the TV and relax. On weekends, they get up early, but they do sleep in an hour, they start their day with chores or homework, fixing this and that, working on their side projects and they keep at it until the evening. They go out with friends, they relax and watch TV and they do so at 5 or 6 PM. They deserve it, they don’t have much time.
Which person are you? Where do you think each person will end up? I have a hunch…

Today, we get to talk about the purpose of arguing and how to build your relationships through disagreements.
Arguing with others, should not be something that you do, unless you are arguing for some reason or purpose
How often have you found yourself in a situation where you have a disagreement and in order to address it, you find yourself debating and fighting to win, this is all too common. You lose your cool and you start to get nasty, you might raise your voice and get angry because you’re in it to win it and you lose sight of why you argue
People argue because people are different, people being different is a good thing, something you should come to terms with, because, differences are good, it is what helps businesses and companies and people to build strong foundations that last, however, these differences, can lead to fights and these fights can be nasty, so how do you prevent an argument from becoming nasty

In today's episode, we talk about how to become valuable so that you can add value.
I spent the majority of my younger years, wishing for wealth, hoping that I would be rich off of some lucky break I made, back before Gamestop and AMC were big, I dreamed of finding that one stock that would bring me 200X my investment!
I always thought - THERE IS NO VALUE I CAN GIVE THAT’S WORTH ANYTHING, well, now, I know THERE IS, YOU JUST HAVE TO LOOK FOR IT, DUMMY!
Don’t seek to find that one, get rich quick scheme, no, seek to find areas where you can add value, you always have something to give, you just haven’t found it yet, but I promise, it is out there, you just need to find it

Today, we are going to talk about building strong relationships and the adverse of that, breaking off weak ones that hurt you instead of building you up, a difficult topic, but an important one if you’re trying to improve your life, and the life of those around you. Because if you hang out with people who bring you down, you are absolutely bound to bring them into the lives of those you care about and it will bring them down to. Your relationships, don’t just affect you, but those around you as well, so be cautious and seek people who will lift you up, so that you yourself can lift others up as well.
For those in your life who help you to grow, seek to nurture those relationships. The people who have the same passions and drives, are the people you want to be around. Even people who don’t share your same passions, if they build you up, and they’re of good character, you should seek those people out. If someone is interested in building a business and your not, but you’re a good person, who seeks to help others, develop others and grow

In today's episode, we talk about, how do you make people like you? That’s something everyone wants to know, how do you build strong relationships, how do you get along with anyone and everyone, how can you make anyone like you?
It’s actually, shockingly simple, you just need to listen.
As the Author Chris Voss, a previous FBI agent states in his book never split the difference, people respond very well when you repeat the last few words of what they just said. So if they’re talking about how much they love their Etsy shop and they say, “I love the bracelets I make for my store” you might say, the bracelets you make for your store? You do so in an inquisitive manner, ask a question, about them.

- It will be worth it in the end, and it is worth it now, So I would ask you, to keep at it.

A stock is a share of a company. If a company was worth $100 and they issued 100 shares, each share would be worth $1, if you bought 51 shares, you would own 51% of the company.
Buying as tock gives you a part of a company
A dividend is them paying you if they do well, think someone giving you interest.
Stocks go up over time as the company value goes up, think that $100 company value goes to $200.
Basic of options:
Options are trading the right to buy or sell 100 shares of a stock at a certain price on a certain date.
You have an $8 stock, you think it will go to $10 in 6 months. You pay to have the right, so you pay $20 for the right. If the stock goes to $10, you get 100 shares, but you only pay $8.
Options are expensive because there is a premium on them, you have to pay for that right
You don’t have to take the shares, you can sell that contract to buy 100 shares to someone else.
- What you think you can do, determines what you do
- No human is better than another, all humans are capable of doing amazing things
- What amazing things you do, depending on who you are and what you want.
- That beings said, you can do whatever you want
- Greatness is different for everyone
- But everyone has the ability to build amazing things
- Your choice, no millionaire is special, or in some way more gifted, and most aren’t of the genetic lottery winnings type
- You can choose, it just takes hard work
I was reading a book called Who switched off my brain. It’s about dealing with stress, negative emotions, and toxic thoughts. And I came across something fascinating, it talks about, how your thoughts and what you think of, can determine your mood or make it even worse.
So, here’s an example: If you’re feeling down, you always think of the worst possible things. Let’s say you’re lonely, you conjure up every memory that you have of when you’ve been left out, all the times you’ve been wronged or weren’t invited over. You dig yourself deeper and deeper into that plot.
And, it just gets you more set in your ways.
When you’re thinking of something, how do you get out of that funk? Or, how do you ensure you stay in a positive, healthy mindset?

Giving, I’ve talked about it before and I’m talking about it again, because, nobody gives. That’s why, although, its one of the greatest things you can do, so today, I’m bringing that point to you all over again.
Why give, well, it makes the lives of others better, that’s for sure, but it’s also got a whole bunch of health benefits, so let’s go over those first.
Giving makes you feel happy, meaning, it’s good for your health. Giving reduces stress and decreases blood pressure. And it’s contagious, if you give, others give, it makes everyone happier, giving creates a chain reaction, a chain reaction of good.

I know I’ve found myself in situations where I wasn’t sure how to build a habit. I wanted to stop sleeping in, start going to the gym consistently, eat right and be consistent with my work on Thought Hustle, but it wasn’t easy. Then, I read Atomic habits, a book that takes you through, how to build habits, day by day.
Imagine if you could improve by just 1% every week, at the end of the year, you would be an entirely new person, so often, we try to start a new habit, we go full throttle, and then burn out within a few days or weeks. Why? Because we bit off more than we could chew, so what’s the solution?
Start small, so small, it seems ridiculous.

if you want to live a brilliant life, ensure you do the following:
1. If you want to live a beautiful life, take the time to appreciate yourself, appreciate the things you do, how far you come and the milestones you reach
2. Be proud of who you are, until you get to that point, it’s going to be a constant battle of you trying to prove yourself to others
3. Reward yourself
4. Take ownership and be proud of what you do and achieve!
5. Always act in a manner that you would be proud to claim, whether its in work or relationships, make sure you would be proud of how you act.
6. Take some time to appreciate how far you have come and what you’ve done
7. Pride in yourself gives you greater confidence and helps to push you through those rough patches
How do you find motivation and drive to continue? Today, we will answer those questions, the question of how to build an amazing life!
If you find yourself lacking motivation, odds are, you aren’t doing what excites you and you’re dreaming too small.
Thankfully, there’s a quick fix for that, dream big, create huge goals, and take steps towards those goals each day. Have you ever taken the time to imagine your dream life, maybe you travel the country, the world or live in a beautiful mansion on the beach? I bet your big goals excite you… you want something bigger and better in your life, but you don’t know how to get there. That’s because you’ve never taken the time to allow yourself to get really excited that it’s actually possible to create your dream life.
Our personal standards determine our expectations in life
They determine the quality of your results and the overall quality of your life. If you have high aspirations and big goals, but low sets of standards, these mediocre standards will prevent you from achieving your aspirations and goals.
- So, you must change.
How do you raise your standards so your life can get better?
1. In order to figure out what standards you have in your life, you need to be clear on what it is you want, and then you need to build your standards around that
2. Once you identify your current standards, you can start to work towards the standards that you want in your life. How do you need to act, what standards must you set, to live a life of freedom joy and abundance?
rds, then define what you want and then figure out what standards you need to implement to be at the level you want to get to, there’s one final step… you must make a plan to execute those standards each and every day.
Here are the seven complaints and excuses that are destroying your life!
I know, another podcast on how to find your passion. How to make sure you never work a day in your life blah blah blah.
I used to HATE the saying, find what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. And, to be honest, I still don’t love that saying. Because it doesn’t get you anywhere. I know that I want to do what I love forever, of course, I do! Who doesn’t know that? Everyone knows that’s a fact. It doesn’t get you any closer to finding your passion, so what does?
Around this time I realized that if I wanted to find my passion, I had to find my strengths, so, I laid out my strengths. I like people and talking to people, I enjoyed helping others, I enjoyed creating and envisioning projects and great things. I enjoyed finances and money. And with this knowledge, I set out.
First, I tried investing, not for me.
Then I tried to act as a car seller, then as an advertiser, a web designer, a recruiter, then a financial advisor. Each of these didn’t work for me, so after a month or so, I moved on.
Because by now, I knew how to find your passion, you had to try new things, new things that might scare you.
This is how you find your passion. Then, I decided to build a business, and Thought Hustle was born. And I love building this company. I found my passion, but I don’t plan to make money from this business for a while, as I am taking it slow, so while I nursed that passion, I continued to search for something that could bring me an income, as well as joy through the work.
Eventually, I landed on real estate, something that I love, and I bought a house, fixed it up, rented it out to a family for the first unit, and a friend to live with me. And I plan to grow that passion, buying more homes, while building and growing my business. These passions brought my strengths into play. Helping others, giving, managing finances, rent, and all the things I wanted to engage in on a daily basis.
That’s how you find your passion, you try new things.
4 Ways To Achieve Your Goals Your Way
There’s a book called Happy money by Elizabeth Dun and Michael Norton, it’s all about how money, a tool, can be used to bring you greater happiness.
So, what can money do to bring you more joy and others?
It’s been found, that the more people invest in others, the happier they are. The major prediction of happiness, it wasn’t the amount someone brought in, but the amount they gave out! Happiness could be seen trending in these studies, based on how much people gave to others. These studies did take into account, the difference in income. Giving money away, brought more joy, than making more money.
Money should be used to benefit yourself and others. The scrooges of the world don’t get to enjoy lives of freedom joy and abundance, because they chain themselves to a sack of money. Freedom and joy come from giving, not getting.
Three Reasons Vacation And Personal Time Are So Critically Important
Overworking yourself stresses you out and can kill you. Taking a break improves your work, concentration, and outlook on life. The billionaires of the world take time off because they know the value of it. Vacations, make life more enjoyable, and life should be enjoyed, so take time for yourself, each week, month, and year, so you can live a life of freedom, joy, and significance!
Everyone sees people becoming wealthy after starting their own business.
They see the type of lifestyle it provides, the income, the freedom, and the passion people feel. People get sucked into that hype and then they try to make it themselves, then they realize just how hard it is! Today, we will be going over the 5 unspoken challenges of starting a business
You need to be prepared to use your hard-earned money for your business. You need to be ready to dedicate time to the business, to hire and create products. And you need to be ready to make sacrifices to stay consistent, that might mean not hanging out with friends, going out to eat, or going to a bar with your buddies.
Nobody Wants To Get Out Of Their Comfort Zone, But Growth Requires It!
Staying in our comfort zone is easy but it’s also a way for us to remain stagnant and stale, as creativity and motivation take a backseat. We often find ourselves cruising through life on autopilot when we don’t find ways to challenge ourselves and our thinking.
Today we go over:

7 Steps To Reduce Your Stress
How do you stay disciplined?
You need a why and a what in your life, why do you want to do something and what do you want to do?
There are always days where you don’t want to do something that’s hard or challenging. Maybe it’s going to the gym, writing a blog post or applying to a job. However, in order to create a life filled with success, you need to discipline yourself.
Here’s a simple question I’ve used for years to motivate myself:
“Am I Destined For Greatness Or Mediocrity?”
That simple question enables me to do the things I don’t want to do, whether it’s working out, writing a blog post, researching a property, or taking a freezing cold question.
My discipline comes from a place deep inside. A place that is certain that I am destined for greatness, NOT mediocrity. Learn more about how to stay disciplined and how to do what you don’t want to do in today’s podcast!

**Today, we will be tackling the importance of investing. Particularly, the importance of investing early.
Many young adults, don’t understand the value and importance of investing while they’re young. They assume they can just wait until they’re older to start investing. They wonder, why should I start investing in the stock market when I’m twenty or thirty? Young people put off investing because they think that it won’t affect them if they choose to wait.
The power of investing while you’re young lies in the fact that your money grows the longer you leave it invested. Statistically, the S&P 500 returns 10% each year, meaning your money, invested in the S&P 500 index, will DOUBLE every 7.2 years.**
So go learn so that you can earn. How can any 20-year old become a millionaire? Start investing! If you want to start learning more about money, investing, and building wealth, here are a few of the best books that I personally have read to grow my financial wealth and knowledge! How many times do you lose focus each day? Your phone buzzes, you get distracted by a bird flying by your window or you suddenly remember, you need to go shopping while in the middle of work.
It’s annoying when we can’t accomplish what we want to because we get distracted by every little thing that’s going on around us.
Here are the five practical steps that might help you be more successful and get more prominent in your niche. So, let's dig a little deeper.
Before you go to bed, plan out what your next day is going to look like. How often do you wake up, and then, you’re rushing all over the place, trying to prepare for work or your day?
The simple fix to this is to plan your day before you go to bed. Or, you can plan your day, first thing in the morning. Whatever suits you best!
2. DO THE DIFFICULT THINGS FIRST
The more complicated the tasks, the more time we spend thinking about that task, dreading that task and avoiding it. We avoid those difficult things as long as we can, much like a student puts off writing a paper until the night it’s due. , this is perhaps one of the best ways to lose focus.
So, how do you deal with it? You do the difficult things first, as uncomfortable as that is, it makes each day far easier to deal with and face.
3.ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS
Before you turn off your notifications, whether it’s at work or at home, answer all your texts and emails. Limit your time that you give yourself, generally speaking, 15 minutes is enough time to get back to any folks who have contacted you.
4. REGENERATE AND KEEP UP YOUR ENERGY
For every hour you work, you should be taking a 5-15 minute break. According to a post by Social Triggers, for every hour worked, a 5-15 minute break is ideal.
5. CONSTANTLY REMIND YOURSELF OF YOUR ULTIMATE GOALS
Finally, remember why you’re trying to remain focused. If you’re trying to remain focused so that you can be more productive, then keep that in mind. Oftentimes, people stop trying to be focused because they lose sight of the benefits of being focused.
It’s so that you can complete things in an efficient manner,, so that you can earn more of the most valuable resource of all…
Time.
Stay focused and concentrate and you will be able to achieve more, do more, and succeed in all areas of your life.
How To Find Great Business Ideas?
Today we cover the story of a little-known Thai entrepreneur, his name is Itthipat Peeradechapan, nicknamed Tob because I can’t repeat that name over and over again. His story highlights how you can start a business starting from nothing. His story shows, that you can make money selling something as simple as seaweed to become a multi-millionaire!
Tob had an estimated worth of $600 million according to Forbes in 2018, at that time, he was the 50th richest person in Thailand.
In 2004, Itthipat founded Tao Kae Noi (Little Tycoon) Food and Marketing Co., Ltd. The brand sold fried seaweed snacks, which became highly popular among teenagers and office workers. In December 2015, the company had its initial public offer (IPO) on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, raising 1.8 billion baht.
How You Can Start A Business
There are five questions that I learned from Dane Maxwell, pulled from his podcast and book ‘Start from Zero” These five questions can start any business you might want. They are as follows and meant to be asked of someone else:
Use these questions as a springboard, to build a business that others have already stated they would pay for, what are people willing to do in order to build a fantastic business?
Financial basics:
Here are the key points from today’s show!
Can you remember the last time that you didn’t do something, not because you didn’t want to, but because you were afraid?
When was the last time that happened? Yesterday, a week ago, a month ago? It could be related to anything, from asking for a raise to applying for a new job, everyday, we let fear hold us back.
It rules our lives, when, we should be ruling it.
Failure though, failure is inevitable, and you cannot allow it to stop you from trying new things. You don’t fail when you don’t succeed, you fail when you give up.
"As I said, I wish I could say it was easy. It wasn't, but it wasn't hard either. But without a strong reason or purpose, anything in life is hard."― Robert T. Kiyosaki, Rich Dad, Poor Dad
The best and simplest way to overcome your fears is to lean into them. If you want to defeat fear, whenever it rears its ugly head, lean into it, don’t run away. In the beginning, this will be difficult, but the more you do it, the more you’ll realize how your fears are misplaced.
There will be obstacles and struggles, when you lean into fear, you are often doing one of the bravest things you could do, it won’t be easy. Because it’s challenging, many people give up, they let fear and failure, coupled together, destroy their dreams and ambitions. Don’t be that person, when an obstacle comes up, you figure it out.
If you had a baby and they were learning to walk, but they kept falling over after taking a few steps, would you give up on that baby? Would you say “Give up little one, you clearly can’t walk?” Or would you encourage that baby?
So often, we find that our first few steps are wobbly, and we GIVE UP!
Why would you let a couple of failures cause you to give up? Of course, you’re going to be wobbly, like a baby learning to walk, but that doesn’t mean you can’t do it. Pick yourself back up, those obstacles, that’s you wobbling, but you get stronger as you keep pushing forward.
How do you become a successful person?
You lean into failure, you keep pushing forward, you don’t give up and you fail over and over again until your failures have made you the strongest person in the room. Then, you will be kicking down doors, instead of being blocked by them.
In today's episode here on Thought Hustle, we go over my first home purchase, the numbers can be found below!
1. The total closing costs came out to $10,911 for the inspection, Appraisal, Radon Test, Insurance, attorney fees, and closing costs. I saved about 50% of my income for months to pay for this!
2. The mortgage on the home is $1081 and I plan to rent it for $1250. My yearly income will be about $2000, which I will set aside for any repairs and maintenance the property requires.
3. Cash On Cash return in nearly 19%, the COC is how much income you will receive, divided by the closing costs. Once I move out and rent both units, for $1250, my Cash on cash return will be over 150%, which means that the amount I put down, will be paid back within a year. Under an FHA loan, you must live in the home for a year.
4. In total, for the spackling, repainting, and minor repairs, it will cost me about $2,000

In today’s podcast episode, we take a deep dive into the habits of great leaders. We examine what makes a great leader and how you can become the best leader possible.
To be a great leader, you must lead by example. Elon Musk is reported to have slept on his factory floor, that’s an example of leading by example.
A good leader shows their passion and positivity for their tasks. A great leader builds up their team and emphasizes their strengths. A phenomenal leader leads by example supports their team and gives their all to ensure the success of those who are following them.
The characteristics of a great leader are as follows:
One of the best books I’ve read on leadership was Steven Covey’s book Principle-Centered leadership, in it, Covey outlines 7 characteristics of a great leader
Always seek to balance your life, build up others and create an atmosphere of comradery.
Challenges for you to become a great leader:
Layout your goals for your financial, mental, spiritual, and physical health, then create an action plan for how you can get to where you want to be!
Do it now, don’t wait, act, today, now! A great leader doesn’t wait for an opportunity, they create an opportunity. Start taking those small steps today, so that you can take huge leaps tomorrow.

If you want to change, aim for the root, not the leaves
“For every thousand hacking at the leaves, there is only one striking at the root” – Henry David Thoreau
Today we are going to be going over the topic of striking at the root of your problems.
So often, we find ourselves facing the same obstacles, each and every day. In today's episode, we will highlight the ways you can overcome any obstacles you might be facing. By striking at the root of the problem, instead of repeatedly hacking at the leaves.
Today we cover the importance of gratitude, including the following:
- Giving thanks is a game-changer, it changes your outlook, mood, and health.
- More gratitude has been strongly associated with greater happiness.
- In several studies, it was found that those who wrote about gratitude were more optimistic, felt better about their lives, and even exercised more.
- It was even found that managers who said two simple words, “thank you” to people who work for them, had employees who were motivated to work harder for them.
- Quite the mouthful, I know, and In one of my earlier podcasts, during my lazy days, I did share the importance of gratitude in my own life.
- Today, I would implore you to take the step towards acting more grateful in your life. Not only will it make your life overall better, but it will also change your perspective on the world.
CONSISTENCY – Stay consistent by writing down your goals, getting really clear on what it is you want. It’s easy to get sidetracked when you are trying to stick to one thing. You need to FOCUS though, you’ve probably heard the acronym FOCUS – Follow one course until success. Stick to it and know what it is you are working towards.
DISCIPLINE – Discipline is about setting yourself up for success by making the tasks you want to complete as easy as possible. It’s partly about will power and partly about making smart decisions. In order to remain disciplined you want to do the following:
1. Make your choices in advance, reduce decision fatigue
2. Remove temptation, make it easy to be disciplined
3. Make it who you are
4. Measure your progress and successes, along with your failures.
5. Eat the frog first, mark twain said: "If it's your job to eat a frog, it's best to do it first thing in the morning. If it's your job to eat two frogs, it's best to eat the biggest one first." Do the hard things first and everything else will be easy.
6. Trick yourself into your discipline
7. Find an accountability partner
Don’t be the person who looks, dreams, and never acts, be the person who looks, dreams, and achieves.
Have you ever heard some criticism that made you want to quit whatever it was you were doing when criticized?
Today, at ThoughtHustle, we go over the importance of leaning into criticism, embracing it, and using it to develop ourselves.
When you are building a business or trying something new, you are bound to do some things that don’t work. You are bound to do things that don’t make sense, this is where the criticism comes into play and benefits you. Criticism enables you to grow! Use it and utilize it!

There's an old story that talks about Henry Ford and how he was once challenged. And people were asking him if he knew everything, did he know enough? And they started asking him all of these questions as if that would qualify whether or not he was capable of running this massive car company. And so what he did is he started calling people into his office.
He called him his CFO, his CMO, he called in all the people who knew the answers to their questions. And he said I don't need to know the answer to your questions. I'm hiring the people who do and they make me the smartest man because they can answer any question that comes up.
Today, we cover how you can be like Mr. Ford.

In today’s episodes, we cover insomnia, depression, frustration, and boredom with life. Avoiding life’s problems, skipping classes, and wasting the day and night away playing video games. All at the ripe old age of 19. Been earlier than later in my case.
In today’s episode, you will learn how to break that cycle.
Takeaways:
In this episode, we cover Daniel’s 18th year of life as we continue on into the story of the life of an 18-year-old kid.
The purpose of this story is to enable those of you who are younger and feel as if you aren’t built for success. Those who feel as if their circumstances are holding them back. This is for you, to learn from, so you can see that I started where you did.
I didn’t have everything given to me, I had to make huge investments into myself and my future to build the life I wanted.
At 18, I still hadn’t accomplished or achieved anything, I was lost, struggling, depressed, and frustrated with life.
Your life and path are determined by what choices you make, what will you choose?
During the next short segment of our story, we continue to see the dull life of Daniel Goerner, not much is going on. Work, life, friends, school, the usual life, being thrown aways. If someone told us at birth that we were dying, perhaps we would start seizing each day and each opportunity.
Nobody told me that though, so the journey continues as life goes downhill, it doesn't get better, it remains mediocre.
Life is rough, life is boring, life is challenging. Why does it feel like my life has no meaning? Where am I going in life?
These are all questions I started to ask myself as challenges came up, hard times struck, and struggles started to pop up.
