Instead of wasting money on expensive marketing strategies, Mary & the FM WORLD are all about saving the customer money, whilst at the same time (we the customer) are receiving excellent quality fragrances, which are greatly appreciated in Europe, America, Africa, Asia & now in Australia.

Myself & Alison have known each other quite along time as my Nanny Lily & her Mother Ann were very good friends.
Alison opens up to me about her difficulty conceiving & the journey she went on through IVF.
Having children is a basic human desire & most couples build their lives together, around the idea of nurturing children who will follow in their footsteps.
To not to be able to have a child is a confronting issue & going through IVF can be a difficult & lonely road with several unknowns.
Alison talks to me about that road she went on & why she has always been a firm believer in what’s for you, will not go past you!
What a really lovely chat, there were plenty of laughs & a few tears.
It’s such an Irish trait to try make light out of what sometimes can be a very difficult & tough time in one’s life.
For anyone listening in, Please know your not alone. There is many people out there in the exact same boat as you.
I think we all need a little reminder to always remain kind & respectful to everyone you cross paths with. You never know what the person beside you is going through.

I met Jane only a few weeks ago as I interviewed her alongside the fabulous Cathy Brazil on the one & only Ireland Calling Radio show. Jane is one of the 13 entrants for the 2022 Sydney Rose of Tralee.

Paddy talks to me today about what it was like growing up in the Heaney household with both his parents & 3 younger brothers.
Never a dull moment as you could imagine with a house full of boys.
Sadly back in October of 2007, Paddy, who was only 18 at the time lost his beautiful Mummy to Breast cancer. He opens up to me about his grief & how completing the 600 K for J in memory of his late Mother gave him yet another goal to focus on.
Paddy has achieved so much throughout his life so far, he’s a fantastic footballer, athlete & actor. You wouldn’t know where this man would pop up next!
Paddy, thank you once again for coming on & chatting to me. I really really enjoyed the craic with you & hopefully we’ll get a pint or 20 in the bears soon.

For today’s episode I speak to the very Courageous John Paul Ricken also known as JP.
John Paul tragically lost his wife Susan, 35, to cancer in November 2021, just four weeks after she collapsed at home with severe abdominal pain that doctors first believed was appendicitis.
The couple, who are both originally from the north side of Cork, emigrated to Perth, Australia, in 2011 where they set up a life together and started a family, welcoming son Leo, now two-and-a-half years old, in June 2019 and baby Lucy, who has just recently celebrated her 1st birthday.
John Paul talks to me today about his beautiful wife Susan, their two incredible children & how he is determined to raise awareness about the occurrence of bowel cancer in young people by setting up the Susan Ricken foundation in memory of his late wife.
JP it was a pleasure speaking with you, your a phenomenal Father & a true gentleman. Susan will be guiding you all the way, I’ve no fear of that.
Sending you, Leo & Lucy all the love in the world & best of luck in your new chapter together in Ireland & all the best with your campaigning for Susan.

Sarah reminisces to me about her Nanny & all the wonderful times they shared together. Growing up she was always there for Sarah & when Kathleen got that bit older & needed that bit of extra support, Sarah was always there for her, as was all the family.
Sarah, it was so lovey listening to you talk about your Nanny, your wee face does light up. It was obvious that you had an incredible bond with her & that will never go, I can guarantee you that! I hope their all up there celebrating Kathleen’s big 80th birthday today. Lord, could you imagine the craic?

Ciara and her boyfriend David Gavin moved to Canada from Co. Mayo in 2017.
They were childhood sweethearts, madly in love and excited to start a new adventure together. A few months after settling into their new lives, David travelled to a GAA match with his teammates. They stopped at a lake to cool down but tragedy struck when David was pulled under the water and never resurfaced. This is a heartbreaking story but Ciara bravely tells me about what she went through that year as they searched for David's body.
Coming away from my chat with Ciara, I was blown away by her strength & determination. She has an incredible outlook on life now & what she has achieved on her personal journey of grief is astounding to say the least.
So Ciara, a massive thank you once again for coming on the podcast & being so open, honest & real with me. I know in my heart David has never left you & he will be continuing to keep you on your toes xxx

Sadly on the 2nd of June 2007, Deborah tragically lost her eldest Daughter Patrice. Patrice, who was working for Tony & Guy hairdressers at that time was driving home from Belfast on the A1 when she lost control of her vehicle & crashed.
Today Deborah opens up about losing her Daughter so suddenly. She talks to me about how for her, time does not heal, but rather she has learned to live with the pain.
Deborah, your an incredible Mother. Patrice was so lucky to have you in her life as were you. Seeing you talk about your three wonderful children, your face does light up! It’s evident that you live & breath them.

Im so delighted to have our Cheryl all the way from Ireland joining me on the podcast.
Cheryl is a very important person in my life & has been from day one. For all of you that don’t already know, Cheryl’s Mummy Katrina & my Mummy Gráinne are Sisters which makes us first cousins, but in fact we’re so much more. Cheryl is my Sister from a different mister, my best friend & my wingman all rolled into one! We’ve been together since day dot & have had each others backs ever since.
Sadly back in October 2004, Cheryl tragically lost her Big Brother Christopher, who was only 23 at the time to a freak accident whilst he was at work.
Cheryl shares her story about her Brother & her fondest memories of their short time together. We reminisce it all, from his unique calmly demeanor, to his big loud hardy laugh & not forgetting that massively gorgeous infectious smile of his that could have brightened up the darkest of days!
There is no doubt about it that my chat with our Cheryl was a very emotional one. Today being our Christopher’s anniversary, 17 years on, its still so very raw & painful for us to talk about. I suppose you could say that was the day our family fractured forever.
Asking our Cheryl to relive the worst day of her life was never going to be an easy thing to do. I am so incredibly proud of the woman she has become & I know our Christopher would be beaming with pride from up there for his wee Sister.
Christopher was a beautiful man who is without a doubt, the perfect angel, forever young and never forgotten.
A man, a friend, a brother, a son, a grandson, a cousin and a hero!
This episode is especially for you our fella.

For today’s episode I sit down with an absolute gent of a man who goes by the name of Paul Culloty.
Co. Kerry native Paul, now lives in a little town called Bluewater in Townsville south of Cairns Queensland, with his wife Aleisha & their two gorgeous kids, Cora & Neddy.
Some of you may already know Paul from the TV programme, Australian Ninja Warrior which does be aired on channel 9.
Paul, or as the show liked to refer to him as thee “Irish Ninja!” was very successful & he managed to make it all the way to the semi finals in August of last year.
Paul reminisces to me about driving trucks with his Father from no age, losing his biggest supporter in life, his Mother, Siobhan to cancer back in June of 2015 & how he stubbled across a gorgeous little Aussie girl one night in the local pub.
I think it’s fair to say that Paul’s passions in life are his family, lorry driving, cattle chasing & beer drinking.

Stephen who works in the construction industry has seen quite a few dark days. After loosing both his Mother & then his Father a few years later, very suddenly, Stephen took to the bottle.
Stephen opens up to me about his grief, work stress & daily struggles & how he now knows that drink is never the solution.
I found this chat with Stephen a very emotional one. There is no doubt about it that Stephen is a very hardworking family man who just wants to be the best version of himself.
In life we all make mistakes & are only human & when you hit rock bottom it’s takes unbelievable strength & courage to face those demons head on & fight your way back to the top!
Stephen, you are one brave man with the biggest heart & I wish you & your gorgeous little family all the luck in the world.

Eamon is the founder of Taste of Ireland here in Australia.
Originally from Cookstown, Co Tyrone. It all started when Eamon arrived as a backpacker for the Olympic Games in Sydney.
He noticed a gap in the market here with all the Irish people but no Irish produce.
So in 2002, Eamon cheekily raffled off a bag of Tayto’s at a fundraiser for $25.
Fast forward on right through to 2020, Taste of Ireland is now the largest distributor of nostalgic European food brands in the Southern Hemisphere.
Coming away from my chat with the very successful CEO, I laughed at thinking it all started with a packet of Tayto’s.
There’s a big msg for us all in Eamon’s story & it’s that if you put your heart & soul into your dream then that dream is going to become a reality.

Lianne talks to me today about growing up as an only child in Newtownhamilton or as she likes to call it “ The Beverly Hills of South Armagh.”
Realising at an early age that she was gay, Lianne took the bull by the horns & came out to her family & friends, which was not an easy thing to do.
Fast forward through the school years & University, Lianne always had a passion for working with the public & wanted to have her own business & be her own boss, that being so, McCooey’s was born March 2013.
Lianne chats about the highs & lows of running her own business & the effect 2020 had on her Mental health.
Knowing McCoo (as I like to call her) from back home & with following her on Insta & I can honestly hand on heart say that she is one of the most down to earth, funniest people I’ve ever met. She just says it as it is & I personally think that is to be commended.

This week I speak to the very fabulous Luke McCaul AKA Peaches Queen.
Luke chats to me about what it was like growing up in Dublin in the 90’s.
After realising at a very young age that he was gay & liked to cross dress, Luke embraced it head on. He talks to me about getting bullied & picked on because of his sexuality, but that never phased him. He knew deep down he was destined for bigger & better things.
So, Luke moved out of his home house when he was 18 to be bang in the middle of the whole gay scene in the city centre & to explore the world of drag & in 2010 he was crowned ‘Alternative Miss Ireland’ as the very fabulous Peaches Queen
Peaches is a big part of Luke’s life here in Sydney. What they have created over they years here has been amazing & he is getting ready to host his very own drag show in the Gaelic club Surry Hills on Saturday 25th of September. Tickets are now available to purchase from Luke.
Folks, this will be one hell of a peachy night!!!!
Coming away from our chat I was buzzing like a bee,
Luke’s bravery towards life is amazing, I only wish I was half as brave as you were growing up in my teens.
It’s takes courage to grow up & become who you really are & Luke you have mastered this without any flaws whatsoever.

The lovely Tina King- Garde.
Tina originates from Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. She is the youngest of 4 & she arrived to Australia in 1985.
When Tina first landed she didn’t know what to make of it all, arriving with no qualifications & little experience, She had to give it her best shot & make a go of it.
So, Tina started to work in the Gaelic club at central & that led her to being very involved in the Irish National Association.
In 2004, Tina met her Husband Phil who was also very involved in the community & life changed again, from being an independent woman in her 40’s to then becoming a pair. Unfortunately after 10 short years together, Phil was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer & sadly lost his fight to the illness on the 27th August 2014. Not having a job at the time or children, there was nothing to keep her occupied & so fell in to that dark hole of what we call depression.
Tina talks to me very openly about her grief & how her mental health deteriorated after she lost the love her life.
Fast forward on 7 years & Tina is now in a very good place in her life. She is a very busy woman here within the Irish community & she is one of the presenters on the local radio station here ‘Ireland’s Calling!’
I feel like we could all learn so much from Tina, I was in awe listening to her story. She has such a beautiful way of expressing herself Her bravery towards life is to be admired. Yet, another lady that is an absolute inspiration to us all, especially us women.
So Tina, thank you so much again for sitting & talking to me, I could have sat & listened to you for hours & always remember Phil is with you every step of the way.

The Doss Boss, the lady, that is Ciara Doran!
Ciara, originates from Co Wexford in Ireland & has been living in Sydney for the past 12 years.
Ciara’s dream was to open up her own bar here in Sydney & low & behold she did it. 2018, The Doss House opened its doors. Unfortunately during what was suppose to be a very exciting time for Ciara she received that call we all dread when living so far away from home. Ciara talks about the passing of her Mother to Parkinson’s disease & how her mental health suffered in the aftermath. Fast forward a couple of years & Ciara is now getting ready to open up her 2nd bar in the Rocks, Frank Mac’s ⭐️
After coming away from our conversation, I thought to myself, holy god , what a woman!!! Ciara is an absolute force to be reckoned with, her willpower & bravery towards life is astonishing.
Ciara, you’re an inspiration to us all & thank you again so much for coming on & talking to me. Without a doubt your Mammy is up there chuffed to bits with her girl ⭐️

Darragh, talks to me today about growing up in Dublin.
In his teenage years Darragh, you could say was a-bit of a wild card & after getting expelled from school during his junior cert he didn’t know what the future was going to hold for him.
So, he decided to go out & get a trade under his belt, he originally wanted to be a carpenter but that option didn’t work out so plumbing was next in line.
After qualifying he decided to jump ship & head to Australia, he landed in 2008 & what a world wind it’s been for this man.
Fast forward on a few years & he is now a very successful life coach, Husband & Father of two very gorgeous children.
Darragh’s passion, determination & strength has got him where he is today.
I came away from recording this episode thinking to myself, imagine if the world had a million Darragh’s in it? Jaysus what happy, loving place, it would be ️

Shay chats about growing up in Dublin, the sudden loss of his Father back in September 1984 & the huge impact that had on them as a family.
He talks to me about taking over the family business, the recession in Dublin in the late 1980’s & how he wanted to create the original Irish butcher here in Australia.
Coming away from this conversation I was filled with positive vibes, he’s not only a very hardworking, successful business man, he’s one of the most kindest, salt of the earth people I’ve ever came across out here in Sydney.
Shay, I’m sure you’re Mummy & Daddy are proud as punch of you from up there, as you are keeping the original Irish butcher dream ALIVE & KICKING!!!

This was an emotional episode to record.
Jackie’s Daughter Nicole sadly took her own life in January 2018. This was due to years & years of online & face to face torment.
Nicole’s life was turned upside down and she was deprived of the every day joys a young person should have growing up.
Jackie speaks openly about the physical abuse her Daughter faced and the manipulation that came with it.
I was blown away by Jackie’s strength to go through the loss of her Daughter but then decide one day how can I ensure others do not have to go through the same thing and this is where COCO’s Law comes in. Jackie explain’s what this law entails why it is so important to her that her Daughter’s legacy lives on.
I’m so inspired by Jackie’s strength and determination to protect others from suffering like Nicole.
The whole story is absolutely astounding and serves as a stark reminder that the online world can be cruel place. If you are a parent please be mindful of you’re children’s activity and as an adult move away from negative platforms that do not bring you joy.
This episode is a reminder to us all how important it is to be kind to everyone, to understand and value each other and extend you’re support when needed.

In April 2020 I lost my Granda, my sidekick, my best friend, he was my absolute go to person in life and the one I could turn to in any given situation.
So, I decided at the start of the new year that I was going to create my own podcast in memory of my Granda, the late, the great Bobby White.
