Welcome to the Scented Skin podcast, were we discusses everything from business and career development, current events and popular culture to relationships and the myths of marriage. Be sure to subscribe on your favorite podcast listening platform and leave us a 5 star review if you enjoy the content. Thank you for listening and enjoy the show!
In this episode, I'll be exploring the concept of content creation and the pressure that content creators often face to produce riveting content on one particular topic. I'll discuss the idea of layering my interests in content creation and experimenting with different types of content to avoid getting stuck in a niche.
We'll delve into the recent controversy surrounding Just Pearly Things, a popular content creator who recently interviewed Nick Fuentes. During the interview, Just Pearly Things made a comment about blacks/africans that sparked a backlash from her audience.
I'll discuss the fallout from her comments and the larger issue of how content creators can navigate sensitive topics while still creating engaging and meaningful content. I'll also explore the importance of being open to learning and growing as a content creator, even when it means making mistakes and facing criticism.
Join me for a thoughtful and thought-provoking conversation about the challenges and rewards of content creation, and the importance of staying true to myself while also pushing myself to evolve and grow.

In this episode, I address some tips that were shared with me on how to set personal boundaries. I found these tips extremely useful and easy to implement. Personal boundaries are important because they set the stage for how you want or expect to be treated by others. Boundaries are a basic rubric you can create that defines how others should expect to behave around you. This episode will give you some easy and actionable steps to establish some personal boundaries for yourself.

Happy New Year everyone! It's good to be back. (I know, I know its 21 days into the new year but a new year nevertheless ;-)) In my first episode of the year I chronicle, in a story time format my recent trip to Nigeria with my one year old son, and the lessons I learned in the process. (spoiler alert: IT WAS STRESSFUL). It is definitely a good listen, especially if you are a mother thinking of traveling to Nigeria or anywhere overseas with your toddler under the age of 3.
I also briefly touch on an amazing interview series I watched with Sam Vaknin about the TRUE toxicity of social media and how we can identify and recognize what habits are toxic in relationship to social media. This video is in no way meant to deter or discourage anyone from using social media, but simply a great resource of information to have, to enable you to make more informed decisions about our social media habits and those habits of your children. IT IS A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED WATCH!!!

Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m38W8glySGw
I hope you guys enjoy the story time and my takeaways! Looking forward to a fruitful 2019 & again it's good to be back!
Peace & Love Always
