Fari was originally born in Iran and was brought up as a Muslim believer. It was first in Canada that him and his family were introduced to Christianity. In the year 2004 Fari put his faith in Christ and shortly after started studying at Christ College in Surrey. While still in Bible college Fari got married to Angela in 2006 and today they have two beautiful girls. In the year 2008 he graduated with a Bachelor of Theology and very soon after started working at the Union Gospel Mission on the outreach team serving the community in the Downtown Eastside. Fari was ordained at Coastal Church in 2011 and continued to minister as an outreach worker at UGM.
On January 7, 2014 Fari started working at Coastal Church as the campus pastor for our new Strathcona site in DTES believing that God is calling Him to move to a different position but still serve the same community. Fari is currently working towards finishing his Master of Divinity.

SIMON GAU Broadway Church When Simon was 17 he co-founded the worldwide movement known as Youth Church. Making the lost a priority became the priority. A small team of dedicated, like-minded, youth along with their mentor set off to change their world. Simon pastored Youth Church Surrey for 10 years and to this day is still as passionate about reaching the lost as ever. For the last 5 years Simon has been the Next Generation Director at Broadway Church in Vancouver. He and his wife Ashlee have 3 children; 2 boys and a girl. Simon and Ashlee just recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary.
James Fam joined the ministry team at Coastal Church after leaving a successful career as a professional engineer working at Translink.
LANDRY MCALLISTER Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship Landry was born and raised in Vancouver and has a huge heart for this city to know God in a real way. Him and his wife Abby met while serving with YWAM Perth in Australia and still love taking young people away on missions trips. Landry served with Coastal Church as their Youth Minister for 3 years and now works at Cariboo Road Christian Fellowship running their student ministries.
BEN HILSON Village Church Ben is the Student Ministries Director at Village Church who is a missionary at heart, and champions prayer as the basis for ministry. He has been leading Youth and Young Adult Ministry for four years and loves his calling. He is passionate about following Jesus and works hard to preach and teach the gospel to anyone that will listen.
Mike Bidell is the founding pastor of God’s Garden, a new church movement in Victoria, BC. Mike was involved in youth ministry in Langley, BC for many years, and then served as an associate pastor in Comox, BC for 4 years. In early 2012 he and his wife Laura followed a clear call from God to move to Victoria and plant a church (God’s Garden). They have been so thrilled to see God’s work spring to life. Mike carries a passion to see the Kingdom advance as people encounter the love and power of Jesus and his heart is to see Christians mobilized in anointed mission and supernatural ministry. Mike and Laura have two amazing sons and two perfectly precious daughters.
