Tuesday Evening Sermon
Believing what Jesus says about Prayer
Matthew 6:5-15, 7:7-11
The devil wants you to think of prayer as a performance.
Remember... prayer is always, only between you and God.
God knows you so be real.
Every time you pray always...
begin by acknowledging God in spirit and in truth. submit to God’s will. ask God to provide for our needs today. ask for the strength to forgive and for forgiveness ourselves. ask for protection against sin. trust in God’s love for you. Genesis 1:16; Matthew 4:4; John 4:34; 2 Corinthians 12:7-10
Monday Evening Sermon Believing what Jesus says about The Holy Spirit
John 16:7
The adversary wants you to marginalize the Advocate.
When we marginalize the Holy Spirit we...
ignore the power of the Christian life. ignore the One who renews us. ignore the One who gives us purpose. ignore fellowship with God
In the mean-time:
Treat the Holy Spirit like a person. Study what the Bible says about Him. Talk to the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is the margin by which we win or fall short.

Sunday Evening Sermon
Believe What Jesus said about the Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15:12-26; Matthew 28:1-15
If we believe in the resurrection, nothing can stop us, not even...
Hopelessness - keep following Jesus through the hopeless situations. Fear - take the time to compare every fear with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Public opinion - Choose to trust Jesus over everyone else (even yourself). Our greatest sins - Let Jesus handle your sins. Lies – Why was the tomb empty?
“The last enemy to be destroyed is death.” – 1 Corinthians 15:26

Sunday Morning Sermon
Believing Jesus
We believe in Jesus instead of believing Jesus.
What you believe affects your behavior.
We don’t believe we’re saved.
You don’t hope you’ll make it to heaven, you know. You have nothing to lose here.
How do you know you are saved?
Have you accepted salvation? Do you believe Jesus? Have you repented of your sins? Have you confessed your belief in Jesus? Have you been baptized into Christ? Preach the Gospel to yourself every day. Choose to believe Jesus, every day.
