So I know it's Friday, not Monday, but we secured a meeting with the Mayor of Memphis Jim Strickland and I felt that deserved a special edition episode. We met with the Mayor to discuss our demands for Tyre Nichols and the Chief of Police CJ Davis showed up too (huge surprise) so one of my organizing homies LJ and I are going to breakdown how the meeting came to be, what happened during the meeting, and what we're expecting moving forward.
On today's episode I'll be breaking down the activism and organizing that's taken place so far to get Justice For Tyre, how I found out about it, and what the demands are from the family and the memphis community. I start from Janury 7th to today chrnologically going through every action, press conference, and protest breaking down the progress we've made so far to get #JusticeforTyre.
