Filip Šebo started his career in Cologne, Germany, then played for Inter Bratislava and Artmedia Petržalka. In 2004/2005 he was the best scorer of the Corgon League. He then joined Austria Vienna. In 2006 he transferred from Australia to Glasgow Rangers, where he played 24 matches in the 2006/07 season, scoring 2 goals. After the arrival of coach Smith, he did not get many opportunities, so in August 2007 he agreed on a yearly hosting with the French Premier League club Valenciennes FC. In May 2008 he completed the transfer and became a core player of Valenciennes. In September 2010 he signed for Slovan Bratislava for 2.5 years. In February 2014, he acted since joining Lekhwiya FC, Qatar. However, there was no agreement on the financial terms and no transfer occurred. In 2015, there was an agreement between the player and the club Petržalka Academy, but he did not play a large number of matches. He is currently doing triathlon.

Kariéru začal v nemeckom Kolíne, potom hrával za Inter Bratislava a Artmediu Petržalka. V ročníku 2004/2005 bol najlepším strelcom Corgoň ligy. Následne prestúpil do klubu Austria Viedeň. V roku 2006 prestúpil z Austrie do Glasgow Rangers, kde počas sezóny 2006/07 odohral 24 zápasov, v ktorých strelil 2 góly.
