Some people have journals, others have YouTube Channels, but I have a podcast. This is where I journal my Thoughts about Jesus and my walk as a Bible believing a Christian and every so often I introduce someone special into this podcast of mine. Whether your new to my podcast or have been following me since the beginning, I’m honored and pleased to have you here to listen to what I have to say. Shalom! We must be honest in our walk with the lord, and the contrary only leads to deception. To somehow make a god that suits our lifestyle would then be breaking the Commandment of "making a graven image". We would be rejecting the God of scripture and play The Potter and start to form a god that would accept your acts of sin as merely acts of pleasure.

Being Honest entails, we must Repent of things that God abhors.

things that God has said in His Word that we should avoid and take no part in.

True Repentance looks ugly and too often we make it look cute, but the end product doesn't sell.

in-fact, true repentance usually follows with someone who desires to pursue Christ.

while a false repentance would lead someone to no conviction and no change.

①.What Does it mean to repent?

Turn away from Sin

⦁Acts 3:19, Mark 1:15

19 So turn away from your sins. Turn to God. Then your sins will be wiped away. The time will come when the Lord will make everything new.

" Chained by the habit of sin" Billy Grahams

Act 17:30 "God commands all to people everywhere to repent"

Christians should welcome honest rebukes if that would mean that you have brothers who would keep you accountable in your walk with Jesus.

Example: Galatians 2:11-21

An Active relationship with God is a struggle. One can believe that they are a Christian or living in obedience only because they are outwardly expressing Christian love or displaying some Christian practices yet Acts of Charity isn't the same as talking to the lord.  we aren't Christians because of any acts on our behalf. You're Missing the point! Christianity has never been about checking boxes. What's weighing you Down in your Talk with Jesus? What's getting in your way of having an honest conversation with your savior? I believe it's time you cut ties with certain practices and become honest with the Lord.

Am I alone in that I reflect on How God has brought me from death to life?

From a place where I focused on temporal and meaningless practices to having "Faith" lens and seeing things for what they are, God-intended.

From saving my soul from eternal death to changing my heart and progressively sanctifying me until His second coming (Phil 1:6).

The other side of the coin is, What if I haven't changed much? Thank God our walk with Jesus isn't performance based. We are not competing with anyone but we ought to be willing to allow the Holy Spirits Fruits be noticeable and allow it to bleed into all facets of our Social and Non-Social life. If we grieve the Spirit (Eph 4:29-32) or quench it (1 Thessa 5:19), we will be faced with a very questionable walk that that

James 1:23-24

(23For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was.)

here is the conclusion of the matter:

Fear God and keep his commandments,

for this is the duty of all mankind” (**Ecclesiastes 12:13*).

Have you ever felt so careful about what you say as a Christian that you would rather be quiet and say nothing than say something and come off wrong?

Too many times are we boxed in for saying the right things that we feel rather "free" when not saying anything at all... but is that or should we be so concerned about what the opinions of others are?

People will not always love or consider the wisdom of God in scripture and yes, we should be wise about how we communicate the message of the bible but don't be so overwhelmed with the the delivery that satan robs you from an opportunity of doing Gods will.

Everyone is constantly being offended by various ideologies, it just happens that people prefer the comfort of lies than Truth.

If we are not careful about our walk with Jesus, we can easily adopt a worldly method of succeeding and attempt to wrap god and even mold a god of our likeness. Let alone what God says about himself, we begin to believe that success is a a sign from god of our obedience and faithfulness. And if we are being honest with ourselves and God, we know we are actually in disobedience.

There are obviously hundreds of reasons people leave the Church, ranging from "the pastor left" to "graduating high school and entering College". From the Church pushing Tithing to Church Doctrine or Musical Style being changed. Not only are people leaving The Church but they're even being drawn away and discouraged from their intimate relationship with Jesus. Are their Valid reasons to leave the Church, if so, at what cost? Where are we then to go after we leave? Is it Gods plan for us to be alone and not strive for fellowship with the saints? Nothing weighs heavier in my heart than the falling away of a believer or even "Possible Believer". With all of that being said, lets remind ourselves we will take account of our actions with God for what we do in this side of Heaven.  In todays episode I have a few people who will be joining the discussion, I hope you enjoy the episode and freely share it with your social media friends. When all we see is the “down fall” of others, we begin to not see the “down fall” of ourselves. We become unappreciative of the Work that God has done to others by making “Swiss Cheese” theories of people’s journey with God and the things that God is doing. All is said to cover up a bigger issue that lies within ourselves that can hinder growth and a true relationship with Jesus.

Decision making can be difficult, especially when a person's character is at play. They either have a “Quitter” mentality or a “Go Getter” one. Decisions, if not well-thought out, do have the power of instilling a type of false-confidence that isn’t willing to achieve anything but to Quit or Give up on everything as long as its reward is a comfort that's equivalent to what they are used to.

There’s Only One Excuse In Life!

Choices Are Critical In Crafting Character

  • What if you chose Loyalty rather than disloyalty? (Family, Sports team and Friendship)

Stick To Your Guns!

  • Priority ought to always take precedence in personal Desires or Wants.

The only excuse in life is having no excuse!

It isn’t always the words that you say that will fix the issue but your presence that is enough to express your love. Assume there’s an argument and you had the correct formula to devastate your opponent, your wife or husband. Let's say, they did not see it coming. You await the opportunity to land the blow and you finally deliver the profound blow. You win the argument and put your significant other in a trance. So now what? You won the argument but are left still living with this person and feeling a long lasting awkwardness. You then come to the sense that winning didn’t always feel pleasure-full or nearly as satisfying.

  • Avoid trying to be D.Phil.

*issues are not mathematical

  • issues aren’t always best resolved logically

  • Communication is Key

*Proverbs 15:1 -- “A soft word turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

  • “Listen with the intent to understand and not with the intent to respond”

  • Counter Lies with Truth and not opinions.

  • Don’t be full of word and talk, devoid of deeds and truth.

*Words fall short where actions speak louder

*Being right isn’t always right (Arguments drag out because one is too stubborn to forgive and the other is too proud to apologize.

Much younger than I am today, I would force puzzle 🧩 pieces into places they didn’t belong. In the process, I would wreck the corners of the puzzle piece and almost hinder the beautiful image that comes with finishing this committing (and usual dreadful) task. I wonder if that’s the case today, If I’m (or you) forcing yourself to fit in a puzzle that you use to fit in but no longer belong? Self-reflection is part of the developmental aspect human growth (at least I would believe so). We reflect in our earlier years and by the Grace of Jesus, we acknowledge our current state. Maybe, we no longer fit because we are no longer the same size of a puzzle 🧩 piece we use to be. Only when we try to force ourselves to fit in (friends, family or work clicks), we hinder ourselves from the growth that Christ is doing in our life (sanctification, obedience and loving Jesus). We suddenly wage war with attempting to stay consistent with our past “persona” and wrestle with the new “creation” God is calling us to be. We like to live a new life in Christ yet while holding onto the very thing that Christ died for, our sin.

  • COVID shots are going to be a thing now, how should we approach it?

should we take the medicine in hope of prevention or do we abstain from taking the  Covid shot and maybe saving ourselves from future biological secondary complications.

  • We'll Pray About IT

Too often the church responds very quickly when people ask for prayer, yet not so much when it's a call to "action" in topics of "Mental Help". Somehow we believe that's a result of lack of faith, lack of prayer and we excuse ourselves from furthering a possible commitment in helping a brother in Christ by stating "we'll pray about it". We use this statement a little too often and not only in personal issues but in Biblical duties. This statement, like a magician, has become somewhat of a Slight of hand for Christians, like a scapegoat.

The world is in a constant observation for the fall of the Christian. Our goal is to live like Christ through our walk and our speech, nevertheless, its hard for others to love a God that we serve when we are not loving others.

the consequences of our sins not only impacts us and our walk but also others who are following us while we follow Christ. Todays episodes talks about how " our sinful habits do hurt those who follow us"

Those who are spiritually Blind cannot lead. As Christ followers, we make the mistake of allowing those opinions affect our walk with Christ. We yearn the acceptance of the world but put-off the commands of God. It isn't something we ponder much about, but mistakes happen and they are important to acknowledge and learn from them.

Being a Christian isn't about having everything together but ultimately relying on Christ for everything and yes, that means evangelism.

Evangelism doesn't always have to look the same for everyone but does have the same requirement, which is to speak to others about the Message of the Gospel.

Understand we are justified by Christ and His work On The Cross!

Having been saved, we are constantly in battle with sin. To defeat sin, we cannot indulge in the very thing Christ abhors.

The very thing that doesn't produce the fruit of the Spirit but encourages the selfishness of the Flesh.

Let us put away with the Flesh and Fill our days with Gods Word.

Romans 8:7-8

King James Version 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

let me begin by stating that we need to pray for Nathan.

I don't know exactly how he was brought up but by his lack of understanding of the Bible, I personally do not believe he is saved.

I worry for Nathan since he seemed to have created a god of his own image, and have not gotten the true understanding of Gods true Justice towards sin.

Nathan in so many ways personifies your average "Christian" believer. They attend church for many years but lack knowledge of what the bible says. They are quick to state the years they have attended church but are very superficial in their belief of God.

Pray For Nathan!

Grew up influenced by drugs. Wanted to experience what his life would have been like if he continued the lifestyle, and to understand his currently incarcerated son. Johnny begins by sharing his personal testimony of his walk as a former gang related member and how his life has also been reformed by God and is now a Believer of Christ. He then jumps into his journey through his experience in jail in which he volunteered for on a show called "60 Days In" that premiered on A&E.

Sorry for the static, I've tried to remove it and haven't been successful. Hope this episode is still enjoyable and will definitely make sure it doesn't happen again.

Admitting to others that we can't detect suspicious acts or bad influence is almost asking too much. We become too prideful in assuming that we can "Sound the alarm" whenever someone who is of "bad morals"is near, that we can somehow Change them or for a period, attempting to play as "god". Here are my 2 Cents!

Your children's are your daily surveillance cameras. They watch over you but not to help you so much as it is to learn from you. You are their example on how to tackle life, how to confront life and how to manage the outcomes of life. Too often we are told how to conduct ourselves by nonbelievers but is that what the bible tells us? Is God careless with us? if not then why should we then be? i hope this episode brings about some good insight on scripture.

Dustin Armstrong dedicated 10+ years to the New Age Movement, believed it and taught it, until Christ intervened.  Should Christians part take in Yoga? Can Christians live a life of Hindu practices and still live in obedience to Christ and His Word? Dustin Gives us his insight and why he disagrees on the integration of the New Age Belief and Christianity. But, if you ask me, we would be a "walking Paradox" if we continue a life of pagan practices if we roll with a mindset of "Ends justifying the means".  which the " end" is better health.

let's be careful with the words we chose to give life to.

slandering or being judgmental towards someone is so common,  we often let them slide or we join in the conversation.

why don't we just press the brakes before it goes any further?

Being a Believer is tough but let's begin today with self-disciplining our speech for the Glory of God.

Luk 7:26  What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.

Luk 3:4  As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Mar 1:6  Now John was clothed with camel's hair and wore a leather belt around his waist and ate locusts and wild honey.

Mar 1:7  And he preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie.

When Did you last share the Gospel with an unsaved person? What happened?

He was coming near the boat, and they were afraid. 20But he said to them, “It is I.[d] Don’t be afraid.” 21Then they were willing to take him on board, and at once the boat was at the shore where they were heading.

No matter where we are in life, no matter what storm we face or find ourselves in the middle of-no matter the losses, the challenges, the valleys, the obstacles, and the heartaches we are in "the midst of" or "find ominously looming out in front of us"- we will all decide how and with whom we will choose to go through them. 1 Peters 1:3-4

Loneliness isn't something we share or speak much about with others. it isn't something we feel or would classify as a "light" topic.

often times we think people may not want to take a dive at the deep end but, people don't certainly drown so much either in the shallow.

we seek for refuge, we seek for a strong tower (Probs 18:11)

Christ Rising from the dead is exactly that. He is out Tower, He  is our Strength, and its only when we give our emotions the power, we become puzzled about our present state.

Cling to Christ!

Titles are lovely but also heavy in responsibilities.

Christian titles are seen as grab bags but they are really heavy duty positions. not to be taken lightly but Christian titles dont save anymore than non-Christian titles.

lets not take these positions given to us by God and turn them against ourselves with religious motives.

IS God looking for a "religious" people? people who know Him only through laws and ordinances but no relationship?

Is the human soul satisfied with reciting prayers and attending Sunday service that we dont yearn for an intimate relationship with our Savior?

Was Jesus not slightly annoyed in Luke 11 with the Pharisees and how they have "burdensome" the people their many laws?

Jesus is looking for a people who understands their need for a savior and not trying to earn their way to heaven through deeds or religious loopholes.

Here is the first episode out of 10 "ways that unsaved people think they're saved".  The Bible in various passages tells us that we are Broken and sinful people, that we cannot by any merit earn our way to heaven by our good works (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 64:6) "I Am a Good person" is a typical Christian Cliché that should raise a red flag. Here in this episode we address this Cliché and hope to give you a more biblically sound approach to the Faith and that our good deeds or our ethical/moral performance isn't what saves us but Christ and Christ alone.

We must be ready at all time to respond to heretical statements made by so called "Christians" who are actually not Christians.

false converts are everywhere and if the "fruits" they bear are rotten, its very likely their Theology is also.

So don't remove yourself from a conversation, God can use you to clean up the mess.

So next time you pray, ask for some persecution and to speak to a nonbeliever everyday.

Heres my first attempt to a Devotion. I hope you guys are blessed by it.

We can see here that Jesus arrives where Lazarus has happened to be deceased.  Confronted by Martha (his sister), Jesus is questioned on why he didn't arrive earlier. After a few bits of Dialogue, Martha understand that none of this has been ever out of the mind of God. Jesus being a friend of Lazarus (John 11:11) had a deep care for him. Why does Jesus wait 4 days when he could have just went for the rescue the moment he died? ultimately, Christ brings Glory to Himself by making a public display of His majesty by raising Lazarus from the dead in the public setting. clearing all doubts but also bringing Hope of the Savior to all.
