We live in a complex and challenging world, and these challenges have impacted every aspect of life including relationships. As God's people we need to hear clearly from His perspective and wisdom for all things relational. Join us for the next six weeks as we look at how God brings clarity into relational complexity.

This Easter series will focus on how powerful Jesus’ words are. His words give grace, hope and victory in this life. They help bring meaning to His death and resurrection and what that now means for us. Join us as we walk through messages focusing on the power of words in Scripture.

The world we live in is chaotic. In the midst of the confusion it is easy for our tendency to be to hide from culture, fight with culture, or assimilate to culture. What if there was a better way? The epistle of Titus addresses very real issues in God’s Church today and challenges us to examine what we believe about Jesus, doctrine, the church, leadership and living godly lives. Join us for the next eight weeks as we learn to “live grace in a chaotic world”.

Much of the hope and comfort that stems from Isaiah 9:6 comes from the names or titles the prophet gives to the anticipated Messiah: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. In a world looking for hope during the rush and consumerism that has largely come to define Christmas, we want to focus on a few of the specific names of Jesus and how they impact our lives.
Join us this fall as we kick off a series called Unfinished. This series highlights a core truth, that the book of Acts is “unfinished”, the story continues because God is not done working. He is still working through His people and His church. Starting in Acts 13 we have the call to go to the Gentile world and make disciples of the whole earth. Empowered by Gods Spirit, we are now called to continue the plan of sharing of the gospel, and our prayer, passion and focus at The Grove is that in our generation we begin to see this fulfilled.

King David wrote the words in Psalm 63:2-4: “I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. 3 Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. 4 I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.” When you think about the word “powerful”, what comes to mind? Maybe your mind goes to a big powerful storm; for others maybe it’s a large powerful animal. Others may think about a politician or a professional athlete as someone powerful. The definition in Websters Dictionary defines powerful as “having great power, prestige or influence”. This summer, we will see God’s powerful work through the life of one of His powerful servants in the Old Testament books of 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel.

Life is messy, sometimes overwhelmingly so. In the midst of the messiness of our lives, Jesus wants us to live in freedom. He wants us to trust Him with our mess and allow Him: into our broken past, into the mess we have made by our own sin, into the mess that we deal with from how we have been sinned against, and into the mess that comes from living in a broken world. Join us for the next six weeks as we look at stories of how Jesus engages our mess and people engage Jesus recognizing that Jesus loves messy people.

In life there are times where we all need a little adjustment and realignment to bring the things back into focus, the church is no exception. Join us at The Grove for our new teaching series (re)focus. We will be digging into what God’s word calls us to be as followers of Jesus!
People often wrestle with how to respond to Jesus. No one witnesses a world-changing event without being affected in some way. The greatest events in human history, the death and resurrection of Jesus, are no different. Responses then were wide and varied, but everyone was impacted. Join us for our Good Friday service and Easter Sunday service as we look at some of the responses to the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Returning from exile, the prophet Haggai had an important message for God’s people. They had forgotten their God, choosing instead to focus on their own interests. Because of this it was time for them to “consider their ways” and to build what God had called them to. Join us for the next four weeks as we see how God builds into our lives, and the kingdom blessing that comes as a result of it.

Have you ever regifted something you have been given? According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, regifting is to “give someone a gift that was previously received from someone else.” One in three of us have regifted at one time or another during the holidays. As followers of Jesus, we enter the Advent Season knowing full well that we have received the greatest gift ever given, the gift of Jesus Christ. Because of that gift we have a hope, peace, love and joy that the world doesn’t understand. What if we were to unwrap these Advent gifts, and instead of keeping them to ourselves, what if we were to actually share them? To pass them deliberately, strategically on to others. What would it look like? What could it look like to really regift Advent? Join us for our Christmas series at The Grove as we unpack what Jesus gave to His people and how we can give it away.
During uncertain times it is essential for us to remember that God is good, He is in control and His promises can be trusted. Today, more than ever, we need to learn to rest in the truth that our times are in God’s hands.
