Regen exists to be a hub where young adults in Vancouver can join a community that is genuine, dynamic, and welcoming. This is a place where anyone ages 18-25 can get connected with others and to God.

After miraculously escaping genocide in Rwanda, Africa, Chris arrived in Canada as a teenager, settling in Winnipeg before moving to Vancouver in 2011. Chris loves to speak about God’s power, love, and grace as he has seen and experienced it in his life.
Erin Larose is the Youth Pastor at Home Church Red Deer. Erin came to Bible College at Home Church in 1996 and has held many different staff positions as well as was a volunteer in youth for 13 years. In 2013 she took on the role as youth pastor and has found her sweet spot in ministry. Erin is passionate about the local church and the gospel of Jesus.
Simon oversees community outreach at Broadway Church. One of the ways he does this is by providing leadership and vision to the CityReach Care Society.
Jason is one of the hosts of the Alpha Youth Film Series and a pastor at his home church, Christian Life Assembly. He works with Alpha Canada to build resources that serve the local church.

Fari was originally born in Iran and was brought up as a Muslim believer. It was first in Canada that him and his family were introduced to Christianity. In the year 2004 Fari put his faith in Christ and shortly after started studying at Christ College in Surrey. While still in Bible college Fari got married to Angela in 2006 and today they have two beautiful girls. In the year 2008 he graduated with a Bachelor of Theology and very soon after started working at the Union Gospel Mission on the outreach team serving the community in the Downtown Eastside. Fari was ordained at Coastal Church in 2011 and continued to minister as an outreach worker at UGM.
On January 7, 2014 Fari started working at Coastal Church as the campus pastor for our new Strathcona site in DTES believing that God is calling Him to move to a different position but still serve the same community. Fari is currently working towards finishing his Master of Divinity.

JOSH LOEVE Centre Church Josh is the pastor of Centre Church in Surrey, who is passionate about sharing the message of the gospel with the unchurched and seeing people transformed by Jesus.
SIMON GAU Broadway Church When Simon was 17 he co-founded the worldwide movement known as Youth Church. Making the lost a priority became the priority. A small team of dedicated, like-minded, youth along with their mentor set off to change their world. Simon pastored Youth Church Surrey for 10 years and to this day is still as passionate about reaching the lost as ever. For the last 5 years Simon has been the Next Generation Director at Broadway Church in Vancouver. He and his wife Ashlee have 3 children; 2 boys and a girl. Simon and Ashlee just recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.
James Fam joined the ministry team at Coastal Church after leaving a successful career as a professional engineer working at Translink.
LANDRY MCALLISTER Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship Landry was born and raised in Vancouver and has a huge heart for this city to know God in a real way. Him and his wife Abby met while serving with YWAM Perth in Australia and still love taking young people away on missions trips. Landry served with Coastal Church as their Youth Minister for 3 years and now works at Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship running their student ministries.
BEN HILSON Village Church Ben is the Student Ministries Director at Village Church who is a missionary at heart, and champions prayer as the basis for ministry. He has been leading Youth and Young Adult Ministry for four years and loves his calling. He is passionate about following Jesus and works hard to preach and teach the gospel to anyone that will listen.
Mike Bidell is the founding pastor of God’s Garden, a new church movement in Victoria, BC. Mike was involved in youth ministry in Langley, BC for many years, and then served as an associate pastor in Comox, BC for 4 years. In early 2012 he and his wife Laura followed a clear call from God to move to Victoria and plant a church (God’s Garden). They have been so thrilled to see God’s work spring to life. Mike carries a passion to see the Kingdom advance as people encounter the love and power of Jesus and his heart is to see Christians mobilized in anointed mission and supernatural ministry. Mike and Laura have two amazing sons and two perfectly precious daughters.
Now the Lead Pastor of Restoration Church, Pastor Sergio Najarro first answered his call to serve in late 2004 after traveling to Latin America, where he felt God’s call to expand on the ministerial work of his father’s Spanish-speaking congregation. Restoration Church now operates independently as a church-plant, and purposes to shake the world with God’s presence, see a massive harvest of lives saved, and to be part of the end-time generation that will usher in the second coming of Jesus.
James Fam joined the ministry team at Coastal Church after leaving a successful career as a professional engineer working at Translink. James completed his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and Masters degree at UBC, and has been active in campus ministry for over a decade.
Shane and Rachel Johnston lead CLA Coquitlam campus with a vision to see those far from God find and follow Jesus. They are parents of a baby girl (Aviya) and expect to one day add to their family through adoption. Christian Life Assembly is a church that meets in multiple campuses around British Columbia. Their desire is to be a life-giving church where people can connect with God and experience His presence and power in a real way. They believe that what God has been doing among us in changing lives, restoring families, and building audacious faith is just the beginning!
Helen and John planted Victory Christian Centre (today called Relate Church) in 1986, after John left his prosperous dental practise to become a full-time pastor. Helen and John are passionate about building people and families, equipping the next generation to live life well. As a couple they host the television program Relate with John and Helen, an interactive magazine-format talk show that gives insight and wisdom on relationships in a humorous, real and practical way.
International rock artist Manafest (real name: Chris Greenwood) knows the saying well; his uphill climb began at age five when his father committed suicide. Years of childhood insecurity and fear gave way to a promising skateboarding career, but then an injury took that away, too. Music soon filled the void, and it would prove to be a perfect fit. Putting words to driving rhythms gave Chris a way to be a visible light.
Sarah Bessey is a blogger-turned-author whose newly released book, Jesus Feminist, critically analyzes the Scriptures and church practices that are still often used against gender equality, as well as advocates for more diverse experiences and female leadership positions to become part of the contemporary church.
